Today is going to be a very hot day, so it's best to stay out of the sun if you can. On a day like this, it's possible to come down with sunstroke. So, learn all the danger signs of a possible sunstroke about to come on. One sign is excessive prespiration, so be sure to drink a lot of liquids in this weather, and stay away from any liquids which contain caffeine. And try to stay inside an air-conditioned area if possible.

WILD IRISH ROSE-CHAPTER IV BY CHERYL V.

WILD IRISH ROSE-CHAPTER IV

Sonny jus happened to be lying on the island, but he can’t be seen from the shore; but he happened to spot Rosa lee, lying in the swampy water. Because he didn’t see Bob around, he figured she came in a boat by herself. But as he reached the shore, the moss on the hard ground packing underneath his feet, suddenly, felt wet as he realized, he’s standing in the swampy, green ocean waters.

So Sonny ran way into the swampy, green water, splashing around his legs, and as he saw Rosa lee, trying to get up on her feet, he raced over to her, and scoped her up into his arms. Then, as he walked towards his green fishing boat, he, literally, threw her inside of it; and hopped into the boat, taking off back to his mansion. As he’s on his way, Rosa lee tried to let out a scream, but is so scared, that she’s all choked up.

In the meantime, Bob got up onto his feet, and noticed that she isn’t around. He called out her name, but there’s no answer.

“Hey, my darling…where is you? Can you…hear me? If you can…yell out my name.”

He happened to notice, that the green fishing boat that was there by the island is gone. So, he suspected that she might have been kidnapped by someone, but has no idea who could have done it.

As he took off in his parents’ boat, he, suddenly, has this weird feeling inside, that Sonny might have kidnapped her. So he’s on his way back to the mansion, and as he arrived there, in much despair over Rosa lee, he got out of the boat and tied it back up.

As he walked through all that deep sand, he, soon, arrived at the back entrance of the mansion. As he walked through it, his parents were seated back there, jus enjoying themselves with a drink of champagne in their hands.

So he said to them in a desperate voice, “Rosa lee’s missing over at the island, so please have one of the butlers, call the police right away, and report her as a missing person.”

Immediately, Bob Sr. called one of the butlers over his cell phone, and in a desperate said to him, “We’ve got a bad situation, here. Bob jus came back from the island without Rosa lee. He just let me and Susanna know, that Rosa lee is missing. And he hasn’t been able to find her over at the island. So please call the police right away, or jus go down there to the police station with Bob, and have them, making out a missing person’s report.”
So the butler went ahead, and called over at the police station on his cell phone without fail.

So he said to the Captain, “Hello, is this the Captain? Rosa lee is missing. Bob jus came back from the island without her, tonight. So being she has been kidnapped before by Sonny, please send someone out there to his mansion to investigate the place. She jus might be over there at this time. It’s a big possibility.”

“Yes, this is the Captain, what time was she reported missing? Jus now? Will make out a missing person’s report right away. Also will make sure; it gets put in the local newspaper. Also I’ll send some cops there to investigate the mansion, Sonny’s mansion. If anything is discovered there, or the cops find Rosa lee, will let you know as I receive any information on her disappearance right away.”

“Thanks, Captain, I’m sure Bob and his parents will appreciate you doing this for us.”

So in the meantime, Sonny arrived back this mansion. As he pulled his fishing boat by the docks, Rosa lee’s out of it. She’s so scared, that she went into a seizure and blacked out. So as she, suddenly, came out of it, she’s aware of being carried by Sonny up to his mansion. But she, still, couldn’t let out a scream for help.

As Sonny arrived at the back entrance of his mansion with her in his arms, Rosa lee thought, “The earth’s about to cave in on me. Oh no, Sonny has me in his arms. What in the world, is he doing? Am feeling like I’m floating. Did he give me, something?”

He jus knew that she wouldn’t try to get away from him. But he has her on the back porch. Also he has a blue handkerchief around her mouth, so she can’t scream for help. He jus knew, she would behave. Or he’s going to dope her up. But he jus lay her down in a white lounge chair on the porch. And then, he walked over to the porch doors, and locked them all jus in case any butler tried coming there. But no butler knows that he’s back from his boat ride.

While lying on the chair, she thought, “He’s up to something. Can smell it on his breath. Has made me, drunk. Am feeling helpless. My world’s closed in on me. Can’t escape its grip. Knows, he’ll pay for this. Deserves to be beaten up by the cops. Now, what’s the deal?”

Bob tried to get himself out of the ocean. He jus realized that Rosa lee isn’t around anywhere in sight. While feeling waterlogged, fear has started to take its grip on him while he’s in deep thought.

“On no, she might have drowned. Overheard her voice in the ocean. It sounded eerie to me. She tried to cry for help. And I didn’t know it. Jus know it in my bones. What am I, going to do now? Am slipping in the swampy water again. Can’t hold my grip on the ocean bottom. Can’t seem to get my breath.”

Sonny didn’t know it, but the police think he’s a suspect for kidnapping Rosa lee again. Being that Bob knows where he lives, the police, already, are looking around for evidence, that could lead to Rosa lee’s whereabouts. The cops are looking around the shore.

So one of them found a handkerchief, similar to the one which Bob discovered over at his parents’ mansion, last time, Rosa lee was kidnapped from his parents’ mansion. So one of those police picked up the handkerchief, and with plastic gloves on, carefully, placed it inside a plastic bag and into a pocket on his uniform.

Rosa lee thought, “Am having this funny feeling inside. Think the cops are around. Can hear their sirens outside. Am seeing a vision before me. Looks like an angel. Hope, I’m not dead. See white when about to enter Heaven. Hope the cops, come to get me soon. Am ready to faint from hunger.”

The cops got back into the police car, and then, one of them drove it to the back of the mansion with the siren off, so Sonny wouldn’t suspect, they were around the mansion. One of the cops stayed outside, and had all the guards keep on the lookout for Sonny, jus in case; he should walk out of the place.

The cop jus outside, has both hands, securely, on his gun. And it’s ready to use while the other cop walked through the deep sand to the front of the mansion, and stayed on guard there.

So the cop in the back, shouted to Sonny, “Come out with your hands up.”---

But, since, he wouldn’t come out of his mansion, the cop forced the back doors, open, and as he was, he caught Sonny on the back porch. And Rosa lee, still, is lying on the lounge chair, appearing like she, still, is in a daze. So the other cop called the other one over to the back entrance.

While the cop walked through the deep sand, the other cop approached Sonny, who has a scared look on his face. And a cop placed handcuffs on him, and then, said to Rosa lee, trying to comfort her. “Now, jus remain calm. Sonny jus has been handcuffed. And he can’t hurt you anymore. I and my partner, who’s on his way back here, are going to take you right over to Bob Sr.’s mansion. And then, Bob’s going to look after you unless I can’t get a hold of him, and get him to pick you up which I haven’t been able to do so far.”

So the other cop came right through the back entrance, and walked right over to where Sonny’s seated in a chair, handcuffed, and read him, his rights, “Now, you have the right to remain silent. But anything you say can be used against you in the court of law. You have a right to an attorney. But we know that you don’t need one, appointed for you. You’d better call your attorney right away. And hope you’ll be able to have him, stick up for you.”

So jus before the cops let Sonny out to the cop car, they allowed him to call one of the butlers, and as he did, a cop got on his cell phone, and said to the butler, “Sonny has jus been arrested for kidnapping Rosa lee again. And this time, he needs his attorney bad, because he’s going to have to put up on heck of a fight to get out of this one. Has a lot of evidence against him to, possibly, put him in jail for many years?”
So while one of the butlers, contact Sonny’s attorney, the cops led Sonny right out the back entrance, and pointed their guns at him as he hopped into the back seat of the cop car.

