LIVING IN DARKNESS

PROLOGUE:

Martin, till, has been living in a wheelchair jus because he hasn’t been able, yet, to get back the full use of his legs. Although, he has gotten back most of the feeling in his legs, and has, faithfully, going through physical therapy, walking with braces on his legs.

He wanted to continue with his physical therapy because he, still, thought; he could defy all of what those fullerenes have done to his body. The after effects of those drugs, still, are with him, although, they had, already, been taken out of his system through him, having had some surgery for their removal.

And he’s got strong will power to keep fighting to get back his ability to walk every day, day in and day out, until he found, he could walk, normally, again, without the use of a walker. This was jus because he believed it’s possible for him to walk, again, like he used to before that accident which was caused by that tornado storm, some time ago.

Martin and Cherry were going to fight to the end to keep themselves, a couple. Although, she ended up having to become a live-in-nurse jus so she could take care of his every need. And this, mostly, turned out to be because she wanted to commit herself to looking after his well-being. And it turned out to be somewhat of a miracle. That in jus taking care of him, day in and day out, actually, kept bringing the two closer and closer together as a couple.

Then, one day, out of the blue, when he and Cherry were about to take their daily walk in the morning like they have been doing for months on end. He did, somehow, lose his balance, although, he has been using his walker for quite a long time after he survived the tornado storm. And he, now, was to the point, that he thought he could walk on the sidewalk with Cherry, holding, securely, onto his arm without his walker.

But the two didn’t make it even out the front door of the house where she, still, was living with Martin, when he, actually, lost his balance. And then, he ended up falling right onto the carpeted floor dear the front door. And as he was about to try to get himself off of the floor, he found he couldn’t do it even with Cherry’s help. Also, his whole body seemed to be feeling very limp, and he couldn’t even fight this feeling, either which he never has felt before.

Then, his body seemed to sink into the carpeted floor. And then, he was aware of himself, shaking at this time until he seemed to pass out and come to, right away, jus after falling on the floor. And his body was shaking, so bad, that he, actually, was feeling afraid too much to try to get up off the floor, which shaking seemed to continue for, at least, a few minutes. And then, when the shaking, finally, stopped, Cherry was too scared to try and help him off of the floor

So, at this time, Cherry noticed that he was falling asleep right there on the floor. And she didn’t even know what to do being she could sense there was something wrong with him. And she couldn’t even pinpoint at this time, what, really, was wrong with him. Although, she’s a full-fledged live-in-nurse.

So, then, she jus told him, in a frantic voice, “You don’t try to get up, Martin. I’m afraid you’re going to fall down, again. And I can’t even attempt to lift you up off of the floor at this time. This is, although, you’ve stopped shaking. So, if you can hear me, Martin, move your arm.”

So, he was able to move his whole body, however, he couldn’t seem to control his body movements at this time. So, then, he said to her, “My darling, what jus happened to me? All of a sudden, I lost my balance, and before I realized what was going on, I, then, passed out after shaking a lot.”

She said in a frantic voice to him, “I think that you’ve jus had a seizure. And I know for a fact that you never have had any seizures before in your life. Is that right, my dear, Martin?”

“Yes, I guess that seems to be the truth to me at this time.”

“That I don’t know for sure, although, since, I’ve known you all this time. I think that you might have had one or two of these seizures in your sleep. This is because, lately, when I’ve been awakened by you, rocking the bed. I think that you might have had a seizure or two at those times. So, jus lay there on the floor, and don’t try to move. After having a seizure, you aren’t supposed to try to get up because you could lose your balance, again. And then, if you fell down, again, you could, easily, hurt yourself. So, jus lie there on the floor, and I’m going to get you a blanket to put over you and a pillow to slide underneath your head, too.”

So, then, with a puzzled look on her face, she walked into their bedroom. And as she arrived inside that room, she didn’t know what to do other than to try her best to keep herself, calm. And as she was trying hard to do so, she grabbed an extra red blanket, and one of the pillows off the waterbed.

And then, she, quickly, walked back into the living room where he, still, was laying on the floor. And there was no doubt that he’s asleep. So, she jus allowed him to sleep for about an hour or so while she threw the blanket over him. And then, she jus slid the pillow underneath his head.

Jus after doing so, she, then, walked over to the phone on the Oakwood side table near the one side of the leather couch. And as she reached the phone, it seemed to her that there was a weird air about this room. It jus didn’t seem very friendly to her as if some robber was trying to get into the house or like if some ghost was around.

Upon her, picking up the phone, she, then, pressed 911 on the phone. And upon someone answering the phone on the other line, some woman answered the phone, and said to him, “Is there something I can help you with? Is there someone in deep trouble at this time, miss,” as she recognized Cherry’s voice as being a female voice?

“Yes, there’s, surely, something wrong, here. A good friend of mine, Martin, has jus fallen on the floor, and I think he’s had a seizure because he was shaking like a leaf jus a few minutes ago. And right now, he’s sound asleep which I know as being a live-in-nurse for him, is normal to occur right after someone has had a seizure. I, also, took his pulse, and vital signs which seem to be a little low. However, he seems to be very much alive.”

“Okay, jus relax, miss, and don’t be alarmed in any way. Now, what seems to be the matter? Start from the beginning, and be sure to include every little detail if you can remember all of them.””Well, my friend, Martin and I were jus about to take a walk when he fell down. Then, he went into a bad seizure, and then, falls asleep. And he is, still, asleep on the floor. His vital signs seemed to be a little low, however, I’ve jus taken them, again, and they all seem to be normal. I’m a live-in-nurse for him, and I know what’s going on with him, at least, that he’s been starting to have bad seizures. Should I wait ‘til the paramedics get here, or should I jus wait until he awakes. And then, get him to the emergency room.”

“What you should do is leave him, alone, and I’ll send an ambulance out to your house. Where do you live, by chance? Do you, still, live in St. Clair?”

“Yes, I do, I, still, live in that area. In fact, I live by the lake with him, and the hospital should have his records on file. And in one of his files, is our address and directions to get to our house. I’ll be sure to keep a good eye on him until the paramedics arrive here. Is there anything, I should be doing in the meanwhile, like trying to get him to eat or drink anything?”

“Yes, if he’s hungry and thirsty, and hasn’t had any food in a couple of hours, then, I suggest that you give him, some hot coffee. And also, make sure, he’s been taking his medication like he’s supposed to if he’s on any, right now. And give him, something to eat with a high fat content in it, like a sandwich with meat and cheese along with some butter or margarine on it. The high fat content will help keep him from having other seizures for awhile; at least, until the paramedics can get him on some medication which will control seizures. And be sure to keep him warm because after a seizure, the body tends to have trouble, keeping warm due to the shivering which is possible.”

Then, upon hanging up the phone, she was a little puzzled at what to do first. However, she walked right into the kitchen, after checking up on him, making sure his vital signs, still, were normal.

Upon her, arriving inside the kitchen, then, she got some bread out of the bread bin. And then, she opened up the refrigerator, and grabbed some Gator Aid out of there. Then, before making up a sandwich for him, she poured a glass of Gator Aid for him. And then, she walked out back into the living room where he was, now, sitting up. However, he wasn’t attempting to get off of the floor. So, then, she laid a towel down in front of him, and then, gave him, the glass of Gator Aid, making sure, his arm was steady which it, finally, was.

And upon him, taking the glass of Gator Aid from her, he, then, said to her, “Is an ambulance coming for me, Cherry? I know I’ve had seizures, and never have had such a bad one in all my life. And it’s been seeming that I’ve been feeling kind of weak and like I’m going to drop something which I know, I could happen at this time. However, my legs and arms seem to be very steady at this time.”

“Yes, Martin, I have an ambulance, coming to get you. And when the paramedics get here, they will be taking care of you. Also, they will be sure to administer some medicine to you along with your other medicine to stop you from having any more seizures. And I am feeling scared for you, right now, be cause an unexpected seizure can indicate, that you’ve come down with a brain tumor. Now, don’t let me, scare you because I could very well be wrong about this.”

So, then, while Martin, still, was quiet being he has quieted down after what she jus told him, she, then, walked back into the kitchen right after she made sure. That he didn’t drop any of the Gator Aid on the floor, while he was drinking it.

