A PAST SUMMER ROMANCE TURNS WITH THE TIDE

CHAPTER I

All four Johnson sisters are were happily married, and were feeling so heavenly except for the youngest sister of the batch. The youngest sister, Sarah, didn’t want her sisters, spying on her, because she didn’t want to bring her last broken engagement to the surface until she was sure, every bit of the hurt was worn off.

She, really, had the surprise of her life, when one of her sisters, told her, something, which got her to the point of tears. Her sister, Betsy said to her, “When are you going to do something about all that hurt, you seem to be suffering, jus because we all can sense, that you lost your boyfriend? You, really, are trying hard to keep it, a big secret, aren’t you, my dear sister?”

“Now, why don’t you all mind your own bees wax, and I’ll tell all of you all about when I’m good and ready to reveal the whole story about my last boyfriend to you all.”

They all got her, wondering, if she should hold off on the whole thing, and jus wait to tell every one of her sisters about her broken engagement, only, when she felt good and ready to tell every one of them all about it. Being her last boyfriend, really, went too far as to break her heart in such a way, that her heart was feeling like it had been torn into pieces, which she was far away from being able to put back together, again, like if it was a puzzle to her.

“Now, Sarah, since, you’re the youngest of all of us, sisters, I think we should all be looking after you, since, all you’re doing is trying to play hide-and-seek about the situation,” replied Betsy.

Then, another one of her sisters, Beth, had buried herself into Sarah’s affairs, and tell her, what was on her mind, since; she could seem to keep her nose out of Sarah’s business.

“What are you, planning to do about the situation, concerning your last boyfriend? We all know that he has gone as far as to hurt you, very badly.”

Then, one of the others sisters, the oldest of them all, Cher, was, also, curious as to what action, Sarah was going to take to get all of this hurt out of her, she said to her, “We all have had a good talk, lately, and are sorry for having done it behind your back.”

Then, Beth had to put her two cents into Sarah’s affairs, she, then, said to her, “Since, we happen to have a family cottage, which all of us other sisters, have used as a getaway, whenever we have had problems, which seem to come up in our marriages…Well, what I am getting at, is that I’ve been wondering jus what you’re going to do about your situation.”

“Yea,” said Cher, “Are you going to jus let the situation ride for awhile, and lay back off, and jus suffer with a broken heart, or are you going to use the family cottage as a getaway, or are you going to jus wait it out.”

Betsy, then, said to Sarah with a weird expression on her face, like she was trying to spy on her like a spy in the night, “Or are you going to wait until we all force you to leave Boston, and go for a stay at the family cottage, and convince you, that it’s the best thing for you to go for, to give yourself, that big chance to recover from your broken heart.”

However, Sarah jus didn’t feel like talking to any of her sisters, jus because she, still, was a very upset over her broken engagement, and then, the tears seem to roll down her face, enough tears to fill a bucket. She jus didn’t want to divulge into her big her secret of her past summer romance with Dan or even anything about her last boyfriend.

Upon, finally, being able to get her, together, at least, for the time being, Sarah, almost, choked on her words as she said to all her sisters, who were all sitting around with her in the living room.

“What I’m trying to do is to get you all to understand, once and for all, that no matter, what you all are trying to get me to do, I jus think, I’ll be better off staying right here in Boston. Jus give me, some time, and I’m sure all the hurt inside me, which had been feeling like a knife in my heart, will, some day, go away.”

She was trying to get them all to understand, all these years, even jus before she met her last boyfriend. That it had taken the courage of a lion, to risk her heart, and having been broken, again, through her last boyfriend, having taken off from her for another woman. And when he had, a couple of months ago, she had jus realized, she was in love with him, which hadn’t helped the situation any.

And jus look at how life has been going for her, and what had happened to her during these two romances. Her last boyfriend, actually, had turned out to be a copy of the boyfriend; she had spent two months with in a summer romance. He had, actually, caused her to end up going through jus as much heartache, as she has had with her other boyfriend.

After all these years, after she had ended up breaking up with Dan, the one, who she had had a summer fling with, she, actually, has been spending a whole lot of wasted time, trying to play hide-and-seek back in Boston. And in having done so, hasn’t done a darn thing for her. She jus has been trying to suffer in silence, jus trying to cope with her feelings, in having had broken with another guy, Mike, not long ago.

What, really, had happened with Dan, when she had ended up breaking up with him, was all that he’s done to her. He had been the only one, who had managed to have lived up his dream of having another woman in his life, which woman, he had known from way back when he was a kid. And this woman had been the one, who had had loved, not Sarah. He was the only one, who had been lucky as a four-leaf clover in having had another woman at his side.

This was what every one of her sisters has been trying to tell her, all these years, since; she has broken up with Dan. that she should be glad to have been the first sister, to find what all of her sisters had thought, back in her past, should have ended up to be the right man in her life. Although, all of her sisters have been feeling this way, jus because every one of them are happily married and have found the shoe, which Cinderella, that is Sarah, has managed to have lost.