One cop said to his partner on the way to the police station, “Can’t think of why he would attempt anything to get himself, arrested. He’s too smart of a guy to put his life at stake, but, already, is close to, possibly, a life sentence for kidnapping and attempted murder on Rosa lee.”

As the cops arrived at the police station, one of the cops put Sonny in a jail cell after removing his handcuffs. And he’s to stay there until the day of his trial.

Jus before Bob came to pick up Rosa lee, she came out of her daze, enough to hear Bob, talking to her over a cop’s cell phone, even though, she couldn’t respond to him.

He said to her, “My dear, darling Rosa lee…hold on tight. Nothing to…fear now. Can trust me…to come and get you. Would never…abandon you. You’re drunk…but the cop is…bringing you, some coffee.”

Sonny’s not going…to get away with this. Can depend…on me. Am going to…bring you some food…and your medication. If you feel…you’ve had a seizure…don’t panic. A live-in-nurse is going…to take good care of you.”

After getting a phone call from the police as to her whereabouts, Bob, immediately, drove his red Cadillac convertible over to Sonny’s mansion to pick her up. In fact, he had to carry her to his car. As he arrived back at his parents’ mansion, he had to let her, sleep on the back porch because she, still, is in a daze when he discovered her over at Sonny’s mansion. And jus before he left, he had to wrap her in a towel being he couldn’t leave her there on the chair in wet clothes.

That night, she was even too drunk to take to him in a way, he would understand her. So he left her, lying on a white lounge chair, covered with a big towel being he couldn’t leave her alone, so he could get some dry clothes to put on her.

He said to her jus before she fell asleep, Will be at your side…all night long. Will sleep…in a chair next to you.”

So he fell asleep, himself, and in the morning after he awakened, he checked on her again to make sure, she’s okay. He, even, had a butler, take care of all her needs. So that she would have a good chance to come out of her daze. Now that she’s over at Bob’s parents’ mansion, a live-in-nurse would be looking after her too.

Now that she’s, at least, partly, awake, he said to her, “Now, my darling, Wild Irish Rose…you’re over at…my parents’ mansion. Are going…to be alright. Right after you…have some breakfast…the live-in-nurse’s going…to check up on you. Also she’s going…to bring you…your morning medication, and…anything else…you need.”

Then, he called a butler over his cell phone, and said to him, “Please sir…Rosa lee is…in a daze right now…and can’t get up…off the lounge chair. So please…bring her, some breakfast because…I need your help…in getting her to the table. Or jus get a maid…to get one of those…portable trays of breakfast food…and let her…eat while sitting…up in a lounge chair.”

“Will get one of the maids, and also, the family nurse out there on the back porch. Because of Rosa lee’s health, you mom has, permanently, hired a live-in-nurse for her. Both the live-in-nurse and a maid will be back there, shortly. Jus stay there with Rosa lee for the time being. She, also, needs your care and nurturing. So please stay with her while she eats her breakfast, and until you and your mom are sure, that she hasn’t been harmed in any way, jus sit tight for now.”

So a maid and the live-in-nurse came back there within a half hour, however the nurse was there, first, to give her, all her medicine to get her out of her daze. Plus the nurse examined her, and didn’t find any sores or any marks on her, indicative of any abuse on her which could have occurred last night. Then, the maid gave her, some breakfast along with some strong, black coffee.

And she had been scared, all night long; however she managed to get enough sleep, anyways, being that Sonny gave her, so much champagne, the night before.

So Bob’s trying to comfort her and said to her, “Are you…alright, my dear Wild Irish Rose? Can’t believe…that Sonny would…do such a thing…to you through catching you…off guard over at this island…and kidnap you again. Guess, he didn’t…learn his lesson, yet. Has so much…evidence against him.”

Rosa lee has been resting at home under her parents’ orders, and hasn’t been able to attend high school for a few days being that she’s been in a state of shock. And her parents can’t seem to figure out how she got this way either, however they have been giving her, their full support.

Bob called over at the ranch house, every so often, to check up on her, and to see how she’s doing with Alcoholics Anonymous. And he’s been concerned on how she’s handling her problems.

Next time, he called her, he said to her, “My darling, Wild Irish Rose…assure you…I’m still…having feelings…of affection and warmth…inside for you. And these feelings are…growing stronger…every passing day and night.”

She said to him, “Am having the same feelings for you. Can’t seem to resist you. So every time, I see you, I jus seem to want more and more of you.”

The next time, he called her; she said to him, “Every time, I see you, jus want more and more of you. Keep having this urge inside to want to make love with you.”

So he said to her, “Sounds like…you’re out of shock…And you’re not…afraid of Sonny…or that other guy anymore. This makes me…feel good inside.”

So it’s one rainy day for Sonny’s trial, so she thought on the way to the courthouse, “My world’s close in on me. Am feeling quite nervous and shaky. Could mess up during the trial. And say the wrong things against Sonny. Hope, my memory comes back when the trial begins. Am floating, but in a better world. Am having a better inner world. Even though, the earth’s about to cave in on me. Am scared to face Sonny in court.”

The dark skies didn’t seem to help her mood in any way. It’s going to be hard for her to face Sonny, even though, she’s aware, things could end up not going in his favor. Both her and Bob know, that Sonny’s attorney could help him, lie his way out of his trial again like he did the last time.

She thought on the way to the courthouse, “Think my inner world is going crazy. Am feeling insecure inside it. It’s about to engulf me. Don’t know what to do to fight it. But is more into my fantasy world with Bob. Is a good feeling. Really care for him.”

On her way to the courthouse, Rosa lee’s dad played some CD full of orchestra music, so that it might calm her down. So when her, Bob, and her parents arrived over at the court building, that during the whole time, she’ll be inside the court, she would be able to remember what she needed to bring up during the trial. Also, hopefully, she would end up being able to tell the jury and judge, the whole truth, about what happened from when Sonny kidnapped her on the island until the time when Bob picked her up, and took her over to his parents’ mansion.

She said to her parents and Bob on the way, “Boy, hate all this rain. Wish I lived in another area. But like the heat. But the rains are always crazy. Am going to be soaked from all this rain. My make’s a disaster.”

When they all arrived over at the court building, she started to get very nervous.

So she thought on her way inside the court building, “Feel like I want to leap out a window. Can feel a lot of butterflies in my stomach.”

Her face was red because she started to cry. Her beautiful brown eyes aren’t glistening, although, her parents and Bob walked with her.

They all wore yellow ponchos because it’s raining in torrents.

She said to Bob, once, inside the court building, “My face must be very red from crying. Must look terrible with all my mascara running down my face.”

Then, she walked inside the women’s restroom while Bob went to the guy’s restroom. She walked in front of a mirror, and washed the entire make up off her face. Then, she reapplied her make up, certainly, the pancake makeup to cover up all the redness on her face. However she didn’t apply her mascara because it isn’t waterproof. Her eyes are red, but can’t do anything about it.

It’s time for the court session to start. So Rosa lee, Bob, and her parents all entered the court and took their seats.

After they’re seated, she said to her parents and Bob, “Boy, am I nervous. Hope I don’t screw up, today, on what I’m to say against Sonny.”

Jus as the judge took his seat at his desk, she whispered to Bob, “Hope I’m able to relax soon. Can sense it’s going to be a tough day for me. It all depends on how well; I can answer all the questions from the defense.”

Bob assured her, “Don’t worry…about anything. If you relax…things will…go better for you.”

As she sat beside him, she said to him, “Am aware, that for Sonny, this trial could end up against his favor. Hope that whatever the defense asks me, today, will stir my memory of what happened to me on those nights of my kidnappings. It’s important because whatever I say here in court, today, could cause the jury to put a real stiff sentence on sonny. Jos hopes that this trial ends for the worst for him. He deserves it after what he pulled on me during the kidnappings.”