As she reached the kitchen, again, she, then, buttered some bread which she has placed right in front of her on the counter. Then, she placed some meat and cheese inside the bread, and then, gave it to Martin in the living room.

She, then, walked back into the living room, and Martin, eagerly, was waiting for his sandwich along with a cup of coffee. So, he jus about gulped everything down, and jus as he was finishing eating, he started going into other seizures. So, jus at that time, he was lucky that the paramedics had arrived. And as soon as they walked inside the living room, immediately, one of them put an IV into his arm. And the other one got out some medicine, some Keppra and Dilantin. And then, he, quickly, administered it to Martin down through the IV.

And it seemed that almost as soon as the medication was administered to him. That he stopped shaking, although, he was feeling very weak, and couldn’t walk without any help. So, then, the paramedics helped him onto a stretcher. And as they walked out the front door, Cherry followed them. And she walked inside the ambulance jus as Martin was wheeled into the vehicle.

And before Cherry realized what was going on with Martin, the ambulance arrived over at the hospital. And there, quickly, the paramedics found Martin, a bed in the emergency room.

And slid him onto the bed, and immediately, upon the paramedic telling the doctor in charge of Martin, “Martin has had two bad seizures, and I and the other paramedic have administered some Dilantin and Keppra to him.”

Then, the doctor, also, gave Martin, some Morphine through his IV, to help stop the pain which the seizures brought on in him as well as the weakness caused by those seizures in his body. Although, the Dilantin and Keppra were, mostly, responsible for bring keeping his seizures under control.

Then, the doctor asked Martin, some questions, and said to him, while a nurse examined him in the meanwhile, “When did you, first, start having these seizures, that you know of?”

“I, first, starting having one, a few hours ago, and at that time, I, also, was feeling like my face was twitching along with feeling a general weakness throughout my whole body. And also, I was feeling, as though, my arms went limp, and as though, I was about to drop something if I held it in one of my hands.”

“Those symptoms which you have been having are indicative of a brain tumor in your brain. However, we can’t, really, say it’s from that until you have gone through some tests. First of all, you have to go for a CT scan, and an MRI, to make sure that you don’t have any abnormal growth in your brain or anywhere else in your body. And if you do, it’s possible that you could have gotten these genes from your parents. And if you have a brain tumor, the accident you had back a couple of years ago, could have caused some damage in your brain. And that alone, can cause a brain tumor to grow inside your brain.”

“These facts aren’t certain at this time, are they, doctor?”

“No, none of them are certain. First of all, I have to rule out a possible brain tumor, and any other damage which could have been caused by you, having suffered all that turmoil. And this turmoil was brought on by you, getting caught in that tornado storm, back a couple of years ago. So, now, I’ll have a nurse take you to the room where the CT scan and also, the MRI are done. And once, we have the results of these tests. Then, through examine the pictures through a computer, the nurse and I can, then, determine what’s the cause of your seizures and weakness and also, the focal seizures which you have told me about.”

So, then, a nurse walked into the room, and said to him with an uncertain voice, “Now, Martin, I am going to take you right over to the room where the MRI and CAT scan are done. And through the test results, the doctor and I can confirm if you have a brain tumor or not. And what, exactly, is causing your seizures.”

So, then, the nurse and doctor slid him onto a stretcher, and then, the nurse wheeled him down the hall where he didn’t have to wait long for his tests to get done. And in the meantime, Martin’s feeling very scared, because if it turns out that he does have a brain tumor. Then, it’s possible that if it’s big, that even surgery won’t be able to remove the whole thing, although, he agreed to have surgery on his brain, if it will prolong his life.

So, during the MRI, Martin is having a hard time in relaxing because the thought of having a brain tumor, keeps going through his mind. And he’s nervous because he never has had an MRI done before on him, not even that time; he ended up in the hospital after being thrown against those sharp rocks in the river during that tornado storm.

So, he felt somewhat relieved as soon as the two tests were done on him. And as he lay out in the hall, he tried to sleep being that if he could get some sleep. This could help him, in coping with the results of his tests.

And about a half hour later, the nurse, finally, took him back to his spot in the emergency ward. And then, he was given, some more morphine, being he was in pain, yet, however wasn’t sure what, really, was bringing on the pain. For one thing, he has come down with a terrible headache which, seemingly, is causing his whole body to feel pain.

About an hour later, the doctor, finally, came into the area of the emergency ward where Martin, still, was lying on his bed. And the doctor has to wake him up being he’s, still, feel quite sleepy from all that Morphine which the nurse has administered to him, since, he’s been in the emergency ward.

And as the doctor walked over to his bed, he jolted Martin, a little, which seemed to wake him up. So, the doctor figured that now was a good of a time as ever to tell Martin, the bad news about his brain.

So, Doctor Rafferty said to him in a worried voice, “I have looked over the results of your tests and the MRI, clearly, shows this mass, growing in your brain. And I’m sorry to say, that you do have a brain tumor in your brain. But since, you have agreed to having surgery, today, the surgeons can operate on your brain. And the tumor isn’t big enough to cause any problems, once; it is removed through the surgery. So, do you, still, want surgery on your brain?”

“Yes, if it is going to make me, be able to live a normal and longer life, I, really, do want the surgery. I’ve read some pamphlets on the surgery while I’ve been waiting for you to give me, the results of the tests. And I, also, agree to be awake during the surgery. That way, I won’t get worried, easily, about what’s going on with the surgery.”

Then, at that time, one of the surgeons walked into the emergency ward jus as Martin was being wheeled into a room of his own. And the anesthesiologist was there with him to let him know about the anesthesia which he didn’t want unless it was necessary.

But the anesthesiologist told him, “You will need some anesthesia during the surgery, so, here’s a form for you to look over and sign. And once, you sign this form, then, I can give you, the anesthesia. And from that point, then, you can be taken down to the surgery room. And another thing is do you want Cherry to be with you during the surgery?”

“Yes, I do, doctor, please allow her to be with me to help keep me, as calm as possible. I, surely, don’t want to get upset over the whole operation.”

“Okay, then, now, that you have handed me the form, the doctors are here to take you to the surgery room on the next floor. And I will pray for you while you’re being operated on, in fact, Cherry knows about your surgery. So, she will be sure to pray for you, too, that the surgery goes well, and that the tumor won’t grow back after the operation which there is a slim chance of growing back. And in your case, judging from the test pictures, there’s no way, it can grow back because we have excellent surgeons at this hospital. And never has there been a case in which the tumor has grown back after surgery.”

So, then, the surgeons, after the anesthesia was given to Martin, took him down the hall and into the elevator. And in no time at all, he was inside the surgery room, although, he wasn’t aware of being there at the time. And he, definitely, was aware of Cherry, being there with him, though, because he could sense her, being in the room with him.

As soon as the anesthesia took effect on Martin, then, the surgeons started working on him. And first, one of them placed this weird looking circular ruler on his head which he could feel. And a surgeon jus told him that it was there so, that the surgeons could mark on his head where the tumor was to be taken out of his brain.

And from then on, he seemed to lose track of time, although, every so often, one of the surgeons was coining him on what was going on during the surgery. The surgery took about nine hours because it’s a delicate operation.

However, after the operation was done, one of the surgeons told him with much confidence, “Hey, Martin, with Cherry’s and our prayers, your tumor has been, successfully, removed. So, you, now have a good chance of living a normal life like if you never had a tumor in your brain, in the first place.”

“Is there going to be any side effects from the operation or anesthesia?”

“No, you don’t have to worry about side effects because any patient, who we have had in this surgery room for a removal of a brain tumor, never has reported any side effects other than grogginess and maybe a headache or two which, always, have been mild. So, we are going to give you, some more Morphine, or would you like to have some other pain medication for your headaches, should one come up?”

“Yes, I would like to have some other medication for any headaches, which pop up. And I seem to be having one now, so please jus go ahead, and give me, some Morphine. And after that wears off, jus give me, some Motrin or Tylenol for any more which come up. And another thing is that I, no longer, feel any weakness or any other symptoms which I was having, prior, being taken to the hospital after my seizures. And another thing is, am I prone to any more seizures?”