Back then, when Sarah used to have who, she had thought, back seven years during one summer, was one guy, she should have been happy to have in her life, instead she had ended up having her heart, torn to pieces by this guy. This guy, who should have been her undying love, to Sarah’s surprise, had turned out to be jus the opposite.

This has happened to her, jus because he had happened to have been seeing another woman behind her back. And another thing was that she hadn’t found out about this other woman, until Dan had, sorrowfully, let her know, he had to marry her jus because he had gotten her, knocked up.

Right in front of all of her sisters, it has been taking an awful lot of effort, every time, she has come in contact with him, jus to try and fight all these tears, which have been rolling down her face, many times. And this has been happening to her, jus because she has been having a very hard time in trying to cope with all the heartache, which this broken engagement has caused her.

Every one of her sisters have been backing her up in her situation over this broken engagement, through trying to support her, every inch of the way. So, what’s been forefront on her mind, thanks to her sisters’ encouragement, is that she, finally, has taken the offer from them to take it upon her to stay over at the family cottage for a little while.

One thing, she has been able to sense as a funny feeling inside of her. That one of these days, she jus could end up getting herself into something over this guy, Dan, which she can’t seem to get out of. And he happened to be same guy, who she had gone through a summer romance with seven years ago, which never lasted jus because it, only, turned out to be this summer fling.

One of her sisters, Betsy, has offered Dan, a job over at the family cottage, to renovate it and give it a new make over. But what, really, was on Sarah’s mind, is how she would be able to manage to help her sisters, pay for him, working for her. She jus didn’t want to end up paying for all these repairs, getting over her head in debt, which repairs have to be done on the family cottage, since; the place is in need of an overhaul.

Another thing was that she didn’t want to have to worry about bumping into Dan, every morning and evening, because having bumped into him, already, has been, constantly, showing up in her mind, is that one summer romance, she had with him. And this one summer romance has, only, succeeded in putting her in so much pain and grief over the broken fling, which has been making it hard for her to shake it loose of her mind.

Upon having, already, run into her, he now has been having this temptation, creeping up in his head, to wanting to get, really, involved with her, again. This was jus because he has come face-to-face with her. He has been finding her irresistible whenever he’s around her.

What’s been going through his mind, is that back when he used to be married to this other woman, who he had known way back since being a kid, when he, still, was very young, he remembered having promised her, he never would hurt her in any way. That he never would allow himself to be tempted to give up on his son, who happened to belong, also, to that one woman, he used to be married to, no matter if she thought he loved her or not.

The thing was that Dan, being he has some ESP inside him, had known for a while, that each of the sisters, not including Sarah, had stayed at the family cottage, regularly. And jus because each one had, that each one had been lucky enough to fall in love with a guy, and end up being sent into a heavenly life of marriage.

Dan jus seemed to have a lot trouble trying to put up with running into Sarah, each and every morning and night. And every time, he would, to him, it seemed that all he was seeing in her was some woman, who seemed, always, to be buried in her sadness. And every night, when he would try to go to sleep, he kept having nightmares about his summer romance, which kept haunting him.

For her, the best, she could do, was to try to tolerate him, being at the cottage, only, as long as he was doing his job over there. And each morning, she would keep reminding him, that no matter, what he was going to try to do in an attempt like a dog in heat, to get her back. That she didn’t want any further contact with him other than what she had to face with him in the morning.

He thought he could get her to forgive him, for all that hurt and heartache, he’s caused her in the past. He couldn’t avoid all those tears and anger, she kept expressing towards him, all the time.

No matter what he wanted to do, the last thing she was going to do was to allow him to win her back into his life with the courage of a lion. This was because during their past summer fling, she jus didn’t want him to bring back to her, all that heartache, which he had caused her, back then.

All she could seem to concentrate on, these days, with him being around, was all the betrayal from a spy in the night, which he had caused her, when he had been very sneaky and had taken off with another woman, not long after she had fallen in love with him.

If he, really, and truly, wanted her back into his life, then, he had to realize that she has this big gap in her heart, which he has to give her time, to close, before he could ever have her as his own, again. So, all she wanted from him, was for him, to pay attention to his job, and to leave her alone in her silence of the lamb.

She’s been trying to bear any anger; she has had inside over him, having broken her heart in pieces. This has happened because of that one time, when he had hurt her like a knife upon taking off with another woman.

Whenever she had to leave in the morning to take off on her landscaping designing job, she would, actually, cry many tear over him enough to fill a bucket. But no matter what she was feeling inside, she found she had the strength of a cowardly lion, in trying to fight against him, acting like he never was around her.

Yet, she felt like she, still, didn’t want him around in her life, jus because of all the hurt, he had caused her during their past summer romance, because he had left her for another woman.

No matter, how she would keep trying to act when he wasn’t around her, when he was, if it was the last straw for her, she wasn’t going to allow him to give her, any part of his heart, and to keep sticking to her like glue.