Sonny isn’t able to sense, that Rosa lee’s planning to try hard during this trial to, really, fights for her. Badly wants him to end up, getting the worst possible sentence placed on him after this trial is over. But the very base for this sentence, solely, depended on what’s she’s able to reveal to the jury all through the trial, no matter, how long it’s going to take to get him behind bars. She would have to be able to prove, that it has been more than revenge that he has been having against her.

So jus as the judge came into the courtroom, everyone stood up as usual. And since, he’s more than ready, he told everyone there for today’s court session, “All may be seated except for Rosa lee. Are you sure, you’re ready enough for today? Your eyes seem to be quite bloodshot like if you have been crying enough tears to fill a bucket.”

“Yes, judge, I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.”

“Okay, then, Rosa lee, walk right over here and take the stand. It’s time to take the oath, raise your right hand. Try to relax if you can before I proceed. Know this is going to be very hard on you, today,. Want you to be able to tell me and the jury, everything, you know, from the questions, the defense is about to ask you. Do you swear to tell the truth, nothing but the truth, so help me, God?”

“Yes, I do, your Honor.”

“Okay, now, you may be seated. State your name for the book.”

“My name’s Rosa lee Davidson.”

“Okay, defense, you may go ahead with your questions.”

“Did he do anything to hurt you on the night, you were kidnapped?”

“Yes, on the night of the kidnapping, he was quite rough on me. When he was in so much of a hurry to get away from the island before Bob s saw him, taking me inside his fishing boat, he caused me to have some bruises on my back which Bob happened to notice that night when he came to get me over at Sonny’s mansion.”

“Do you think, he was trying to kidnap you again jus so he could get some revenge against you for giving up on the romance with him because you thought, he used you, and tired to steal you away from Bob?”

“Yes, I do, but it was a lot more than that. He acted, so stealthily, that night, jus so that he could get me, drink because he knows, I am an epileptic, and if I get drunk, I can go into a seizure.”

“On the night of the kidnapping, do you remember him, forcing booze on you, and as a result, having a seizure, that night?”

“Yes, he did force booze on me; he forced it down my throat, and afterwards, I was in a daze until the next morning after the night when Bob came over to Sonny’s mansion, and picked me up. So Sonny did cause me to have a seizure from which I could have died if the cops along with Bob, hadn’t rescued me, that night, and right away, given me, my right medication.”

“What you’re implying, is that he tried to kill you by getting you drunk? Did he give you, any medication that you, usually, don’t take, jus so that he could dope you up as to hope, that you wouldn’t remember what happened on that one night of the kidnapping?”

“Yes, that was his intention to make me drunk, and go into a bad seizure, so that I would be dead by the morning. However this time, he didn’t give me any kind of dope or medication. He was in too much of a hurry to kill, and then, dispose of my body, somewhere, before the cops or Bob found me, there, at the mansion.”

“Okay, Rosa lee, that is all, that is enough questions; lay off of her now; she can’t take any more, can’t you see, that she’s ready to go into tears? You may go to your seat now Rosa lee.”

“Thank you, your Honor.”

“Okay, plaintiff takes the stand, and raises your right hand. You must take the oath, now; do you swear to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me, God.”

“Yes, I do, your Honor,” he replied with much uncertainty in his voice.

“Okay”, said the judge with a formal voice, “the defense may fire the questions at him now, and however first state your name for the book.”

“My name is Sonny Saget.”

“Okay, go ahead, defense, ask him, every question, you’ve got on paper before you, or that you can think of that should help the plaintiff, get what he deserves.”

So the defense tried his best to bring the right questions up to the plaintiff, so that he couldn’t hurt Rosa lee in any way anymore; so that this trial would end, quickly, and so that Sonny would end up getting what he has deserved for some time.

“Jus remember now Sonny, am not going to let you, lie your way out of this one because that is, exactly, what you did during your last trial. So if you don’t tell the truth, and somebody suspects you aren’t, then, you’re going to have a stiff charge against you. So listen, very carefully; tell me what happened on that very night on which Rosa lee was kidnapped. You’re a definite suspect in this case.”

“That night, I decided to lie down on the island and relax. Then, I jus happened to walk up to the shore when I heard a weird voice, as I reached the shore, I spotted Rosa lee, lying in the water. So, then, I ran into the ocean. As I caught up with her, she happened to not be breathing. So, then, I lay her inside my fishing boat, and had to perform some CPR on her being that Bob, certainly, wasn’t anywhere in sight. So I had no choice, but to wait until she spit up some water which she did.

Didn’t know if she was going to have a seizure. As I reached the back entrance of my mansion, I had to put her on the back porch in her wet clothes. Didn’t have any blankets or towels in which to wrap her. Had to let her, lay there until I could get a hold of someone for her.”

“Okay, what did you leave her; lay on the back porch in wet clothes? Wasn’t a maid or nurse available to take care of her?”

“No, so, then, I didn’t know what to do. Knew she was already to go into a seizure. However I couldn’t find her medicine. She went right into a seizure as a result of not having her medication with her; and then, she slipped into a daze.”

“Did you try to inflict any bodily harm on her in any way?”

“No, I didn’t doing anything like that, that night, while she was at my mansion.”

“Why didn’t you call someone in charge of her like her live-in-nurse, that night, if you knew she’s prone to seizures and had one, that night?”

“Don’t have either her parents’ or Bob’s parents’ phone numbers. And both numbers are unlisted.”

“Why didn’t you take her to the hospital, that night, or even call an ambulance for her if she was in such bad condition?”

“There wasn’t a hospital, that was close enough to take her, and I was afraid to move her being she was too pale-looking and had a bad seizure.”

“You, still, didn’t answer the question, right; why you didn’t take her to a hospital even if it was a little far away? When a person has a seizure and has no medication with them, that person is supposed to be taken to the emergency room right away. So in studying to be a doctor, why didn’t you know this?”

“To tell you, the truth, I jus go by what my family, tells me whenever my sister goes into a seizure.”

“You know something; if she would have died from that seizure, she had that night, you would have been responsible for her death.”

“What else happened that night which stopped you from giving her, the proper treatment?”

“Didn’t know that she actually had a seizure when inside my boat, and over at the mansion. Gave her, some champagne to calm her down, and to bring her blood pressure down to normal being it was near 200.”

“Okay, defense,” the judge said in a formal voice, “that is enough questions for him. Don’t want to see him, come down with heatstroke from this heat because in being hyper or nervous can make a person, sweat profusely, and go into one.”

“So it’s time for a break, and so all here in the court, today, can get some decaffeinated drink and something to eat. Don’t have anything caffeinated which can bring your temperature to a dangerous level.”

THE SCARE IS THERE

The scare is there
Something has gotten in your hair
The fear that something deadly is around you
Doesn’t help keep your mind in full view
But whatever is out there in the city
Doesn’t seem to make things, very pretty
Some bad virus seems to be overwhelming
Not even something like a four-leaf clover
Will change things around you
Someone is out to kill the whole city
And is going to stick to the nitty gritty
Until the whole city has been wiped out
This virus, already, has the city, sporting a pout
Because there seems no way out
As the virus is allowed to travel about
The tube which contains the virus has been mismarked
So that the whole city’s being pressured by its mark
Some people, already, have been consumed
By the virus while others are in danger of its consummation
A bit of powder from that certain tube
Has been keeping its power in the lube
Jus because some lady’s life has been overcome by stress
She is out to make everyone else’s life one big mess
And she isn’t about to stop scaring all of the city
Until, at least, this one family living in the city
Lives have all been endangered
And their lives are, constantly, kept in danger
This one woman is out for revenge against this family
And this one virus is going to place the whole city in famine

WILD IRISH ROSE-CHAPTER II-BY CHERYL V.