“The answer is yes because you have been through a lot of turmoil from that tornado storm. So, the doctor is going to keep you on that Ativan and along with Dilantin and Keppra because it could kill you if you are taken off any of the medications. It’s not gong to happen to you because we won’t’ take you off these medications for any reason, whatsoever. You could have epilepsy, which didn’t show on the ex-rays, too. So, that’s why you are going to be kept on these meds.”

So, then, upon two doctors wheeling him down the elevator and over to a private room which, now, was ready for him. Cherry, then, stayed with him for about an hour or so, to make sure, he was doing alright, now. She didn’t want him to be alone after had some brain surgery which was a tough one for him to go through.

After about a week in the hospital, he was ready to go back home. So, then, that morning, the doctor handed him, his discharge papers. And Cherry was there over at the hospital in no time at all.

Upon Cherry looking over the discharge papers, she, then, followed the intern as he wheeled Martin in a wheelchair over to where Cherry’s red Impala was at in the parking lot. And then, as soon as they all reached the car, then, the intern helped Martin into the front seat of the car, and closed the door for him.

And then, Cherry hopped into the front seat beside Martin. And as she pulled out of the parking lot after turning the ignition, she was surprised what a nice day, it was outside. It didn’t take long for them to reach their house in St. Clair.

And once, they reached the house, then, Cherry parked the car in the driveway. And then, she helped Martin out of the car, and made sure, that she held onto his hand as they walked through the side door of the house.

As soon as they were inside the house, Martin was kind of hungry and wanted something to eat and drink. As Cherry wouldn’t allow him to get what he wanted, himself, being he needed as much rest as he could get now after having a serious brain operation. Then, Cherry had him lie down on the black leather couch in the living room. And then, she walked into the kitchen, and got him, some coffee along with of his favorite pie which of course, was a diet pie.

So, then, Cherry opened up the refrigerator, and reached inside. And upon her, pulling out his diet apple pie being it’s artificially sweetened. Then, she set the pie on a paper plate for him. And then, she reached into the cupboard, and pulled out some instant coffee. And getting some coffee out of the container, she, then, put a teaspoonful into his favorite mug which was black with a picture of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on it. He collected mugs and shirts and things with Harley-Davidson insignias on them.

So, after pouring some very hot water into the mug from the faucet, she, then, placed some creamer and artificial sweetener into the mug. Then, after stirring the coffee and creamer and sweetener inside the mug, she, then, carefully, carried the hot coffee and pie on its plate right into the living room where he has opened up a white tray with pictures of red and purple flowers on it.

Then, right after she placed the coffee and pie onto his tray, she, then, sat down right next to him while he ate his pie and sipped on his coffee.

And while the two were sitting there on the black leather couch, she, then, said to him upon hearing a knock on the door, “I wonder who in the world could be at the front door. I’m not expecting anyone here at the house, and I know you aren’t either.”

So, then, she jus walked over to the front door, and peaked out the peak hole. And upon looking out the hole in the door, she couldn’t believe her eyes. She has no idea how in the world, Lisa managed to find out where she and Martin were living in St. Clair. And another thing was that how did she get to the house when she lived in a foster home where the owners were forbidding her to come over to the house where she, Cherry, and Martin are living.

BACKFLASH:

Lisa had come back into Martin’s life after, mysteriously, was having survived the tornado storm. Because of the very fact, she had been given some fullerenes, jus before she had been taken to the cemetery to be buried after, mistakenly, having pronounced dead.

And this had happened to her, jus because the fullerenes had placed her body in a low enough temperature. And this had made it possible for her to be able to, barely, stay alive while in the cemetery, underground for some time. And these fullerenes, apparently, had to have been given to her through her IV, jus before she had appeared to have been dead.

There had been a plot against her and Martin at that time, they were in the hospital. This had been right after their bodies had been discovered in a river right in Asheville, North Carolina.

The fullerenes having been found in their bodies at that time had been a part of a carefully planned plot to cripple Martin and to do off with Lisa. This had been planned with such precision at that time. That whoever had been responsible for putting these drugs through their IVs. Apparently, this had been some alien from Mars, some doctor or nurse, who had wanted to do away with both Lisa and Martin, jus because the accused person had wanted them both dead.

This had been because he didn’t want either Martin or Lisa around on earth, anymore. And at that time in which they had, purposely, been given these fullerenes, the alien hadn’t wanted either one to recover from their accidents, jus because he had been against these two, having a loving relationship or even being a part of society.
As far as the plot had gone these fullerenes had to have been given to them, upon having noticed them both had come out of their comas.

PROLOGUE:

Lisa had committed suicide because she had, desperately, wanted to end it all, her turmoil through killing herself with a knife.

And at that time, she had no knowledge of an assignation plot against her and Martin.

She ended her life because of Martin, claiming not to be in love with her, anymore.

At that time, some fullerenes, still, in his system had done much to dim all feelings of love which he used to have for her after he had received these drugs into his body

She had found it quite hard to keep living in this situation. His words hard to take under these pretenses. She had nothing to live for, anymore; she felt she had to get herself out of all that misery of feeling unwanted by him, which had caused her to feel quite bad about her whole life. What had been left of it?

He had ended up having to live in a wheelchair as a result of the tornado storm, having thrown him against some sharp rocks. This had caused him to become an invalid because he couldn’t walk, and had lost all feeling in his legs right after the tornado storm.

Cherry and Martin jus got back together after the brain surgery because jus before Cherry and Martin went into the hospital; the two weren’t speaking to each other. And this was because Cherry suspected that Martin had come down with a brain tumor which she knew at the time, could shorten their lives, together. And then, she didn’t know at the time, how the two could love each other being that a brain tumor could have, greatly, shortened his life.

Cherry and Martin were in true love at this time. And after that brain operation which Martin has gone through, she knew she has to stand by his side all the way even if it happens that his brain tumor, ever, grows back, again. And upon knowing this, Martin was feeling bad for her and also, for himself. And this made him, lose some confidence in himself because he jus knew that in having a brain tumor could have caused him to end up in a wheelchair until the end of his short life.

And at this time, he was using his wheelchair because he has to make sure that he doesn’t have any more seizures. And that the brain tumor doesn’t grow back, and cause him, any more problems in life.

When Cherry and her parents were forced into taking care of him, then, both of her parents along with Cherry, has, originally, taken a live-in-nurse course. And they all have earned their certificates, jus in case; they have to keep taking care of Martin. And being he was back in his wheelchair, partly, because he has jus had a brain operation; this could turn out to be very trying for both Cherry and her parents.

However, since, now, Cherry felt she could take care of Martin, all by herself. Then, her parents did her and Martin, one big favor. So, they made sure, they called over at the house, at least, once, a week. This was, especially, because they had to know how Martin was getting along after his brain surgery which Cherry had told them about upon arriving back at the house, again.

Cherry and her parents were all finished with the live-in-nurse course. So, they all could pitch in taking care of Martin if that ever happened to be true, again. And Cherry knew at this time. That she didn’t need her parents, anymore, to help her, take care of Martin, unless he started having seizures, again. However, he hasn’t been getting any more seizures because he’s on medication for them right now. And he has been staying on his medications like he’s supposed to do.

At this time, Cherry, really, couldn’t understand how Lisa got over at the house. And she wasn’t about to let her inside because she could do anything to try to get Martin back into her life.

So, being that Cherry wasn’t certain if she should allow her inside, Cherry said to Martin, “Guess who I jus saw outside, and thought that she had committed suicide. I saw Lisa outside and I don’t know if I should let her inside this house. What do you think I should do at this time? Do you think I could be imagining this, Martin?”

“Yes, I do, Cherry, and if she’s really there, I don’t want you to let her inside because I jus don’t trust her, anymore. After that time on which she was supposed to have committed suicide, she jus might come after one of us. So, at this time, it’s too dangerous to let her inside this house.”

So, then, Lisa waited about a half hour to see if one of them would let her inside. But in seeing that neither one would let her inside, then, she was about to leave the house.

So, in another half hour, after she knocked on the door, very hard, she, then, got mad. And then, she left for the foster home and on her way, there, she, then, came across the cemetery. In feeling so distraught inside, she then, started flying into the air. Before she knew it, she has landed near her grave.