He took the job over at the cottage jus because he figured; this job would give him, the big opportunity of a lifetime, to be around her, again. He, really, wanted to concentrate on getting her forgiveness for what he had done to her during that one summer fling, back seven years ago.

No matter what she wanted to do with him, he would hold onto all those feeling for her, which in turn, he figured, would do a lot to help him, stay married to his wife, no matter what came between them. His feelings for his son and for her, back then, had been as strong as they, actually, were going to be.

To him, it seemed, only, in a dream, that whatever he had for her back seven years ago would all come back to him, when all was said and done. And day by day he would jus keep looking forward into this dream, about what could come about to bring the two back together, again.

And what she was, actually, trying to do was to keep daring him, and in the end, he jus kept trying to get whatever love, he could from her, when she, still, was very upset over their last fling, together. But she kept wondering jus in what direction, their love for each other in the past, was destined to go to bring them to their destiny.

But he wasn’t about to stop going after her, jus because she would get all emotional over him, half the time, because of all the hurt, he has caused her in the past during their past romance. He jus had to keep up the pace in going after her, until her, finally, started giving into him and moving forward in the right direction, because he knew deep inside, that he, still, was in love with her.

But one time, when he started to try to go after her with his kisses, she felt she was going to be smothered to death, every time, they bumped into each other. Though, she might have not been aware of this happening all the time, though, he was capable of sending her heart, throbbing out of her chest, which deep inside her, had her trying to hide any love, she had left for him.

Her sisters have to learn how to mind their own business, because of whatever feelings, Sarah has been having for him, seemed to have turn out to be very personal to him. This was because he happened to have been married to this other woman, once, and neither was even this any of their business, that in him, having gone ahead and have married another woman, how he had done his part to break Sarah’s heart to pieces.

Sarah was feeling not too good about Dan, having been very fish about how she has been feeling towards him, which made her, think, that he hasn’t even been acting like none of his morals, have even improved, since, that time, he had started sleeping with another woman behind her back.

This he had pulled on her not too long after he had confessed to her, that he was the one, who’s loved her, so deeply, with what he considered to ever be love. And this love for in the past, had, only, ended up becoming withered like a plant’s leaves, which have turned this way, jus because they haven’t been watered and nurtured enough.

He has been trying to hand her one big white lie about how he had loved her so much back seven year ago, when this wasn’t even the truth about him. And he was trying to get her to believe, that all his love for her has never changed one bit. Though, she has gone as far as to try to keep avoiding his staring at her, whenever around him, while being very unwilling to admit, that she, still, had her undying love for him.

It seemed to him, that every time, she has been around him, that she jus couldn’t help but keep having that same sad expression on her face. And that he kept haunting her with all that hurt, he has brought back into her life through being around her every morning and evening.

There was one thing, which she, really, didn’t want to get herself mixed up in, and tried her hardest to avoid catching up with him, because she, still, was in the emotional state. And because of this, she didn’t want anything to do him at all. What she has been trying hard to do with the prowess of a lion is to keep from admitting to him, that she, really, loves him, yet.

What he was doing to her, was trying to keep going after her, jus to take her by surprise. So, then, she had to warn him, countless times, not to even kiss or touch her at any time, he felt like doing it. So, he went as far as to keep reminding her, jus because she didn’t want to have him, touch her at all.

That to her, it all depended on how long she jus wanted to try to keep hiding out in her car, and kept trying to make herself scarce, while trying to spend extra time on her landscaping designing, jus so she could avoid coming in contact with him. But, still, she jus seemed to him, to always act confident enough, though, what he, really engaged in when around her, was to keep making all those passes at her. She knew that she would find some way to avoid him, even if it meant acting like he wasn’t around when she was at the family cottage.

But to her, no matter how much she would keep acting like she wanted to resist him, and keep avoiding his gaze, the way, he kept trying to express undying love, seemed to be getting nowhere like a fly by the night into the wind.

Though, he kept reminding her, countless times, that he, still, loved her with all his heart and soul. She had to remind him, that although he didn’t want to stop chasing after her like a cat chasing a mouse, and go so far as to catch her off guard with his kisses. She kept insisting that he leave her a lot of room to get over her broken engagement with her last boyfriend.

With her, feeling pleased over the fact, that she kept managing to turn away from him whenever he tried to kiss her, and treat her like Cinderella, she had to make him, realize that there was no way, the two could concentrate on a relationship. And it couldn’t be done, while she, still, was suffering from a broken heart.

And jus because she kept taking off on her job, real early in the morning, she had to get him to understand, that the reason, she was doing so, was she, really, needed things to do with her life, if he could win her back into his life or not.

One night, she was surprised to find, that the attraction between her and Dan, how much stronger, it was getting. So, what, really, happened between them, one night, and was growing, was there, certainly, was a real fierce attraction between them which kept burning its heat. Another thing was that, finally, the two were able to keep in tune with their feelings with each which was a big accomplishment through sharing each other’s hopes and dreams.