WILD IRISH ROSE-CHAPTER II
Being that Sonny is in the vicinity of Mountain Haven, he arrived there at the mansion not too much time later. So upon him and the limousine driver hopping out of the limousine, they walked up to the front doors of the mansion. Right at the doors, Sonny signaled one of the butlers over there to the front.
So the butler, then, let both the limousine driver and Sonny inside the mansion jus after one of Bob’s parents answered to the butler. Bob Sr. surprised Susanna by allowing Sonny and the limousine driver to enter the mansion.
As one of the butler answered the doors, he greeted Sonny and the limousine driver, “Hello there, my fine young men. What brings you two, here, today?”
“Well, young man,” answered Sonny in his usual voice, “This is my limousine driver, Barry. And he took me here today that I have some business to attend?”
So the butler said to him, “Welcome to the mansion. Have a good time while you both are here. If any of you would like something to eat or drink jus signal me. And I’ll see to it, that you two are served,” as he led them to the back porch area.
As the butler along with Sonny and the limousine driver, arrived inside the back porch area, Bob Sr., Susanna, and Bob were seated at a fine, wooden table.
There, Bob Sr. said to the butler in a formal voice, “Sir, please provide some food for these two gentlemen as neither one has eaten any supper as they have been on the road.”
“Will see to it that these gentlemen also are served some dinner along with some red punch. Gentlemen, please have a seat, and help you to some coffee at the end of the table. Will let the kitchen maids know, that you two would like some service too.”
So as the butler sat the two gentlemen at the table, he, then, served them, their dinner, consisting mainly of cheese appetizers, filet mignon with assorted Chinese vegetables along with red punch on the side with red and green sherbet added. Also the butler placed the finest silverware, wrapped in red cloth napkins, and a pitcher of ice water along with two glasses on the table for Barry and Sonny.
After all were finished with their dinner, and left the back porch area, Rosa lee stripped down to her two piece beautiful green cameo outfit along with a green, silky robe for the picture taking.
In the meantime, while seated in the living room area on a black leather couch, Barry asked Bob, “What do you, think about Rosa lee, doing such a thing like this?”
“Think that…it’s wild. But that’s how she…earned her nickname, ‘Wild Irish Rose’.”
“Doesn’t this bother you in any way? Aren’t you afraid that she might fall for this guy?”
“No…not at all. Isn’t the type…who would…Is very careful…when it…comes to men. Picked me only…because she knows…I care for her. But sometimes…she’s afraid to…get close to me.”
Then, she came out of the portable sauna. So Sonny caught eye of her as she walked over to a white lounge chair, he has sparkles in his eyes. As he has her, lay down in a sexy position on her side, he started to take pictures of her. Then, he has her, lay on her back, and finished up taking his pictures of her for his magazine.
“Will be sure, you get your money’s worth for allowing me to put you in the centerfold for the next issue of my magazine. Goodbye, my lovely girl, it’s been nice to see you.”
Sonny and the limousine driver walked out the front doors. And jus before they did, Sonny paid some good money to Bob because he allowed Sonny to take pictures of his girl for his magazine.
In the meantime, while seated on the lounge chair, resting, she thought, “Hope that all this time, you’ve believed in me, Bob. After these pictures, never want to see Sonny’s face again. Is bad enough, that I fell for you. But never want to get hurt anymore.”
He whispered to himself while still seated on the living room couch by himself, “Can’t figure out…what made you…pose for this guy. This guy’s a nobody…and always will…be that way. Hope you…don’t allow him…to lure you on because…you’ll regret it…some day if you do. Hope you…stay away…from this guy…for my and your sake too.”
Somehow, he knew that she would never do anything to hurt him in any way. Every time, she would give him, a call, even if it’s late at night, she would say to him, “My love, jus want you very bad. Jus love all the thrills, you give me. Always provide a lot of them for me. Mean when we’re together.”
So he’s certain, that she’s his woman. But one thing’s certain. He has the ability to stop her from falling in love with another guy. He’s the one, who’s really her man. She knew this from the very first day, they met. Also her romance with him never would be in danger. So it never would die off. He knew that in jus having as his woman. He always can put her on a high.
She thought while lying down in her bed at home, “Know, our romance will be long-lasting. Am having an urge inside me. Want him to make love to me. Has that great muscular build. Will keep leaning on him for comfort. Acts very manly when I’m with him.”
He said to himself in front of a mirror, “One good thing about Rosa lee…has me as her man…is that I have…the ability to keep her…as all mine. Might be…very hung up on me. But needs…to get to know…me better. Ever since we’ve started…going to Mountain Haven High School together…she’s been…having a romance with me…which probably will…end up to be forever…until the day…one of us dies off.”
Over at Mountain Haven High School, one bright and clear day, Rosa lee and Bob happened to notice as they’re coming inside the gym, that no other students showed up for class, due to the heat. So the two checked around in the locker rooms; but neither one could find anyone else around.
So she walked back into the women’s locker room while he went back into the men’s locker room. There, he took off all his clothes, and wrapped this huge bright orange towel around him. Then, he walked right into the women’s locker room, carrying his clothes with him in a white garbage bag only to catch Rosa lee up to something. As he sat down on a wooden bench by the lockers, he set his clothes near him on the floor. Then, he stared at her as she took off the rest of her clothes.
Then, she shoved all her clothes right into her locker, and then, said to him in a sly way, “Come on, there’s no one here in the locker room, so come and follow me. Am going into the women’s shower area. Have something up my sleeve.”
As the two arrived in the shower area, he followed her into one of the showers which turned on by it, and shocked them a bit being the water’s kind of cool. And as the water flowed down from the shower head onto their bare skin, to them, it felt good and very refreshing. They used her very fragrant body wash which smelled like lavender, and soaped each other down completely and sensually.
She said to him while in the shower with him, “Let’s get into some dirty dancing. While we’re at it, let’s rub our bodies together.”
And as they’re getting into some dirty dancing, she said to him, “Don’t you, feel all the heat and fire, building up inside you? Is it brewing inside you right now?”
He said to her sensually, “Feel as although…the fire inside me…is over the boiling point. Am really hot…inside for you, my darling. Let’s walk back…over to the wooden bench. Don’t bother…drying yourself off completely. Is better…that way.”
She said to him shyly, “Jus look at your brown eyes. They’re starry-looking. Jus look at you in the mirror. Are blushing and so am I. Can feel it in my face. Am jus so full of warmth inside me?”
Then, she said to him, a couple of minutes later after staring at him “Can feel all that desire, building up inside me. And it feels, as though it’s taking over my world. Boy, what a wild sensation, I’m feeling inside. My passion for you is going crazy. The way, you’re staring into my eyes. Can tell, you’re really hot for me right now.”
So the two are on top of a wooden bench as they’re feeling each other all over. As they’re touching each other, he pulled her on top of him. And their eyes are really beaming as their passion’s taking them past their limits.
About a half hour later, the two arose from the bench, feeling as though they could hardly walk. They’re a bit tired from that entire love making. And then, they walked into the shower area once more. There, they again soaped each other all over. Then, they rinsed themselves off good. And as they walked out of the shower, they’re still feeling hot for each other. As they’re getting dressed, they overheard the school bells, going off. They knew the school day was over.
He said to her as they walked out of the gym, “We’ve had one…groovy day together…didn’t we? Not only that…but we don’t get…to do this very often. Jus hope…that the gym teacher decides…to stay away…from class for a few days. Think that she doesn’t…like teaching gym…in this heat. Don’t blame…her either.”
So along with some other teenagers, Bob and Rosa lee filed out of the school doors with their arms, wrapped around each other’s shoulders. While the two walked out of school, Rosa lee wasn’t aware of Sonny, following her out of school. He’s jealous of her being that he knew; the two have been going together for some time. And he, very bad, wanted to have a romance with her, even though he knew; she has no interest in him.
As Bob jus happened to notice Sonny, as he caught up to her, Bob said to her, “Watch out, Rosa lee…Sonny’s trying…to follow you. Run as fast…as you can out the doors. Don’t pay…any attention to him. Will handle this guy…before he has any chance…to hurt you in any way.”
PROLOGUE
Sonny spent a lot of time, working for his magazine as a photographer. And he jus happened to live down the street from the high school because he’s living in a house for the time being until the heat goes away. Where he usually lived in Dawson Land, the heat’s unbearable at this time of year. When the heat cooled off in the fall, he would move back into his mansion until the heat started coming back into the area where he usually lived most of the time in Dawson Land.
As Sonny caught up to Rosa lee, she suddenly let go of Bob’s hand, and started running as fast as her feet could carry her. Bob caught up with Sonny, but she didn’t seem to recognize him being his hair’s a blondish color and shorter than it usually is. Also he’s wearing black-rimmed glasses which he usually doesn’t wear. But she isn’t aware, that it’s him, Sonny, chasing her.
However as she overheard Bob, telling her, “Come on, my girl, run out those doors. Sonny’s after you don’t know from where he came,” then, she knew that it was Sonny.
So she jus kept running until she reached one of the school buses and ran right inside it.
Bob said to Sonny, “Hey you…what do you…think you’re trying…to do?---Leave her, alone…she didn’t…ever do anything...to deserve what you’re…trying to do to her.—She’s my girl…go pick on someone else…your own age.---But don’t you…dare try…anything on her.---Because if you do…you’ll regret it.”
However Sonny jus seemed to ignore Bob, as he’s giving Sonny, a warning, and kept on chasing after Rosa lee.
Bob got into one big fight with him as Rosa lee jus made it inside a school bus. Bob ended up at the school bus jus as it’s ready to take off after having punched Sonny down to the ground. And that guy’s very scared of Bob. So he jus took off back down the street towards being he didn’t want anything more to do with Bob.
As Bob entered the school bus, he noticed that Rosa lee’s in tears, and shaking like a leaf. So he walked up to her, and placed his arms around her. But she couldn’t seem to calm down yet.
Because Sonny tried to follow her, it scared her so much, that she thought, “Don’t ever want to go back to that high school anymore. Don’t know where that guy came from. Don’t trust him either. Jus might try to follow me again.”