Then, she walked into her grave, in not being aware of what she was doing.

About a week later, on Halloween night, she, then, was able to sense, that Cherry and Martin never believed that she showed up that one night. And both of them were visiting her grave inside the cemetery. And she was inside the grave at that time. But then, some ghosts and goblins started running through the cemetery. And Cherry and Martin were about to leave when they noticed her, walking out of her grave.

They couldn’t believe their eyes. The grave has jus opened up, and another thing is that dirt has jus blown out of her grave through some eerie wind which has stirred up inside the cemetery.

As Martin and Cherry walked up to her grave, and waited for her to say something to them. Being she hadn’t said a word to either of them, they, then, left the cemetery, that night. This was after them, having said some prayers for Lisa, upon realizing, she was back inside the grave. However, jus as they were leaving, Lisa started following them to their car, the red Chevy Impala. And jus after Cherry and Martin got inside the car, then, Lisa hopped into the trunk which, apparently, opened up and closed by itself.

And all the way back to the house, Cherry’s and Martin’s place, Lisa seemed to live inside the trunk all that time. And as they all arrived at the house, jus as Cherry and Martin walked out of the car, Lisa seemed to be making noise inside the trunk of the car.

So, in thinking she was hearing things, at first, she, Cherry, then, opened up the truck, only, to find Lisa inside. Neither Martin nor Cherry knew what to do at first. But then, they helped her out of the trunk, and then, she followed them into their house.

They didn’t want her to follow them inside. However, Cherry and Martin couldn’t do anything else to keep her outside. So, then, upon Lisa, following them inside, they, then, allowed her to sit down on the leather couch for now. And then, Lisa kept bugging Martin to talk to her because she wanted him, badly, back into her life.

And since, Cherry wouldn’t go for this, any longer, she, then, told Lisa, “What are you doing at the house, now? We didn’t invite you over to our house. What’s the matter, here; did you, by chance, come out of your grave, again?”

“I don’t know how it happened. But I came back to life after having been in my grave, all this time. Or it could be I never was completely dead to begin with. And this has been haunting me, today, ever since; I came out of my grave through sleepwalking. Do you mind, Cherry, if I have something to eat and drink? I’m very hungry and thirsty for being in that grave, all this time.”

“I think that you should go to a hospital, and get checked out by a doctor, now, Lisa. I can’t allow you to stay here with us because you might, then, interfere with our relationship. So, both Martin and I are going to take you there. And one of us, at least, will stay with you until we find out what’s going on, if you, really, are alive or not. Or if you jus came back from dead being that it’s Halloween, tonight. What I am saying I that you could just be ghost of Halloween, and none of us even know this.”

She didn’t want to go to so hospital; again, however, Cherry talked her into going there. And so, then, Cherry and Martin led her back to their car. And once, more they all were off to the hospital which Martin, really, didn’t dig being he has jus come home from there from having his brain operation.

So, upon them all arriving over at the hospital, the doctors checked Lisa over. And she was alright except that she needed fluids and some food in her stomach. So, then, she was hooked up to an IV, and she was, also, given vitamins because some blood tests showed. That she was dehydrated along with being close to having a blood condition which she could die from if she isn’t treated for it, right away.

So, then, Cherry and Martin didn’t have any choice, however, but to stay with Lisa for a couple of hours. And then, they ended up staying there, overnight, and didn’t dig doing so because Martin is supposed to be getting much needed rest.

However, in the morning, Cherry and Martin jus finished breakfast when they found out, that Lisa could be discharged from the hospital. So, then, Lisa took her own papers, and then, Cherry dropped her off at the foster care home where she was living.

And no one would even answer the door, at first, but then, a woman in her fifties, Laura went to the front door of a house which has, really, seen its’ years. And then, she took Lisa inside, and fed her while Martin and Cherry left in the Impala back to their house.

Now, that Lisa knows where Martin and Cherry are living, that very night, when everyone was sleeping. She, daringly, snuck out a bedroom window, and did so through sliding some rope out a window. And then, she sneakily slid down the rope.

Then, she, somehow, managed to hitchhike over to the house, where Cherry and Martin were living.

Cherry and Martin jus were ready to crawl into the bed, and then, they heard someone knocking on the front door. And neither of them wanted to get up at first, however, in not knowing who could be there, Cherry walked over to the front door. And then, in seeing that it was Lisa, there, she didn’t want to let her inside the house. And neither did Martin because he wasn’t in love with her, anymore. At least, he was feeling that way at the time.

So, then, Lisa managed to crawl through a window which was open. And then, upon walking inside the bedroom, she scared both Martin and Cherry. Neither of them knew what to do so then, one of them called over at the foster home. And then, which made the situation worse, was that Laura wouldn’t take Lisa in, anymore, at the house. So, now, Martin and Cherry were stuck with Lisa, and didn’t know where to drop her off as her parents were living in North Carolina.

Then, Cherry was so tired, that she ended up sleeping in the bedroom all by herself. And then, Martin walked into the living room, and he made Lisa, sleep on one of the couches which were not made out of leather. He took the leather couch for himself.

And as he was about to lie down on it, Lisa, then, said to him, trying to bug him with Cherry, overhearing her in the bedroom, “Now, my Martin, if you have ever said that you’re in true love with Cherry,” who doesn’t believe a word, she says. “This is because there’s no way, you two can be in true love; it’s the kinds of love which is only brotherly and sisterly love. You, Martin, have been lying about being in true love with Cherry. Cherry even told me this last time, I was over at the house. Me, Lisa, am the one, who’s in love with you, not Cherry; get this through your thick skull.”

So, then, Cherry said to Lisa in a puzzled voice, “I think that you were discharged from the hospital, too soon. And I know for a fact, that neither the doctor nor any of the nurses at the nurses’ station, made any effort to call over at the foster home where you are living at this time.”

Then, Martin said to her, “I think it’s time we all get to bed, and then, in the morning, if we think it’s necessary. Cherry and I or at least one of us is going to call over at the foster home where you have been living. And we are going to try to find out if any of the owners of that house, are aware of you even being over at our house at this time. And then, Cherry and I are going to try to convince one of the owners to come and get you, here, at the house. There’s no way either Cherry or me are going to allow you to stay at this house.”

So, then, without another word being Lisa was feeling very tired, all of a sudden, she, finally, plopped herself on the couch. And upon noticing that she has fallen asleep, Martin and Cherry decided to go to sleep, themselves. And Martin, really, didn’t like the idea of sleeping in the living room to have to watch over Lisa. So, then, he joined Cherry in their bedroom, and in no time at all, they were ready to fall asleep.

However, because Cherry is feeling in the mood for making love, Martin figured that now is a good of a time as any to do it.

So, then, Martin said to Cherry in a loving voice, “Let’s, really, get into making love, tonight because it’s been a couple of nights, since, we have had a chance to do it. And I’ll lock the bedroom door, so that Lisa can’t try to get into our bedroom while we are making love.”

“Making love sounds good to me, Martin. In fact, I’m so horny that it’s driving me crazy at this time.”

So, then, Martin got up out of bed being he was lying beside Cherry. And he walked over to the bedroom door, and made sure, the door was locked. And then, although, he, still, was feeling a little tired from having that brain operation. He, then, decided that he was going to make love to Cherry, anyways. And he, still, has to be careful to make sure, that he doesn’t overdo it, this time being he has had an operation.

Then, he crawled back into bed besides Cherry. And the two were about to make love when Cherry felt kind of suspicious of Lisa being there at the house. And then, she didn’t want to take any chances of allowing Martin to make love to her. And this was, mostly, because he was supposed to be resting for about a week or so after his operation.

So, then, she said to him, in a frantic voice, “Do you, really, think that we should be making love, tonight? I know that the surgeons removed every bit of the tumor from your brain. However, I don’t think that we should be making love, yet. Let’s give it, a few more nights, and then, we can start making love, again. So, good night, Martin, and be sure to have a good night’s sleep. In fact, I set a sleeping pill on the dresser for you in case you happen to need it.”

“Good night, my darling Cherry, and sleep tight.”