He, finally, was shocked awake inside his heart to all those hurts, heartaches, and the longings, they were having for each other. They, really, found themselves living up their dreams of being in love.

Out of nowhere, it seemed that his ex-wife, the other woman, who had gotten in the middle of Sarah and him, and had torn them apart by the seams of their hearts. That this other woman, he had known most of his life, started feeling out how Dan and Sarah having a good relationship with each other in based in true feelings of love.

However, one thing, he knew for sure, and that was that he, certainly, knew he was in deep love with Sarah, since, seven years ago. But for one thing to her advantage, he felt like he didn’t care about this other woman, anymore, jus because he had gotten her, knocked up, at that time, when he had been going with Sarah during their summer romance. With this other woman having gotten between them, she, actually, had caused Sarah’s and Dan’s relationship to come to an abrupt end, back then.

Though, he had gone out of his way to offer the other woman, marriage, back then, he had tried to make the best out of their relationship. And then, when he found that he couldn’t make their marriage, work, this other woman had thought, back then, and that Sarah was the one; he had loved instead of her. So, jus because of this, she had gone as far as to run away on him with their son to another state, jus because she had felt, that all trust between them, had faded away into the darkness.

Back then, all he had been doing to Sarah, jus because she, somehow, had found out, that he had gone off with this other woman, was that in the end, he had been, really, had been doing was trying to hold his head high in betrayal of their love for each other. While he, still, has been indulging his mind in all this betrayal, Sarah, frantically, had been trying to recover from her broken engagement with her last boyfriend.

Back then, seven years ago, the other woman should have known and been, fully, aware, that he wouldn’t have moved if she had agreed to stay, there, right in Boston with their son. The other woman had believed that she hadn’t been the one, who got rid of him. That he had been the one, who had gotten rid of her, instead, jus to get on with his life. Then, he had gone through this grueling divorce, jus so that he could get her out of his life, because she hadn’t been allowing him to see his son.

He had, actually, claimed in court, that there never had been anything like love or trust between them to begin with.

One of her sisters wanted Sarah to settle down right in the area where the family cottage was situated, jus so that her parents, hopefully, would follow suit when they decided to go on with their retirement.

This other woman felt, that if Dan and Sarah would go as far as to push themselves toward marriage, that they would, definitely, keep doing this if they ever sensed that this other woman, who had custody of his son, was turning away from him with what was left with their relationship.

What, really, was surprising all of her sisters, was the fact, how the two have, really, formed a bond between each other, even after all that heartache, which the two have gone through in their past.

But it has seemed that all of her sisters have been having this feeling inside them, that there has been more going on in Dan’s and Sarah’s relationship that she’ll admit or that meets the eye. This is jus because she has been caught by her sisters, as they appeared one time over at the family cottage in Bedford. And they caught her, answering the front door with a shirt on which appeared to be a guy’s shirt. And this, to them, seemed to give it all away, that she has been going to bed with Dan.

However, she went through to all odds to start sticking up for herself right in front of her sisters. That none of them can even force any guilt inside her, or even force her into staying at the family cottage.

He had, actually, gone as far as to seduce her into going to bed with him. But she, really, didn’t want anything like this, yet, being she’s not even ready to make love with Dan.

However, over dinner, one night, he, actually, finally, admitted to her, that he has loved her with all his heart and soul. And that he wants it to stay that way between the two of them, and keeping having that bond, which has been developing between them, whether she’s been aware of this or not.

One day, upon the two, getting together with his son, with it having been the very first time for her, the two started planning weekend visits with his son, whenever the court allowed this on which ever schedule, which the court, originally, planned out for him to follow.

Back then, seven years ago, when the two had been going together during their summer romance, that upon her, breaking up with him, then, that all of these times, afterwards, her heart had, still, been aching like mad for him. This was because somehow, she figured, that they never would have all the babies, they wanted together in their lives, partly, because, he, still, has an obligation for his son, yet.

He had jus gone ahead, and slept with another woman on Sarah, after knowing he had to break up with her over this. jus so that, hopefully, in doing so, would, somehow, do something to make all that heartache inside him, over breaking up with Sarah, make all the loneliness, go away for good.

But then, he figured that the two of them have, always, been meant for each other, since, he and this other woman were jus young kids. At least, he had thought, that she was until she pulled something on him, like running away from him with their only son.

Another thing was that he had been forced to marry this other woman out of a guilt complex, jus because he had gotten her all knocked up, jus so that their son wouldn’t be brought up without a father and mother. But the thing is that this other woman has much forgiveness inside her for Dan, jus because he brought her to be sorry for his past marriage to her, not having worked out like he had hoped it would turn out to be.

However, he wouldn’t take it upon himself, to fight for custody of his son, jus because he hadn’t wanted his son to turn out to be some pawn on a chessboard between him and his ex-wife.