Jus after she finally calmed down, in feeling very angry inside, Bob told her in a scared voice, “My dear Wild Irish Rose…doesn’t worry.---I got…into a fight with that guy…who was trying…to follow you.---Punched him so hard…that he probably…will never…remember you anymore. Also have made that guy…whoever he is…afraid enough to not…want to bother you anymore.”
He wanted to take her out in Bob Sr.’s blue and white speedboat on a surprise boat ride. So he took her by the hand. And as he did, she felt fire, race through her. So she thought, as they walked to the docks in all that thick sand, “Boy, can feel all that heat, building up inside me. Makes me, feel very hot. Is taking over my body. Can’t resist him. All these thrills, he gives me. Makes me, want more and more, every time, I’m with him.”
He said to her as they walked to the speedboat, “To me…this hazy sky feels…like it’s about…to bring much mystery…into the night for us. Jus because I’m on my way…with you, my dear…the sky must…be bringing something…alive into the night. To me, it seems…to be very unfriendly…and it caused…this cooler to…move in along…with some spooks, tonight.”
One the two were at the docks, and after they got into the speedboat, he drove the boat with great speed over to the island. The fast boat made her, feel as though it’s about to flip over from the force of the waves as they bounced off the boat as they’re on the way over to the other side of the ocean.
And once, the two reached the island, dusk moved in with dark, hazier skies. S as he pulled the boat into shore, the two stripped down to their underwear, and left their other clothes inside the boat.
She’s deep into thought, “Boy, jus because he’s in his underwear. It’s doing something to me. It’s jus that his bare chest appears to be so bronze in the moonlight. Want to feel all those hairs on his bare chest. But am afraid of him. Although he turns me on a lot. All fire inside me, seems to reach towards the sky. The way, the moonlight shines on him. This makes the bulge in his chest, stick out. It’s being accented by the moonlight. Can see the smoke from my fire around him.”
So he tried to talk to her into wading in the ocean. But the water’s a bit cooler at night.
“My dear Wild Irish Rose…why are you…being so chicken…of the ocean, tonight? The water actually…is warmer at night…than it is during the daytime.”
“But the sun is down. So how can the ocean actually be warmer now?”
“It’s hard to explain…but nature has something…to do with it. It seems to regulate…the temperature of the water…all by itself. Come on…into the water with me. Now is the time…to do it…being that it’s…very quiet around the island…at this time of evening.”
So she finally took him up on it, and wanted to test out the water. Once, it turned dark, the two came out of the water. It isn’t rocky near the island and somewhat deeper by the docks. So by the light of the moon, they went wading in the ocean which seemed to be jus a bit cool to the touch. The two came out of the water, and feeling somewhat waterlogged being the ocean near the island’s a bit swampy. And near the island, the water seemed to be a bright, greenish color being that the full moon’s shining so brightly on the water.
He said to her as they walked to shore, “Think it’s time…that we get…back to the mansion. Don’t know about you…but I’m shivering…and want to…get back to the mansion…before I freeze to death.”
So by the light of the moon, the two have enough light to be able to see. So then, Bob reached into the boat, and grabbed the rest of their clothes, and then, handed Rosa lee, what’s left of her clothes. So the two put their clothes back on over their underwear. And then, they got back inside the speedboat very carefully, so they wouldn’t end up slipping on their butts. As the two took their seats in front of the boat, they were off on their way back to the docks.
Once, they approached the docks under dark, hazy skies, as he took her hand, she said, “Had a good time over at the island. But couldn’t resist you in your underwear. Wanted to touch you. But something stopped me.”
“What is it…with you, my dear? Are you…having an urge inside you? Do you want…to make love? Is that what…you can’t tell me?”
But the cat has her tongue as he helped her out of the boat. He noticed a butler, motion to him through a back porch window that it’s okay to go through the back entrance.
So as the two walked through all that sand, Bob called a butler on his cell phone, who said to him, “Your parents went out, somewhere, and won’t be back for awhile. Jus don’t let them, catch you two again, doing anything, you shouldn’t be doing, that’s all.”
So the two walked through the back porch area, when Rosa lee drearily said to Bob, “Am too tired. Am not in the mood for making love tonight.” My fear of Sonny is haunting me inside. Can’t seem to shake it off.”
So she walked with Bob into his master bedroom, and crawled into his bed. As she fell asleep beside him, he said to her in a desperate voice, “My dear Wild Irish Rose…my darling, it’s not good…to fight that urge…to make love. Got to learn…to give into it.” After he wrapped his arm around her, she still felt uneasy inside even though, that hot urge inside her, started to drive her wild.
Rosa lee got stirred from her sleep upon having a nightmare about some guy, chasing her all around the mansion. Since, she felt very spooky inside after the nightmare, she, then, walked over to the kitchen. Once, she arrived there, half asleep, she grabbed some booze out of the refrigerator. And then, she poured some of it into a blue plastic cup. As she drunk it all down, she isn’t aware of sleepwalking back into Bob’s bedroom. As she arrived inside his bedroom, and upon being about to go back to sleep, she overheard what sounded like a car door.
Sonny snuck out of his blue Chevy with a wicked look in his eyes. And he managed to get by all the guards outside the mansion. This is being that none of them happened to see him around the place because of it being so dark. But Rosa lee called one of the guards because she knew, that someone’s sneaking around outside.
So she said to a guard while feeling very scared, “Am still awake and on my way from the kitchen, it sounded like someone, jus pulled into the driveway. And whoever it is out there, jus might try to break into the mansion. So if you find anyone, snooping around out there, be sure to let one of the butlers, know about it right away.”
So while a guard kept on the lookout for Sonny, or anyone who might jus be
Trying to get into the mansion to hurt either Bob or her, Sonny walked through the thick sand. Also he tried to spot a living room window through which he could get inside the mansion. Since, he can’t figure out a way to get through the side of the place, he proceeded to the back entrance.
As he arrived at the back doors, he had a mask and a camouflage outfit on to disguise himself, so none of the guards happened to notice him by the back doors. S, once, at the back of the mansion, he jus happened to see one of the doors, open because it hadn’t been locked securely last night. And a strong wind which came off the ocean, that night outside, jus happened to blow the door, open. Also a guard should have noticed that it was Sonny by the back doors if all the guards were doing their jobs, but none of them did.
So in being that Sonny happened to spot the open door, he called a butler on his cell phone, and said to him, “Do you remember my voice?”
The butler didn’t answer back to him, because for some odd reason, his cell phone wasn’t working. And this is due to some special gadget inside of Sonny’s car interfering with the signal on that butler’s cell phone. And Sonny had this gadget, installed into his car to warm him of any police being close by while on the road.
So Sonny tried once more to get hold of a butler, so in a disguised voice, he said to whoever he happened to get a hold of, “Hey, butler, I’m here, being that one of the guards, sent me here to check the back porch area being that one of the doors are open. And it probably happened due to a bad storm, having gone through the area throughout the night.”
As Sonny didn’t get any answer, yet, on his cell phone, he, then, said to a butler, “Am here to make sure, that the back porch area hasn’t been damaged in any way, or that nothing has been stolen. There’s nothing to worry about. If I suspect any damage or anything missing, I’ll contact you or one of the guards right away.”
But the message never went through on the butler’s cell phone, so in the meantime, Sonny looked around the back porch area, and pretended like he’s an inspector. And then, because he knew, that all of the butlers must be asleep, he then, snuck through the mansion. He happened to notice a light on inside one of the master bedrooms.
So then, Sonny happened to overhear Rosa lee, talking to her while inside of Bob’s master bedroom, “What am I to do? Can’t seem to go back to sleep. Am aware that someone has been snooping around the place.”
Jus as Sonny approached Bob’s bedroom, he noticed, that he’s fast asleep. So then, upon seeing Rosa lee near the dresser inside the bedroom, Sonny snuck behind Rosa lee. As he took a handkerchief out of his pocket, he quickly tied it around her mouth, so she wouldn’t be able to let out any screams. So then, he tied her up with some rope which he brought with him from the back porch area.
Then, quickly he slipped out the back entrance again as he half-dragged her with him through the thick sand back to his car. As he arrived at his car, he then very suddenly, tossed her inside on the back seat with her still tied up, and then upon closing the car door, hopped inside his car on the driver’s side.
As he sped out the driveway, he kept his lights off until he hit the street. Then, jus after he turned on the car lights, he sped off back towards his mansion which wasn’t far away. While he was on his way, he heard a mumble from the back seat. But, since, words wouldn’t come out of her mouth; he isn’t able to overhear what she tried to say. As she mumbled the last words for now, she then, sank into her dreamland.
And in her dream, she heard this voice inside her mind which sounded a lot like Bob to her, and said to her, “There’s nothing of which to be afraid. Am here to protect you. Nothing can go wrong. Really care for you. That’s what really matters now.”
She, only, has this voice inside her mind because Sonny drugged her up through forcing some drug down her throat just before he left for his place.
Once, there, at his mansion, as he pulled into the driveway, he didn’t even want any butler to know, that he even left the mansion, that night. So now all of the butlers still were asleep and never found out, he left to pick up Rosa lee. So they all figured him as being in bed right now. So none of them checked on him, that night.
Sonny, then, dragged her into his bedroom. Then, after he lay her on his bed, he drugged her some more. And then, he made her, drink some champagne. But jus as he’s going to leave his bedroom, she passed out. So he carried her over to an extra bedroom to a bed there which room is jus full of bright hues of blue, green and white, accented by bright blue walls. None of the butlers ever checked on this room, that night, being none of them were aware, that Rosa lee slept in that bedroom, that one night.
While asleep, she has this dream in which he undressed her, and tied her to his bed with rope jus in case she came out of her stupor. Then, as she came out of her stupor briefly, she said to herself, thinking Bob’s around, “Please make love to me. Am anxious to do it right now,” while still being groggy.
In the morning, after he arose from his sleep, he’s in a hurry to get over to his office to work on his magazine. So he didn’t even bother feeding her, any breakfast or anything before he left. He jus drove her over to the high school in some jean shorts and a red tee shirt which she, somehow, managed to put on jus before leaving his mansion when she still was half asleep after he untied her.