Cherry fell right to sleep. However for some odd reason; Martin found that he couldn’t seem to get himself to settle down to sleep. So, then, he got up off the bed, very carefully, as not to awake Cherry. And then, he walked over to the dresser, and took the sleeping pill with a glass of water which she left on the dresser.

Then, he walked over to the bed, and crawled back into the bed. And upon pulling the covers over him, he, then, managed to fall into a fitful sleep. At least, the sleeping pill helped him sleep through the night into the morning.

And then, when the morning came around, Cherry was the first one to awake. And then, upon her, walking into the living room, she was surprised to find Lisa, awake, already. So, then, she didn’t want Lisa, helping herself to anything, she wanted to eat. So, then, Cherry brought a bowl of cornflakes over to her and set it on a tray. And there, right in the living room, she ate the cereal with a cup of coffee.

After she was done eating, Cherry and Martin, both, had something to eat, themselves. Since, neither one felt like cooking up some eggs nor anything, both of them, also, had some cereal.

And after Martin was done eating, he cleaned up the mess; they left in the dining room. Also, he had to go get Lisa’s bowl, and cup, along with the other dishes. And then, upon walking into the kitchen, and setting all of them in the sink, he then, walked back into the bedroom where Cherry was at this time.

Cherry stayed inside the bedroom at this time jus because she knew, he was going to call over at the foster home where Lisa lives. And he was going to try to find out something on Lisa. And if one of the owners of the house, were going to come over to the house, to pick up Lisa.

So, then, upon pressing the numbers on the phone near the bed, an older woman in her fifties, jus happened to answer the phone. And as Martin got her on the phone, he said to her, “Did you know that Lisa’s missing? I don’t know how she got here at the house in St. Clair where I am living with my future wife. However, it’s apparent that she has come back from the dead. And I would like someone to come and get her and bring her back home. Will you or someone else please come over to get her?”

“This is real shocking to me because I had the impression. That Lisa was dead too, however, when she had committed suicide, apparently, it wasn’t true that she killed herself. So, this is going to be a trying time for me, however, I am going to come right over and pick her up. I’ll assume that she’s been in a hospital, lately, so, I won’t worry about taking her, there.”

“She’s jus walked into the bedroom where I and my girl, Cherry, are at. And I don’t know how she got in here. I’m wondering if she’s a ghost because the door was locked. And another thing is that she has some marks on her arm, and I think you should confront her about this because she could be using drugs. So, I suggest that you take care of her and make sure, she gets the right treatment for using drugs which I have found here at the house, some pot.”

So, then, the woman didn’t say another word. She jus hung up the phone, and then, she had to say to her residents, “I think I have a real problem on my hands. Lisa has come back from the dead, twice, and she need to be taken over to the halfway house jus a couple streets away. And while I’m taking here, there, you, Laura, please watch over the other residents because I can trust you to watch over them. And if any emergency comes up, please feel free to call me on my cell phone. The number is up on a piece of paper in the kitchen cabinet. See you all later.”

So, then, the woman left out the front door, and she was feeling very frustrated because she never has trusted Lisa at any time. And upon her, arriving at her blue Cadillac, parked in the driveway, she was surprised how it was starting to snow outside. But this didn’t stop her from hurrying into her car, and taking off to Martin’s and Cherry’s house after turning the ignition.

So, then, she took off down the driveway and out onto the streets of St. Clair with much speed. And on the way to the house, she, almost, got stopped by some cops. However, upon seeing her with her seatbelt on, the cops’ jus sped by her, and continued on down the street until they stopped at the corner of the street. There, they stayed for awhile trying to catch a speeder or two, or maybe someone having got into an accident around the area.

Upon the woman from the foster home, arriving over at the house, she pulled into the driveway behind the Chevy Impala. And then, she, practically, jumped out of her car, and rushed over to the front door which was open. So, then, she jus walked inside the house, and walked over to Lisa who was sitting on a couch in the living room, watching some television.

At first, Lisa wasn’t aware of the woman being in the living room, because she was daydreaming. But as soon as she approached Lisa, she, suddenly, was alerted to her presence.

Then, the woman said to Lisa, in a stern voice, jus as Cherry and Martin arrived inside the living room after having done some loving touching with each other in their bedroom, that morning, “So, I hear that you have been using some drugs, lately. Where in the world did you get them from? Did someone over at the hospital, offer you some drugs when you were taken there right from where Martin and Cherry found you?”

“I’ll tell you, the truth; neither Martin nor Cherry use drugs. So that means that I got the drugs from someone who happened to be inside the hospital at the time in which I was being checked out after I came back from the dead. What is it that you want to do about this? Are you going to take me somewhere to get straight, is that it?”

“Yes, that’s exactly where I’m going to take you. In fact, I hope that you have some clothes with you because you jus might be there for a few months. However, I’ve brought some of your clothes with me, so come-on, my girl. Come with me, and get into the car. I am going to get you straightened out, again. But I don’t know if they treat ghosts over at the halfway house. However, I am going to take you there, anyways.”

Lisa was so puzzled that she didn’t even say one word. And Martin and Cherry were so pleased to see Lisa, leave. That neither one of them even said goodbye to her. They jus said to the woman, “Thank you for taking your time to come and get her. And I jus hope that they will be able to do something for her over at the halfway house because, surely, neither Cherry nor I knew what to do about her.”

Since, Lisa has been to the hospital, jus before the woman left with her, Martin said to her, “Don’t forget one thing, here, Lisa, and don’t forget that I don’t love you, anymore. And it’s, only, because you haven’t been in my life in a long time. And I am having a good relationship with Cherry, and we are planning on maybe having some children, some day. In jus knowing that you’re alive, again, won’t bring my love for you, back again.”

So, then as Lisa and the woman were walking out the front door, Lisa turned her head, and gave Martin, this weird and sly look, like if she wasn’t going to give up on him, anyways.

And then, Lisa and the woman got inside the car, and she, really, took off for the halfway house which wasn’t too far away. And the woman was going to make sure; she won’t cause any trouble while she is being taken over there, even if she has to drag Lisa over there to the halfway house.

On the way, there, Lisa seemed to be very quiet, mostly, because she didn’t like the idea of being taken to a halfway house. And the day was kind of gloomy and rainy which didn’t seem to help her mood any, either.

However, Cherry and Martin were feeling a lot better, now, that they figured, Lisa was out of their life for good. At least, now, being she would be over at that halfway house for a long time. That she couldn’t get away from, there, either, being that there were, always, protective fences around the place. And that way, Lisa shouldn’t be able to get away from, there, either, at any rate.

So, once, Lisa and the woman, one of the owners of the house, Laura, arrived at the halfway house. The woman pulled her car into the parking lot, there.

And to Lisa, the atmosphere of the place, made her, feel kind of creepy inside.

She’s never been to one before, however, she jus knew, that in being a ghost. That she might be treated well at this place because the doctors over at that place, jus might be able to sense that she, really, was a ghost. That was if any of them, even the caretakers, there, ever found out, she came back from the dead, then, she, surely, would be come a misfit over there even to the other patients, already, living there.

So, then, the woman had to pull Lisa out of the car because she wouldn’t get out of it, willingly. However, once, Lisa was out of the car, since, a doctor was outside to meet her and Laura. He signaled another doctor through one of the spooky windows, to come outside. And the other doctor could sense what he wanted.

So, the doctor walked over to a supply room, not far from where he was at. And once, he was inside the room, he knew, exactly, what the other doctor wanted him to get. And in the meanwhile, Lisa was growing very impatient, and was ready to flee back to the car. However, she has any chance to do that, before she realized what was going on, a doctor came running out of the halfway house with a straight jacket in his arms.

Then, the woman motioned the doctors over to the car. However, jus as the doctor came outside of the halfway house; he and the other doctor grabbed Lisa by the arms. This was so that she couldn’t get away from them. As they did, she was starting to scream, so, once, the doctors along with Laura’s help got Lisa back to the car. The doctors, actually, shoved her onto the back seat of the car while Laura jus stood, there.

And then, while Laura and the other doctor were holding Lisa down on the seat, the other doctor brought out a needle which to Lisa, seemed to appear from nowhere. And then, he gave her, an injection of Haldol which, immediately, calmed her down. Although, she was crying because she didn’t like what was going on.