One day, Sarah, finally, got enough guts inside her. And she confessed to Dan, her secret to him concerning her last boyfriend and how he had caused her to end up with a broken engagement, after having run away from her.

And this broken engagement had happened, jus because of the one night in her past, when he had been found in bed by her with this other woman. This broken engagement had caused her even more heartache besides all the hurt, she, still, has inside her, upon the time, she had broken up with Dan during their summer romance, when she had jus fallen in love with him.

Upon looking into his eyes, one night, it jus happened that at that time, she was able to feel that her heart, was beginning to heal from all that hurt, she had suffered as a result of having broken up with Dan in her past during that summer romance. At last, she knew one thing, and that was that both of their dreams of falling in love with other, again, had, certainly, been coming true in their lives.

For one thing, she kept having this weird feeling deep down inside her, that her and Dan could jus end up getting married to each other, some day. And she was, really, hoping that this dream, she has been having about this, would come true some day in her near future. And another thing was that in jus lying on the bed in her room, every night, she jus couldn’t seem to shake off this idea from her mind, like it, already, was becoming a real thing between her and Dan.

For now, what she, really, wished to do was to keep this uncanny silence within her, jus because he had been the one, who had messed their relationship, they, had with each other, seven years ago, when the two had been involved in a summer romance. For one thing, she, really, has become aware of, and this is the fact that her attraction for him, has stayed with her, all this time, and is, still, with her.

What she, really, wanted to do, was to go on ahead, and take a risk and jus allow herself to recapture all of that love, they once had between each other into this big dream, they, once, had clinging between them. And then, jus build this dream into a huge one, through the two moving into their dream house, together, which house, he had built himself.

Since, she has started to feel shaken inside, every time; she has received a kiss from him. She feels that this is a definite sign to her that this could, certainly, end up being built up into some building block for something more ready to happen between them in their near future.

This would all include all these feelings, which the two have had for each other, going back when the two were having their summer romance. All these feelings, including the ones, which they used to share together, she felt, could end up, possibly, leading them into marriage in their future.

Also, she, really, has been feeling, ever since, she has first bumped into him over at the family cottage. That the Lord has gone in her favor, to pick out him to be jus the right gentlemen for her.

One day, when his son, through a phone call to him, admitted that his mom has been taking off at night, and leaving him to fend for himself at night, at the age of six, his dad, really, turned angry towards his mother. And he, really, was determined to try to straighten all this out between him and his mother for his son’s sake.

What he felt, was that his mom has been neglecting her care of his son, and that his son was feeling all this anger inside him, which he shouldn’t be feeling. And that it was his mothers’ fault that he has been feeling like this, jus because she has been taking off and leaving him alone without a babysitter, whenever she feels like it.

He, certainly, wasn’t about to have to put up with his son’s mom, anymore, even if it caused his ex-wife to hate more than she has been. And in trying to deal with this situation concerning his son with his mother, jus might end up costing him, his relationship with his son.

Dan and his son were trying to get together more, jus so that he wanted to be more of a father to his son, than he has been, and if it was the last straw, he wasn’t about to allow his ex-wife to go as far as to stop him, from seeing his son, either, whenever he wanted to go see him for a scheduled visit along with Sarah.

Over dinner, one night, Sarah and Dan jus seemed to feel like they were both in heaven, when both of them seemed to experience that sizzle in the air, which, really, stirred up all that heat inside her for him. And this, actually, allowed the two to be able to tune into each other’s feelings, and to connect in such a way, to each other, that the two, really, were feeling their love for each other.

The air seemed to fill with tension around her, when she tried to make these stupid rules, which she thought, they should follow about keeping all feelings to themselves, concerning all what they had gone through when they were having their summer romance, back years ago. And she had thought that the two should stick to each other like glue.

But then, she found that when they happened to get into a big fight over this situation of having ground rules between them, she decided to drop the whole subject. And then, jus allow all these old feeling to take their path in emerging between them, whether they were good or bad.

Their past with all old feeling associated with their summer romance, and fling, seven years ago, with all these feelings have come back into their lives, all these old feelings seemed to be lingering like moss on the ground. So, then, this seemed to give her this terrifying urge inside, that she wanted a relationship bad enough with him, which relationship was, really, worth dying for.

Jus because all of this hurt, lingering inside him, Dan figured that the best thing to do was to try all he could, to keep as much distance between them as he could. This she was going to do until she was sure; she was, completely, over all that hurt, she has suffered from their summer romance, seven years ago.

What he, really, wisher for and wanted from her, now, was that he wanted her to go ahead, and do some favor for him, through being on her job, in designing the landscaping for two of his new houses. Especially, the one, which he felt that they might move into, together, some day, he wanted her to design the outside for him, jus how she felt, it should be.