VIRUS-FIRST DRAFT OF A SHORT STORY BY CHERYL V.

VIRUS

Michael Pauley, a reporter for New York news, one snowy morning arrived at his office. He had jus come from a lab, that morning, after getting hold of some tube which, for some odd reason, wasn’t labeled. And he didn’t become aware of this until he arrived at his destination.

Some guy, Paul Horton, originally, had advertised about this tube being under suspicion in the local newspaper. And this guy jus wanted more information, concerning why this one unlabeled tube, had never earned justification for being in the lab in the first place. So, then, jus before Michael had left the lab, that morning, he suggested, that he take some action, right away. And bring up what he learned about this tube, if anything, at the conference which the two were going to attend, that morning, with all the other reporters for New York news.

However, little did Paul know that Michael jus wanted to bring up the subject of the unlabeled tube in his own way during the conference? What he really craved was more attention from the other reporters, so that he could possibly get as much publicity as he could. He wanted a raise because he felt; he wasn’t getting paid enough for his job.

So as Paul walked into the conference room, and it is almost time for the conference to start, little did Paul know, that there never had been a conference, scheduled for that morning. So, as Paul took a seat at the wooden table inside the room, Michael still was inside his office, checking over the unlabeled tube, he had picked up at the lab, trying to figure out, how the tube even got into the lab with a label without anyone, knowing about it.

Then, since, Michael’s an inspector, although, not for a specific company, he, then, took a chance, and opened up the tube, hoping to find something inside of it, not knowing at the time, that in doing so could be risky to his life. However upon opening up the tube, all of a sudden, he jus happened to breathe in the contents of the tube, and started sneezing very hard.

He didn’t want to take any chances, so he, then, quickly, put on an oxygen mask which he kept in his desk, jus in case, he ever got sick with the flu or any kind of virus. Because he has had asthma for as long as he can remember as a result of having been a heavy smoker for quite a few years, although, he quite smoking about a year ago.

He had an urge to dump out the whole contents of the tube, and empty it into a wastebasket. However, something held him back from doing such a silly thing, although, after putting on a pair of plastic gloves, he did happen to pull out a piece of paper which did have some special code on it which he felt, he had to try to decipher. Something inside his mind told him, that it could be a matter of life or death, though, not necessarily to him, if he didn’t try to break the code.

So, then, he took a decoder out of his top desk drawer, and then, spent about an hour, trying to break the code. He wasn’t able to figure out all of the code, but he did figure out the most important words in the code. And those words came out to be: Anthrax, a virus known only to kill numerous brain cells.