Then, the doctors carried her over to the halfway house while the woman, Laura, opened the door for them. And then, she followed the doctors while they took Laura to one of the rooms where there was a vacant bed for Laura. And there, as soon as the doctors laid Lisa down on a bed, she seemed to go out like a light.

So, then, as to not wake her up or any of the other patients who were in straight jackets, one of the doctors motioned Laura over to his office. And once there, then, he tried to explain what she would have to accomplish to not be stuck at the place for too long of a time.

So, the doctor, trying to be patient, said to Laura, “Now, exactly, tell me the main reason or reasons why you decided to take her over to the halfway house, here. And please tell me, everything, you can about the situation. So, that the information can be written down in her records, here. And so that she receives the right treatment besides receiving shots of Haldol, to make sure, she stays calmed down if she ever becomes all hyped up inside, again.”

“Well,” she told the doctor, “Lisa, apparently, has come back from the dead, at least, two times. And then, she was going through so much turmoil, that she started taking drugs behind my back. I’m not sure if it’s, really, pot, that she’s been hooked on, although, I’ve, recently, found some of it near her bed on the floor. So, I’ll assume that is one of her main problems, right now.”

“Okay, you can leave, now, and another thing is, that I don’t know, exactly, how long it’s going to take for her to get through the program. However, once, she’s put through a detox program, I’m sure; she’ll never want to be on pot, ever again. And when the time comes that she’s done, here, are you, going to come, here, to pick her up?”

“Yes, I will take the responsibility of picking her up, doctor. Well, I’d better be going because I have a lot of business to take care of, today. And I have to get back to the house to give the other residents, their medicine. By the way, Lisa’ medicine is right here on the desk where I’ve just put it, right here, in the bag.”

Laura wasn’t aware that Lisa wanted to move back to North Carolina. However, there was no way she would have of getting there, anyway, to be back with her parents. And for one thing, her parents have no idea what’s been going on with Lisa because none of the owners of the foster home, have her phone number, anywhere.

Lisa doesn’t have the phone number, anymore, for Martin’s and Cherry’s house. So, she won’t be able to phone any of them over at their house.

Neither Cherry nor Martin even knew that Lisa was in a halfway house, now. And Lisa didn’t like it, there, at all at the place. So, then, that same night, she was being a good girl, and the doctor, still, has someone, a caretaker, keeping an eye on Lisa. However, that same night, being no one knew she was a ghost, now, she had a good plan of getting out of that house. So, when she noticed, later on, that night, that everyone was asleep, that’s when she planned to pull something on the doctors and caretakers, there, at the halfway house.

One thing was that Laura, one of the owners of the house which Lisa has been living in for some time, by accident, got Lisa, admitted to the halfway house. She didn’t even go to the police about the drug situation, and it jus so happened that Lisa was accused of having pot in her possession under false pretenses.

So, then, that night, Lisa jus knew that she has to get out of that halfway house, or it’s going to drive her, crazy. So, she, quietly, went over to a supply room where she knew some rope was kept. And as she arrived in that room, no one seemed to be around that area to catch her. If there was anyone around, no one was aware that she was inside the supply room.

She jus grabbed some rope, and rushed over to the nearest window which was in the supply room. After, carefully, opening up the window, she, then, tied the rope around the metal part of the shelves which holds them all together. And after doing so, she, again, checked around, and could see no one. Then, she walked back into the supply room, and upon going over to the opened window, she, then, flipped the rope outside the window. This was so that the rope was hanging down to the ground.

So, then, upon hanging herself out the window, grabbed the rope. And in holding the rope, tightly, she slid down the rope until she reached the ground. And then, being she’s a ghost, she, then, with a sheet over her head, flew into the air until she got near the house where Cherry and Martin are living.

And as she arrived at the house, she, then, coming from the lake, walked over to the house. And then, she jus happened to see an open window, however, she couldn’t even fit through it because it wasn’t opened but a crack. So, then, she tried again, and this time, she went right through the window, and then, landed on the bedroom floor.

She couldn’t believe her eyes as neither Cherry nor Martin was inside the bedroom at this time. So, she jus then, lay on the bed with the sheet, still, over her. However, upon hearing some footsteps nearby, she, then, took off the sheet which fell on the floor. And then, suddenly, was invisible, although, she had some other clothes on. She had brought some belongings with her. So, then, she, upon changing into human form, had some of those clothes on at this time.

Upon hearing Martin, walking inside the bedroom, she was so invisible to him. That she, actually, pulled her sheet over her jus in case, for some odd reason, he could see her. In having some clothes on, had made her, take on her normal body.

As Martin approached the bed, ready to crawl into it for the night, he was very surprised to see Lisa, lying on the bed. And she appeared, as though, she was starting to fall asleep. So, Martin didn’t know what to do because he thought, he was daydreaming at first. So, then, because Cherry was inside the living room, watching some television. Then, Martin decided to tell her what he jus saw in their bedroom.

So, Martin walked back into the living room, still, feeling like he was in a state of shock. He hated to interrupt Cherry at this time. However, he had to find out if he was daydreaming about seeing Lisa in their bedroom. Or if she, really, was lying, right there, on their bed.

He said to her with much surprise in his voice, “Cherry, dear, you won’t believe what I jus saw inside our bedroom. I don’t know if I was jus imagining it, or if Lisa, actually, is in there, lying on our bed.”

“Oh no, you must be kidding! Don’t tell me that she’s trying to move into our house. She might be trying to take advantage of either one of us. However, I’m not going to believe this unless I see it with my own eyes.”

So, then, both Cherry and Martin walked over to their bedroom. And once, they both were inside it, they couldn’t believe their eyes because Lisa, really, was on their bed to what Cherry could see. However, for some odd reason, Martin wouldn’t believe that Lisa was, still inside the bedroom because for the very reason. That neither one of them could even see Lisa on the bed because she was invisible at this time.

Because they both came to the conclusion, that Lisa must be lying there on the bed, and be a ghost, then, both Martin and Cherry were afraid to hop onto the bed.

So, then, Martin said to Lisa, in being able to feel her presence in the bedroom, “Lisa, what in the world are you doing in our bedroom? What is it that you want with me and Cherry? Are you trying to tell us, something, that you don’t like living in a foster home, anymore? Well, we can’t allow you to live, here, in our house because I have a feeling. It jus wont work out between the three of us.”

“And another thing is that you can’t jus come over here any time, you please because this is mine and Cherry’s home. And the two of us are trying to have a relationship with each other. It’s bad enough that Martin has had to live in a wheelchair after that tornado storm. However, although, he has back the use of his legs, any time, he could have a setback. And then, have to live in that wheelchair, again. So, what brings you here to our house?”

“For one thing, will you leave the bedroom for now, Cherry? Because what I have to say is between me and Martin. So, do you mind leaving the bedroom, Cherry?”

“If you’re trying to haunt us, here, in our house, we are going to have to get a priest to get all the ghosts and demons out of our house. However, if you are going to be able to live with us on good terms. Then, we might take you in as a resident and good friend, here, at the house as long as you don’t interfere with me and Martin.”

So, then, Cherry left the bedroom, although, she was against leaving Lisa alone with Martin. And while the other two were talking, she decided to go back into the living room and watch some more television.

Then, Lisa said to him with a flirtatious voice, “For one thing, I was over at the halfway house, tonight. However, I left that house out an open window because I never was on dope to begin with, although, the woman who runs the foster home, thought otherwise. And I know for sure that she won’t take me back into the home, anymore. So, now, I have no place to live except for at this house unless one of you can find me, another place to live.”

“C’mon now, Lisa, I bet you didn’t even try to call back over at the home, did you? Even if you have, already, called over there, please try, again, because Cherry and I know you are a ghost. And we jus can’t live with having any ghosts or demons in this house, for that matter.”

Now, I’m not trying to bribe either one of you but I’m not a ghost, anymore, like you, originally, thought. I, only, became a ghost until I arrived, here, at the house. I know for sure that both of you can see me. So, there’s no way, I can even be in form of a ghost, anymore. I jus never have been able to live as one even the first time; I had come out of my grave.”