He felt, that when he had first started building one of his houses, that when he had, that from that time on, to him, it felt as though, part of her, her heart, has been with him all this time, he has been building it. When the house was completely finished, it, probably, would bring the two even closer to each other.

Though, she might be not be, fully, aware of this at all, she didn’t know that all she was doing was playing around with wildfire, in having allowed him, to give her, kisses whenever he felt, like he wanted to give them to her. This wildfire has been a result of what the two have gone through in the past, when they had their summer romance for two months.

Because all the trust, they used to have for each other, had been destroyed during their summer romance, that one time, it wasn’t easy for either of them to get that trust back into their hearts. So, this has caused him not to think of her as a good friend of his in the long run, jus a lover and leave it at that.

What she, really, wanted was to have a second house, besides the one in Boston, so, that in their future, they would have one to move into together, if they ever decided to get married in their future.

But for one thing, that didn’t seem to help the matter, was that no matter, how badly, she wanted this one house, she couldn’t possibly afford to pay for the house and for the mortgage on the house. And if she kept fighting with him over this one house, which he had built with his own hands, she only would be placing her heart at more risk, than she could possibly afford to take.

She has been trying to keep her emotions in check, which hasn’t been any easy job for her in the long run. And she has been trying hard to do this back from when the two had broken up after their summer romance. For one thing, she has been regretting in doing so, is that she has been aware of the fact, that she has been missing him so much.

All her hurt and anger inside her, having been brought on when he broke up with her during their summer romance, and over how he has betrayed her in the past, seemed to be quite strong inside her, yet. But she desperately wanted him in her life to be hers, only, because of the fact, that he has been the only man in her life, who she has ever loved the most.

If he ever sells the dream house to her, and he moves in with her, this jus might help keep the door open to her heart. So, that he will be able to win himself back into her life. No doubt that the attraction between them was there. So, then, every time, he would give her, a kiss, she would turn quite sneaky and jus take off on him, sometimes, especially, if he did this in the morning.

The fact, that she wanted him away from all feelings inside her for him, all wants, needs, and hurt, she wanted him back into her life once and for all, and once he was, to stay, there, which feelings jus seemed to creep up inside her, whenever she was around him.

Even in having custody of his son, his ex-wife never seemed to be happy about the situation, like she should be feeling, and could never come to terms with him over his son, either.

After every visit, every time, he would have to leave his son, his heart seemed to end up being filled up with all this happiness, which would seem jus to make his heart ache, very badly, jus because he wanted his son for all his own. He, really, has an ache inside him to have his son back into his life for good, and to feel more like a father to his son.

Also, his heart would tend to fill up with self-pity for his son, jus because of the way, he has been treated all the time by his mother, who wasn’t good either, because of the way, she kept neglecting his son.

Although, Dan wanted her to go with him, every time, he wanted to pay his son, a visit, she kept wondering what would happen if she fell in love with his son. Also, his son never would become hers, jus because she’s not the woman, who ever was knocked up with his son in the long run.

Jus because she mattered to Dan, he wanted her to pay a visit with him to see his son, whenever, the scheduled visits came up. She wanted to go with him to see his son, jus because she wanted to get to know him. And she would, always, have a heart for him, and would give his son, all her love.

One night, in the two being in the mood to make love, heat blazed in his eyes like wildfire. And she wanted, badly, to make love, had all the desire and need inside her, that night.

But he was hesitant because he thought, she’ll regret it if they do make love, but nothing could stop them from making love, and they did it anyways.

Right before they did the thing, she called up her sisters, jus because she was afraid, that they all would barge in on her, and catch them, making love.

He got her to go slow in making love although she wanted to rush through it jus because her sisters jus might show up over at the cottage. She even took off her clothes for him, too, jus to show him how badly she wanted him, tonight.

Her sisters did end up showing up at the cottage, and caught her with his shirt on upon her, answering the front door. So, they knew what’s been up between him and her, tonight. He looked with amazement, while her, climbed into his truck, trying to hide from her sisters, because she jus didn’t want to face any of them, tonight.

She, surely, didn’t want any of her sisters to find out about her and Dan being in bed, together, though she loves him with all her heart and soul. That’s what drove her into making love with him.

And as he snuck out the front door, so, that none of her sisters would catch him around, then, he walked over to his truck, where he happened to catch her, hiding from him inside it, in the cold. He’s gotten himself into some hot water, which won’t sizzle out. He can’t face his sisters, and neither can she.

She, then, walked back inside the cottage, and did all she could to stick up for herself in front of her sisters. And she wasn’t about to allow them to boss her around, either, about her relationship with him, either.

She let every one of her sisters know, that she can do anything, she wants, and doesn’t need their approval in the matter, either, concerning her and Dan., either. That she can have him for herself, and that he can have her for himself, too.

Then, without putting up with all that back talk from her sisters, she, then, kicked every one of them out of the family cottage, before any of them could try to convince her to ditch Dan, jus because they thought, he wasn’t the type of guy for her to begin with. Also, she let them know, jus before they left, that she’s hired him to do some work around the cottage, and hired to have him in her life.