Then, he, carefully, wrote these words on the outside of the tube, and then, he threw the piece of paper into an old wastebasket in his office. After lighting a match, and setting it on fire, he allowed the paper to burn to ashes. After the paper burnt down to nothing, he, then, wrote sugar on the outside of the tube, and taped the paper into the tube itself over the other words.

Afterwards, he carried his papers and that tube over to the conference room, where Paul has been waiting for him to show up, not knowing that Michael jus turned into a vampire inside his office after he broke the code of the tube.

Then, as Michael arrives inside the conference room late like usual for the meeting, Paul, who has waited at least an hour for him to show up, suddenly, disappears before Michael’s eyes. And some people, he’s never seen before, thinking that they are jus some newbie reporters for the New York news, suddenly, seem to show up from nowhere.
So, Michael thinks that these newbies jus wanted some publicity before become actual reporters. However he thinks that these people jus followed him into the room, being that he’s never met them before. And weren’t inside the building before when he entered, and walked down the hall to his office. Because at that time, only, Paul was inside the building, but in the conference room. And these guys, newbie to Michael, seemed to show up from nowhere, so he got the impression that these guys jus decided to walk into the room jus to be noisy.

Upon Michael and the other guys taking their seats in the conference room, Mike started talking before any of the others could say one word,

“This morning in coming from the lab jus down the street on Broadway, jus before I left the lab, Paul told me, that one of the tubes in the lab were under suspicion. So, that tube which was unlabeled at the time happened to be the one which I have with me at this particular time. And it happened that jus as I had been examining the contents of the tube, I started sneezing heavily, and had to put this mask on in order to get my breath back.”

Paul replied, “Oh no, why are you such an idiot at times? Whatever you do, don’t open that tube in this room or any other room inside this building. I’ve heard that whatever is in that tube, could be dangerous, possibly, life threatening.”

Michael said with a puzzled look on his face, “You’ve got to be kidding, Paul. Why did you, tell me to pick up that tube in the first place if it wasn’t labeled. None of us know what could be inside that tube.”

Paul replied, “You didn’t open up that tube while inside this building, did you, Michael?”

“In fact, I did, Paul. That’s why I sneezed so hard, that I now have to wear this mask in order to breathe when ever inside this building.”

“Oh no, Michael, if the health department finds out about that tube, and whatever is actually inside it, they’ll soon be all over all of us. And won’t leave us alone, possibly, placing all of us in quarantine until they’re sure, that the contents of that tube aren’t life threatening. This could cause an almost widespread disaster amongst all of us and anyone who could have inhaled the substance, especially, you, Michael.”

One of the newbies commented on what he jus said, “That means that even any of us newbies, if any of us come in contact with this tube which is now lying on the table, or even if any of the spores of this substance, jus happen to float onto our skin, any of us could soon become so deathly sick from it.”

Suddenly, there was a dead silence around the whole room, and then, Michael still wearing his plastic gloves, suggested that all leave the room immediately. And instructed all to wait outside the room until he placed the tube back into his pocket; however Paul said to him, “That’s not going to do any of us, any good, to put the tube into your pocket.”

Upon handing masks out to everyone in the conference room, Mike, then, said to everyone, “Whatever you do, don’t even go near this tube, or open it up because like Paul jus warned all of us, the contents could be dangerous if inhaled.”

Paul, then, said, “Don’t anyone listen to his orders to wait outside the conference room because as long as you all keep wearing these masks while inside the building, especially, this conference room at any time, you all should be safe. And another thing, doesn’t even be tempted to open up the tube on the table, or even touch it without wearing plastic gloves.”

Michael, then, said to all the newbies, and Paul, “What I’m going to do is take this tube back to the lab, and get it examined. And when I get the results on it, I’ll let you all know what’s really inside this tube. Jus because Michael opened the tube inside his office, and inhaled its contents, I’m going to make sure, that he’s examined, immediately, over at the doctor’s office inside this building.”
Then, one of the newbies who used to be a doctor, said to all jus before they all left the conference room, “As a precaution, I’m going to give each one of you, a special antibiotic, known to kill all unknown viruses. It might cause numerous symptoms like flu-like symptoms, and has to be taken for 60 days; however it’ll prevent each one of us from dying from the virus if one is found inside this tube.”

So, then, jus after each one was given the antibiotic by the doctor, and each prescription filled over at the pharmacy next door, then, Paul ended the meeting. And from there, all went back to what they were doing before the meeting, except for Michael, whom Paul ordered to go see the doctor inside the building.

And as Michael walked with Paul over to the doctor’s office on that same floor, upon them both arriving inside the office, Paul said to the doctor, “The reason both of us are here is to be examined for any symptoms of a possible virus, that could have been placed into action through inhalation of the contents of this tube which I have in my hand. And please have the health department examine it because it’s important, that it be checked out because right now, many lives of people who work in this building, especially, we and the newbies could be at stake here.”

So, then, Doctor Freely said to both of the guys, I’m going to take several blood tests right here in my office from you two guys. So please take a seat, both of you, and a nurse will be right with you. I have to go attend to a patient, who has been having flu-like symptoms for a few days, and needs a potent antibiotic, prescribed to him, so that he’ll be able to get well, so he can go back to work. In fact, I’m sure you know him, Paul, because Michael is the one, I’m referring to.”

Jus before the doctor could say another word, Paul said to him somewhat angry, “Why didn’t you say something before this, Michael? That tube, you happened to get from the lab, this morning, have you been performing unsafe procedures while handling this tube? You must have because you mentioned during the meeting, that you opened up the tube in your office jus before coming to the meeting.”

“But I put plastic gloves on and a mask jus before opening the tube? How could have I inhaled the substance?”

“Maybe, there’s a leak in the tube,” said the doctor, “All tubes from that lab down the street aren’t considered safe, anymore. There have been reports by the health department of people, who have handled any of the tubes, even the labeled ones, of changing the substances of the tubes or even placing fake names on them.”

The doctor was having this discussion with Michael as he’s being led to another room for a complete examination including the extensive blood tests which could take about an hour. So, then, upon the nurse taking Paul’s blood, he, then, left his mask on, and walked down the hall over to Michael’s office while Michael still is being examined.

Upon Paul entering Michael’s office after prying the door open with careful hands, he, then, walked over to Michael’s desk. And then, he opened up every single drawer and also each one of the cabinets. And before going over to the cabinets, he jus happened to notice, that there was a bunch of ashes inside the wastebasket beside Michael’s desk.

As he looked inside the wastebasket, he pulled out a piece of paper which didn’t burn all the way. And upon looking at it, he noticed, that he could make out a word, Anthrax, and jus on the other side of it, the word, virus, was in plain letters. So, immediately, he become overanxious, and didn’t know what to do.

In the meantime, as the doctor examined Michael, he, suddenly, keeled over, and immediately, the nurse came inside the room, and gave him, some oxygen through a mask. However as he came to, he complained of being dizzy and lightheaded and very sick to his stomach, and very weak.

So, then, immediately, the nurse took over seeing the next patient at least giving him and all the patients after that one, blood tests to test for a bad virus strain, that came up in Michael’s blood test.

In the meantime, the doctor had to rush him to the hospital which is jus a few streets down in the city of New York. And as the doctor arrived with him, immediately, he was taken out of the doctor’s car in a wheelchair, in case, he happened to pass out again.

And as the doctor and Michael arrived inside the emergency room, Michael, immediately, got taken by another doctor, and more blood tests were taken over at the hospital while the doctor from the New York news building stayed with Michael jus after his blood tests were performed.