“What do you expect us to do, now? Will you promise not interfere in my and Cherry’s relationship if we allow you to live, here?”

“I cannot say for sure however, I know something’s about both of you, that have, always, been true from the first time, I’ve run into both of you, ever since, I found out you two were living together without Cherry’s parents.”

“What is it; you’re trying to tell me, now? Please explain the whole situation in better words to me. So, I and Cherry can decide if we can allow you to live with us, and have the other bedroom to yourself.”

“Well, for one thing, which I have known along is true, is that… Well, I’m not trying to bribe either you or Cherry for that matter. I’m haven’t been trying to make either of you think at any time. That neither of you love each other. I am, fully, aware that the two of you are in love. However, you and Cherry need to talk this over, and figure out if you two, really, are in true love.”

“What are you trying to tell me? That I never loved Cherry.”

“No, I’m not trying to lie to you. I’m jus trying to tell you, the facts. What I’m trying to get across to you and Cherry, is that what the two of you have been experiencing all along is jus like family love. And, although, the two of you have survived love, this long, there’s no telling what the future holds for the two of you.”

“What I think is that Cherry and I have a good future, together.”

“Listen to me, Martin; I’ve fallen head over heels with you jus because you came down with a brain tumor.”

“But that brain tumor has been removed, and now, Cherry and I have been living a very close one, together.”

“You’ve got to face reality; Cherry never has been in true love with you at any time, although, she thinks its true love. She jus has sisterly love for you at this time. And you must face the fact that in you two, living together like you have, might not work out in the future. You, still, have genes of having a brain tumor. And Cherry couldn’t possibly love any guy, not even you, jus because you possess the genes of a brain tumor.”

“C’mon now, Lisa, she is the kind of person who loves me for whomever I am.”

Jus then, Cherry walked into the bedroom, and now, can see Lisa, lying on the bed and isn’t mistaken about seeing her, either.

So, right in front of Cherry, Lisa then, said to both of them, “Cherry is crazy if she thinks she loves you; face it, Cherry. What are you going to do when he dies on you? He doesn’t have much time to live, and after he dies, you are going to be all alone, and one lonely person, at that.”

“Is that so, Lisa; he’s handsomer than he’s ever been. And more than you could ever imagine a guy being, since, you never had a boyfriend. You can’t jus lay judgment on either of us for that matter.”

Then, since, after that night on which Cherry and Martin decided to allow her to live with them, Lisa started being a problem to both of them. In fact, at times, being that the two were seeing to it, that she received more clothes from them, she, then, grew more of a buddy to Martin like she used to be before she died the first time.

For one thing, since, Martin did end up living in a wheelchair, again, Lisa kept flirting with Martin, day and day out. And she has convinced him to the extent, that he thinks she’s the one for him, instead of Cherry. However, he doesn’t want to tell Cherry this because it could drive her away from him.

Also, in the morning when he wanted to go for his walks, Lisa wouldn’t allow Cherry to take him for any walks. This was because she was starting to be dominating to Martin, and thinking she was SUPERRWOMAN. She, then, kept telling Cherry that she would take him on his daily spin jus so that she wouldn’t tire herself out, and not be able to do the rest of her job as being his live-in-nurse.

Then, one night when Cherry happened to fall asleep on the couch after having a tiring day and night, taking care of Martin. Then, being Martin has been lying in the bedroom for about an hour, and couldn’t fall asleep, she, then, became pushy and entered the bedroom without Cherry knowing about it.

Upon catching Martin, lying on the bed, and being that Cherry hasn’t been able to have any success in getting him to make love to her anymore, since, he has ended up in a wheelchair, Lisa took advantage of him.

Upon entering the bedroom, Lisa was dressed, properly; however, she has the feeling inside that Martin needs company at this time. So, then, she said to him, “Martin, I have to tell you, something, I think I have fallen in love with you. So, how do you feel about me?”

“I think that you’re a nice person, however, I can’t say that I’m in love with you because Cherry and I have been in love for years. And I know that can’t change between us. So, you are jus going to have to live with this. And if you don’t like it, you can move out and find yourself another place to live.”

“What I think is that I can sense, right now, that you want to make love to me. And I’m sure I could make love better than Cherry ever could, is that right?”

“I guess that’s true jus because she, always, seems to be tired by the time, night comes along. And it’s a trying job for her, having to take care of me like she has been doing. And another thing is that the love, you have been experiencing for Cherry, has turned into false love. I can jus feel this inside me at this time. So, what do you want to do about it?”

“I don’t know what I’m going to do about it. She, always, has been a good lover; however, I haven’t been able to get her to make love with me, anymore. So, this has caused me to feel like I’m less of a man.”

This causes him to fall in love with her, again. And then, he started to think that he never loved Cherry in the first place.

And Cherry isn’t helping the situation through trying to convince him. That there is no way, he can keeps Cherry because of his brain tumor being it has started to grow back. And he can’t sense this, although, Cherry and Lisa have been able to do so. There’s no way he can keep Cherry as a lover because of her, having to wait on him, hand and foot.

Although, Lisa has been a big help in helping him out too, especially, in taking him for his stroll in his wheelchair, every morning. And Martin, finally, has given into Lisa, taking care of him because Cherry can’t seem to keep up with looking after him, anymore. It has become too much of a job for her jus because she can’t keep being a live-in-nurse, and at the same time, take care of his other needs like having a loving woman for a girlfriend.

So, then, as Lisa approached him, one night, he, then, said to her, “My Lisa, my Lisa, I believe I am falling in love with you, again. And this time, I’m sure of my love for you jus because I know I can feel it in my heart. It’s like it was, always, there to begin with, and in having Cherry for a friend, has blinded me, all this time, in to thinking she was the one I loved, not you. However, I’m sure and true to my heart, that I, really, love you, my dear Lisa. So, what is it that you have on your mind, tonight?”

“For one thing, I know I haven’t told you, this in a long time. However, I’m feeling a lot of love for you two right from my heart. So, I’ve gotten to the point that I feel that I need to show you all this love I have been having for you. So, are you going to make love to me, tonight, or is this jus going to be another night, that you fall asleep, and jus leave the rest of your life, fade away into the darkness?”
“I’m not going to allow my life to fade away before me. I know I’ve, only, got about a year to live before I die. So, please make me, feel like a man so that I am able to live longer than this. And also, keep praying for me that my next surgery will erase that brain tumor, forever, although, I have been having my seizures and times of falling down which have been plentiful.”

So, then, Lisa didn’t say another word to him. She jus hopped into the bed with him after checking that Cherry was; still, sound asleep in the living room. So, then, the two of them, Martin and Lisa started getting into kissing each other. And the two continued kissing for at least another half hour. And after the two got into some French kissing, then, the two started touching each other all over.

Soon, they reached the point where they started taking off each other’s clothes. And before they realized it, the two were making love which seemed to last about a half hour.

And after they were done, she, almost, fell asleep besides him. However, she didn’t want this to happen being that she didn’t want Cherry to find out that the two of them have made love, that night.

So, upon Martin pulling the covers over himself, he jus fell asleep. And then, she sneaked out of the bedroom, and quickly, entered her own bedroom. And she jus didn’t sleep in her clothes because she, usually, never does. So, she changed her clothes and put on her nightgown. And after doing so, she fell right asleep because it was about one o’clock in the morning by the time she was ready for bed.

In the morning, Cherry happened to have heard Lisa, walking around inside the house at about one o’clock in the morning when she, finally, went to bed after getting Martin to make love to her.

So, then, Cherry walked into the bedroom where Martin was, still, lying in bed. However, he was awake and about to get out of bed, himself.

Upon seeing Cherry walked inside the bedroom with a curious look on her face because she was wondering why Martin allowed her to sleep in the living room without coming to get her.

So, then, she said to Martin, with that curious look, still, on her face, “Hey, Martin, I think I jus happened to hear Lisa, walking around the house, early this morning about one o’clock in the morning. I think that she may have been sleepwalking, and neither of us even knew about it.”

He said back to her, also, in a curious voice, “I think she may have been sleepwalking however, did she by chance wake you up, this morning with her sleepwalking?”