She thinks, that every one of her sisters are investigating hers and Dan’s lives until the two of them jus happened to end up down the road in getting married to each other. They’ll go after whatever they want from each other, and fight for every bit of it until her and Dan; jus might end up in one of the new houses, which he has built with his own hands.

She has a lot of feelings for him, ever since, that summer romance, seven years ago, and will not try to deny her love for him, even if it comes to spending a lot of time with his son, and then in the long run, her heart ends up getting broken in two.

She then, went on what she called her mission, one morning, to do some designing and studying the region, to figure out if one of his houses should be a cottage and the other one, a beach house, using her imagination during these snowy days. She made scribbles and sketches on a big note pad, which she carries with her on her job, of what she wanted around the two houses as far as the landscaping went.

Her sisters, really, want her to take her time in going after Dan, and to also be sure to be careful around him. So, that he won’t take her heart and try to do anything to her that will break her heart and pierce it like an arrow.

His life is really a big hassle to him with an ex-wife and only son in his life to worry about. She has to be sure to look out for any kind of pitfalls, which she may jus encounter, now, that she has been visiting his son along with him. For one thing, one thing which she, really, has fun doing with his son and him, is sledding and making forts and snowmen.

And because on weekends, his ex-wife never seems to be home right when he’s supposed to go over to visit his son along with Sarah. His ex-wife never seems to be home, half the time, watching over his son like she should be doing. His son jus couldn’t spend any time with his dad other than the scheduled times figured out in court.

Through all these visits with his son, she felt like she was latching onto him like a clinging vine on a trellis. And all three of them, Dan, her, and his son kept getting, together, for regular visits whenever they can.

The kid has, really, taken onto her and has been regarding her as a mother model, jus because his real mother never seemed to care for him from the moment; he was born into this cruel world of ours. Sarah, really, was like a mother to him and every time, he gets took see her, it has seemed like he’s been responding to her with increasing affection.

This bonding which Dan has been having with his six-year old son has been causing him and his girlfriend, Sarah, bigger problems with his wife, which have been turning to be developing like a volcano, which has been erupting.

However, he managed to get his ex-wife to realize, that although she’s, really, been feeling the pressure inside her from this, he’s, actually, grown away from his ex-wife, which has been happening, ever since, he and Sarah have been getting together, with his son.

Dan sensed that he would sooner than he thought; start going after her even more. She, always, has been compatible with him, now, even more so. She, actually, found herself, hanging onto him, and being surrounded by a world of happiness. Dan wanted her and his son to be compatible, also, and to keep latching onto each other like if they were mother and son.

BACKFLASH:

She had been responsible for breaking up Dan and his other woman, Mary, had claimed jus because she didn’t want Sarah, seeing her son at all. Their marriage had fallen part, because she had been unhappy, and had wanted to move out of the area, far away, somewhere. But she, somehow, knew that he had been in love with Sarah, back then, seven years ago, during their summer romance for two months.

But no matter how they had tried, Dan and Mary couldn’t make their marriage work for them. And she had been pregnant with his son. But because she had known about Sarah from Boston, and that the two had been having a romance behind her back.

When they had been younger, she hadn’t been able to get herself to sleep with him, because she wouldn’t do it this had forced him to run away from her like a mouse running away from a mouse. Anyway, she had been lucky as a four-leaf clover, to get custody of her son.

But he didn’t go as far as to try to fight for custody of his son, jus because she had been knocked up at that time. And if it was the last straw, he didn’t want his son, growing up without a father, either. She had thought, back then, that he hadn’t been about to take care of their baby and be a father to him, jus because he had lost all trust in her.

She had been the one, who had come between Sarah and Dan, years ago. And he had married her, only, out of obligation. And he had, always, wished that Mary was Sarah, Mary had thought, back seven years ago. However, Mary had been the one, who had wanted the divorce from Dan, in the first place.

If he wanted Sarah, she, Mary, wasn’t going to allow either him or Sarah to see her son. Mary, no longer, has been any part of his life, and hasn’t ever been before Sarah and Dan had run into each other, again. Now, the two were kissing and making love, many times over.

Mary was getting on his back for allowing Sarah to see his son. And she, really, kept after Sarah, because she didn’t want her son being a part of Sarah’s life. And another thing Mary wouldn’t even start taking care of her son, better, like a civilized woman should. But Sarah let her know, she wouldn’t do anything in any way to try and interfere with Mary’s relationship with her son, because she’s the one, who’s his mother.

But, anyway, she got on Sarah’s back, to not want her near her son or Dan either, because she thought that Sarah had, actually, been the one, who ruined her marriage to Dan in the first place, and had create this hurdle around her.

But Sarah had to keep reminding her, that she doesn’t know her son. Though, she’s been his wife, back when, at that time, when he, only had known her for a two month summer romance. But Mary could end being the one, who ends up taking her son away from Dan. But in the long run, Mary was trying as hard as she could to tear Sarah and Dan apart, again.

