SERVING CUSTOMERS

SERVING CUSTOMERS
I found some information on how to be an effective waitress at a restaurant called Your Vagabond. These principles will help you to be a good server to customers at KALIESDOSCOPE as well.
So let's discuss what was written and any other ideas we may have about making our customers at the beach happy.
THE WAITRESS DOCTRINE
CLOTHING
You need to wear footwear and need sleeves in your shirts. Long hair should be out of your face (and the patron's food).
[RUSH HOUR]
For large groups and/or busy times of day, you may have to politely ask from patrons to make room.
TAKING AN ORDER
Obviously, this is the most basic part of your job. You've eaten in a restaurant, right? You remember those self-confident, efficient servers who waited on you and your family? This is all we need you to be.
But seriously, waitressing is not rocket science, and waitresses are only human. Do your best, be polite, thoughtful, and efficient in your work, and you will be a star! Take your time. Listen attentively and patiently.