“There’s no doubt in my mind, that she had been sleepwalking, last night, because I heard her, walking around the house about early morning. Do you know, by chance, what she was up to at that time in the morning?”

“No, I don’t know what you’re referring to, my darling Cherry?”

“I know that you’re trying to hide something from me because you’re, usually, a late sleeper, yourself. Did Lisa, by chance, walk into our bedroom, and talk you into something which you can’t tell me about at this time?”

“Well, I can’t lie to you, my darling. So, Lisa figured she wanted to pull something on me and you jus because she had trouble sleeping last night. In fact, she was one who had been walking around the house early this morning. Not only that, but she, really, acted like the sly one, last night.”

“What do you mean by ‘the sly one’, Martin? She hasn’t been up to something, has she?”

“Apparently, she has, and while you were sleeping on the couch in the living room, being I didn’t want to wake you up. She, then, walked right inside our bedroom like she owned our bedroom.”

“She was acting sly, then, wasn’t she?”

“Yes, I can say that she was. In fact, jus because knew, that I had been in the living room, last night, trying to get you to join me in here, she, then, started, really, acting sly towards me.”

“Then, what did she do to you, Martin?”

“Lisa, then, upon walking into our bedroom, wasn’t about to leave me, alone. She started acting like she owned me. And then, she tried to tell me that neither of us loved each other, anymore. And that you, really, didn’t love me, anymore, because our love between each other was, only, the type of love that doesn’t become true.”

Then, what did Lisa do that you didn’t like about her?”

She, then, forced me to have some type of drug, and she jus shoved it into my mouth. And the next thing, I knew, she had crawled right into our bed. And I couldn’t have been responsible for my actions at that time because whatever she gave me, made me, feel drunk as a skunk.”

“And then, what happened between you and Lisa?”

“I don’t remember, exactly, what went on between us, however, I do remember her, flirting with me. And the next thing, I knew, when I was ready to fall asleep, she then, forced me to give into her. And then, she talked me into wanting to leave you, and then, it was like she had put a spell on me. She then, waited until that drug, whatever is was, to work on me which made me, so sleepy. And then, I was, completely, unaware of what was going on between me and Lisa.”

“Do you want me to force her to come into this bedroom, right now?”

“Yes, I do however I doubt that she is going to tell us, the truth, because I don’t remember anything that happened after her, giving me, that drug.”

“Well, I’ll be darned; there’s some pot, lying on the dresser over here. That must be what she gave you, probably, to stun all pain inside you which you have been having from your brain tumor. And then, so she could take over without you, knowing what really, are going on.”

So, then, Cherry was so mad at Lisa and not at Martin, that she stormed out of the bedroom. This made Martin somewhat angry; however, a few minutes later, Lisa was walking into the bedroom with Cherry.

So, Cherry said to her in feeling anger, boiling up inside her, “Now, Lisa, I want you to tell me and Martin, what you were up to, last night. I’ve found some pot, right here, on the dresser, and I know you are into smoking pot, again. And now, you’re trying to force Martin into the habit. He jus told me that he didn’t remember anything after you gave him, the pot. So, tell me and him, the truth; I want to know the truth, right now. Because if you don’t say anything about what you were up to, last night, you’ll be out on the streets, right away.”

“Well, I don’t know if you, Cherry, are going to want to hear anything what I’m about to say to you and Martin. However, last night, I knew that you were sleeping in the living room, and didn’t wake up to come into the bedroom to sleep with Martin.”

“What happened next, now, Lisa; and no matter how much it hurts inside, I want you to tell me, everything, you can remember about last night.”

“Well, upon me, coming inside the bedroom, I, then, convinced Martin. That what love you had for him, and what love he had for you, was false love. Then, I crawled into bed with him, making him, think that in having a brain tumor. That he was feeling less than a man, and that he needed me to make love to.”

“Then, what happened after you went ahead and gave him, some pot?”

“Then, after giving some of my pot, I talked him into making love with me. And then, after the two of us made love. I then, sneaked over to my bedroom, and then, went to bed about one o’clock in the morning.”

“Well, so help me,” said Cherry in an angry voice, in not being a bit angry at Martin for making love to Lisa, “I want you to get out of this house, right away, and I don’t want any excuses about doing so. I am going to call over at the foster home, right away, and if they don’t want to take you back. Then, you’ll have to go to the nearest shelter, and from there, social services will have to find you, a place to live.”

“No, no, you can’t do this to me, Cherry. You and Martin are very good friends to me, and I don’t want to end up out on the streets.”

“Well,” said Martin, “you should have thought about that before you conned me into having some pot, last night. You, definitely, are going to end up in that halfway house, again. In fact, I am going to call there, now, and have someone pick you up, here, at the house because you have nowhere else to go at this time. And I know that that woman over at the foster home, isn’t about to take you back after she finds out, that you have been smoking pot.”

So, then, while Cherry grabbed Lisa by the collar, and made her, sit down in the living room, then, Martin called over at the halfway house. And then, upon one of the doctors, answering the phone, he said to him, “I have Lisa, here, over at the house in St. Clair. I understand that she, once, was there, and has escaped from that house. I want you to send someone over here, and to pick her up and take her over to the halfway house for smoking pot. In fact, I have evidence, here, in the bedroom. She needs to be taken in for treatment. See that person when he or she arrives here.”

In fact, both Cherry and Martin were very mad at Lisa, and themselves, for allowing Lisa to live at their house. And after Martin gave the woman on the phone, his address and phone number, then, he and Cherry waited with Lisa in the living room while they all were having some breakfast of cereal and coffee. Martin, only, was going to do that much for Lisa at this time.

And while they were waiting, Cherry was thinking, “Now, Lisa, if I ever find out that you are pregnant in the future, I am going to, personally, see to it, that me and Martin get full custody of that baby.”

So, then, as soon as a woman arrived over at the house, and, actually, had some doctors put Lisa in a straightjacket, then, the doctors and woman were off with Lisa over to the halfway house where Lisa was going to spend, probably, about a year trying to get herself straight, again.

Now, that Martin and Cherry were free of Lisa, again, and knew that she wouldn’t be able to get away from that halfway house, ever again. Then, the two, that night, made a confession of love to each other.

While Cherry and Martin were lying in the bed, beside each other, in knowing that Martin’s brain tumor was inoperable. And that he could die any time, now, the two decided to do one thing for both of them. And that was to continue on their relationship with each other. And the two of them were going to get married, right away, so that he would have one good thing to take away to Heaven, with him. And that the two of them were going to be united as one. Also, she would have good memories of having him as her husband, and lover, although, she knew, he could die tonight.

So, the two jus lay there in their bed, although, he has this weird look in his eyes, a glassy look in his eyes which she seemed to ignore.

Then, he said to her in a loving way, “My darling Cherry, I know that I could die any time. So, I’ve got to tell you from my heart. I love you straight from my heart. And I want you to marry me, will you, my dear?”

“Yes, I will marry you, my dear Martin. And another thing is that I have loved you, ever since, that time in which the two of us, survived that tornado storm which was a rough one for the two of us. And another thing is that that storm brought us even closer together and made the two of us fall in love with each other.”

However, before she could say anymore, he started shaking. She didn’t know what to do so she, then, jus left him, alone. And while he was laying there on the bed, she called 911. And jus as the ambulance pulled up into the driveway, the paramedics jumped out of the vehicle. And in no time at all, they wheeled a stretcher into the house and into the bedroom where Martin was lying, apparently, in a coma.

Cherry was very worried for his life, and jus allowed the paramedics to do what they could for Martin. However, as one of them tested Martin’s neck, it was very cold, and he couldn’t get a pulse. So, then, he pronounced him, dead which sent Cherry into tears. And then, she couldn’t stand it as the paramedics have to carry him, away, on the stretcher to take him to the mortuary. And as soon as they left with Martin, Cherry, then, felt so alone inside and after that night, she kept having visions of Martin, laying beside her, although, she wasn’t about to take her life to end her misery because with having these visions, they seemed to take away all her misery.

And she then, got help from some social worker, and went through grief sessions along with taking some medicine for her anxiety attacks. And with this help, she then, was able to live without Martin, partly, because she moved back in with her parents. And they helped her get over her grief over losing Martin in her life.