When the results of his blood tests came back, they confirmed jus what the doctor had suspected over at the news building, that Michael had a variant strain of a bad virus. And then, the doctor, immediately, gave him, a more potent antibiotic for the virus; however Michael is in critical condition. And it is possible, that he might not live much longer as a result of having inhaled the virus over at his office.

This is because the virus is very deadly to anyone whom comes in contact with it, so; then, Michael got taken to the ICU where he got watched very carefully by the doctor and nurses. Also, he, immediately, got put on oxygen, and also, had to be put on a ventilator being he, no longer, could breathe on his own.

Also, the poor guy, also, had to put in quarantine, so it meant that no one, not even any of his friends from the news building or his family of two boys could see Michael at this time until a couple days from now when the antibiotic took full effect on his body.

So, then, the doctor who had driven Michael over to the hospital, then, drove back to the news building, but not before being tested for the virus too being that he had come in contact with the tube which contained the virus from the lab. It’s possible that he too could have inhaled the virus because a leak had been found in the tube.

Back at Michael’s home, his family, his two sons and wife, Shirley, were playing a game when the phone rang. Shirley hadn’t the faintest idea of whom could be on the phone at this time because her husband, Michael, usually never called her while he’s at work being that he’s a very busy guy as a reporter, and usually ends up going all over town, trying to get news stories.

So, Shirley opened up her cell phone, and as she did, she didn’t recognize the voice on the phone and said, “Who is this? Is there something going on over at the news building in New York? Do you have some breaking news for me whom I don’t know about yet?”

“This is the doctor from the New York news building.”

“A doctor,” she said in a surprised voice, “what’s going on? Michael hasn’t been in an accident, has he?”

“I’m afraid that the news is a lot worse, than you would have expected? Your husband, Michael, is in critical condition, and might not live through the night. He’s in a coma at this time, and breathing by use of a ventilator, I’m afraid to say.”

“When can I come to visit him? Is the family allowed to see him at all at this time?”

“No, I’m afraid not, Shirley. Michael is in such bad condition, that no one can see him at this time. He’s in quarantine right now, and has been found out to have some bad strain of virus. And the antibiotics, he’s on are very potent, and might not take affect on him until another day or so. But right now, the nurse is giving the antibiotics through an IV, hoping that his condition will improve faster.”

She didn’t know what to say being she’s speechless at this time. Here she jus was starting to get closer to her husband being he had been very distant towards her and the family. But now his lives on the line, so she felt, she had to see Michael as soon as possible to let him know, how much she and the sons love their daddy.

So, she jus hung up and phone and then, being her two sons saw the worried look on her face, she knew that she couldn’t keep what was going on with their daddy, a secret.

So she said to them, “Now, you guys, I don’t know how to tell you two this without getting you both upset. Your daddy is in the hospital and is in critical condition, so I can’t even go there to see him until the doctor says it’s okay to see him. And your daddy could be dying being that a bad virus is inside him, and he could give it to you if I take you two to see him.”

Neither one of them even responded to her. They jus both started crying, and then, ran right to their rooms, and closed their doors after curling up in bed. They couldn’t take this at all; so their mommy was afraid, that both of them jus might do something crazy. So she ran upstairs, and wouldn’t even allow her sons to be in their rooms alone, and then, when neither one would budge from their rooms, she then, left them alone. She was jus hoping that neither one would think of killing themselves now that both of them knew, that their daddy was very ill and was near death.

In the meantime, over at the New York news building, Paul jus got through searching through Michael’s office which he has been doing for a few hours now. And jus before leaving, he, again, checked inside one of the drawers of Michael’s desk, and this time, he found a decoder. So, now, he jus realized, how Michael decoded the paper, he had originally found inside the tube.

But jus as he’s leaving the office, the telephone rang, his cell phone, so, as he answered it, he’s surprised, that Michael is in the hospital, and has very little time to live. But he can’t be allowed in Michael’s room over at the hospital, because of the danger, he could also contract the virus.

Upon finding out the bad news, he wouldn’t even tell anyone else about the bad news being that anyone, even the newbie reporters of the New York news, could bring him to court for suggesting, that Michael inspect the tube. And as he’s leaving Michael’s office, suddenly, the health department along with the police swarmed into the building. And before he knew it, they all were on top of him as they were reporters, themselves.

The cops were searching him for anything related to the story about his best friend, Michael, being taken to the hospital upon collapsing inside the doctor’s office. But one of the cops found some cocaine which he found in one of Paul’s pockets. So, Paul got arrested right on the spot, and as he was, one of the cops said to him, “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say could be used against you. You have the right to an attorney.

But before he could say one word, immediately, some of the newbie reporters were actually carrying him out of the building, tied up, and before he realized what’s going on, right outside the building, he saw something, he couldn’t believe his eyes.

There, right in the parking lot, he actually saw some vampires before their eyes. He couldn’t figure out what was going on. But one of the vampires looked like Michael. So, it hit him so hard, that he passed out, and had to be rescued from the grass outside the building by one of the vampires which he didn’t know, were vampires at the time.

After the vampire helped him off the ground, then, Michael approached him, and was ready to chew him out. He realized that Paul is responsible for him, becoming a vampire; however Paul jus stood there, and stared at Michael for a few minutes. So he suddenly realized that Michael must have suffered a horrible death in the hospital. And that he came to life again, so that he could get revenge against Paul, for suggesting that he check out that tube with the virus strain inside it.

What is worse, is that Michael’s wife accompanied him, and so, all he could make out, is their faces because the rest of the two, except for their faces, had skin of vampires. This Paul realized as soon as he got helped off of the ground.

Paul’s afraid to try to fight with either Michael or his wife, so he said to them, “How come you two look so different? Did you two die of the virus, and come back to life again?”

So, Michael said to Paul, “I see you figured out what has happened to us. You are the one, who’s responsible for us two dying. So, I don’t think you are going to live much longer, yourself. You don’t know it, but you’ve jus turned pale and that’s why you fell on the ground jus now.”

Paul is speechless, but he’s afraid to get into a fight with Michael. But jus then, Paul has a very shocked look on his face. And he can’t seem to comprehend what exactly is going on. But he’s aware of the fact, that he jus doesn’t feel right, and that he’s too weak to get into any fight with either Michael or his wife. But Michael held out his fist right into Paul’s face, and before he knew it, he’s unconscious. At that Michael started laughing at him and his wife too.

But even though, Paul’s in a coma, he can hear the two laughing at him which is uncommon for a good friend of his to be doing. However being he has a strong will to live, he came out of his coma. And jus after he did, he stood up on his feet, and pulled a shot gun out of his right hand pocket. Right after doing so, he held it out to both Michael and his wife, and before he realized what he’s doing, he shot both of them to death.

So, being the cops were standing around, two of them ran over to Paul, and grabbed him by the arms, placing cuffs on his wrists. At that, he’s arrested for two counts of murder, and before the cops could take him over to the cop car, Paul jus fell on the ground again. And upon one of the cops testing his pulse, he’s stone dead.

And everyone who worked in the New York news building happened to be outside at the time jus after Paul shot down Michael and his wife. And being that this incident placed them all into shock, every one of them jus fell to their deaths with the cops jus walking away, and taking off in their cop cars as if nothing ever happened near the New York news building.

A story about what had occurred over at the New York news building made headlines, that next morning. But no one else from the New York news building, who has been working there along with Michael and Paul, ever found out why Michael and Paul both met their deaths.

But every one of the New York news staff did end up dying from exposure to the substance, the virus which had been inside that tube which Michael had found, that one time inside the lab.

And all those deaths became a mystery to the whole city of New York, even though, the newbies had found out somehow, that Michael and Paul and the rest of the workers had all been exposed to the virus spores from the test tube, that same day on which Michael had brought the test tube inside the building.