She could end up forcing Mary to walk away from him, before she’d allow Dan’s son to get hurt because of her. Mary wants to force her son to come between Dan and Sarah. Sarah has been involved with him, ever since, she was eighteen years of age, only a teenager. In every way, he had been a big part of her first romance, back years ago. And she had fallen in love with him jus before the two had gotten separated. The two never came to the point of getting engaged, because back then, she hadn’t known him for more than two months.

But she’s forgiven Dan for all the past hurt, which he had caused her. And she has managed to, finally, establish trust with him.

Upon one day, when Mary met Dan over at his house, she was trying to talk him into starting over with her for the sake of their son. Thought, the reason, he had come, there, was so that, hopefully, they would be able to straighten everything between them concerning Sarah had him, dropping over to their house to see their son.

Now, she was trying to talk him into getting back together as a family with their son. She even was trying to talk him into having a big wedding with her. Also, she wanted, badly, for her and her son to come back to Dan. She reminded him, that she had made a big mistake, years ago, in moving away from him, running away with their son.

Then, as she kissed him, catching him off track, Sarah jus happened to have caught her, doing to his him. And as a result, then, Sarah jus took off. He managed to catch up with her. But she had many tears, rolling down her face, enough tears to fill up a bucket. And she, now, wanted to move back to Boston.

But the reason, she wanted to do this, was, only, because she thought, that he was choosing his family over her. So, he reminded her, that he, really, needed her in his life, and that he didn’t want anything to do with his ex-wife, anymore.

Dan made a proposal to Sarah, as he reached inside his pocket, and pulled out a small black velvet box. As he opened up the box, a simple diamond set platinum was revealed to her. As the two stood by a ditch on the highway, tears came to her face, happy tears, enough tears to fill up a bucket.

With a big smile, she thought this was a romantic place, because the stars and moon are showing in the darkness of the night, along with her, being able to hear waves on the bay.

She couldn’t wait, so, then, she told him, that she’ll marry him. Then, he had to go back inside the house and make things right with his ex-wife. And he let her know, that he and Sarah were getting married for sure, that there was no doubt about it. So, he and Sarah went ahead and made wedding plans over at the family cottage, and planned to move into that new dream house, she has wanted to move into for some time.

Epilogue:

Her mother took the responsibility of planning their wedding, because she didn’t have time to do it, being she, now, was in a partnership with some guy to do landscaping designing. And then, Sarah and Dan went ahead, and set a date for a June wedding in Boston in church as he got an annulment from his ex-wife along with the divorce. Had Sarah’s mother planned the whole wedding bit, jus because Sarah was loaded with work in her new partnership with Doug?

Though, she went ahead and at least, planned a three-day honeymoon, somewhere, at an expensive hotel for the two of them. And then, when she had the time to put aside, some day she and he were going to plan a longer honeymoon.

Dan’s son stayed a son of his real mother and, was going to, still, continued living with her. So, then, Sarah and Dan, simply, had the court bend the rules a little, so that the two could spend more time, together, with his son. The two worked out a visitation plan, which Mary has agreed to stick to, to the letter.

Dan was shocked over the fact, that she accepted that Dan and Sarah were going to get married.

Mary hoped that, somehow, she would be able to have a few more weekends to herself to make a new life with, hopefully, a new man, some day.

She, finally, went as far as to make peace with Dan, and `concentrated what she could have for herself in life, if she, actually, try to work it out, somehow, with herself.

During the actual wedding ceremony, Sarah was surrounded by her family and Dan’s uncle. She gave Dan’s uncle, a kiss, jus before walking down the aisle in church. Once, she and he arrived at the altar, as the two jus stood, there, during their wedding ceremony, the two, actually, said their vows to each other, while she and he looked, deeply, into each other’s eyes.

And as they did, she, actually, felt as though, she was seeing all from years ago when the two first met each other. Though, the love between the two was a lot different now, jus that the two have matured and that their love for each other has deepened.

He had her in a blindfold, as the two stood at the altar. Then, when the ceremony was over with, and the two had given each other, that precious, kiss, which they’ll remember forever, he had her keep the blindfold on, until he brought over the threshold and then, the two arrived over at their dream house.

As they arrived, there, and he took her inside, she, then, was, finally, allowed to open her eyes. And as they opened, she, actually, before her eyes, was seeing a room, all lit up with this entire aroma which was coming from all these candles. And along with this, she was seeing all over the room, all these white flowers in bouquets. Some French doors were opened at that time to a sea breeze and the familiar sound of the bay, gently, splashing on a sandy beach, from their house.

He figured their first night together, after jus having got married, should be where they’re going to spend the rest of their lives. Was the way, it was meant to be. Time apart from each other was a blessing. Now, they know how much being together, really, matters to their happiness as a couple.
