A DOCTOR'S INSTANT LOVE BY CHERYL V.

DOCTOR’S INSTANT LOVE

The doctor jus entered the office on a snowy morning
As he did, his receptionist was sitting at her desk, so adorned
That he, instantly, was attracted to this woman,
Dressed in nurse’s attire embroidered with red and blue flowers, then
As this woman caught the doctor’s eye
He wondered why, this morning, he noticed her pretty blue eyes
Had the urge to go over to her,
However he felt, it was against the rules of office to kiss her
So, he jus went about his business, walking over to the other side
Of the desk where there were so many files piled
Up that morning, that he could just picture many more files
More than he could go through during one shift, that for a while
He jus wanted to throw all the charts out the window
And allow all the wind of the morning, to blow
Them all away from him, so, he could relax for awhile
But then, not knowing why, he started to feel like a child
Who could jus think of how its parents are going?
To get down on him for not doing what he should in combing
His hair which has been blowing in the wind
Jus before he walked into the waiting area as a patient, so think
That one could, almost, fit his or her arms around her waist
The doctor noticed the receptionist, having starry eyes
Which made him, let out a sigh
As he took in the child into his room
With his mother walking beside him in a boom
The receptionist’s starry eyes made the doctor
Forget about his patient as her starry eyes were a factor
Hinting to the doctor how pretty she appeared to him
Which sent him into a brief daydream where she’s alongside him?
Having the fun of her life inside his bedroom
As in his daydream, the receptionist is lying by him on his bed
And before he can pull her towards him
He finds himself inside his room his office with the light so dim
That he’s suddenly aware of the child
Lying on the bench as she’s been there for awhile
With her parent standing beside her right there inside the room
Wondering if the doctor’s mind has been headed for doom
As he almost forgot about his patient, this morning
And the child has started to get so desperate in playing with a horn
That is blaring sound so loud into the doctor’s ears
Which causes him to become suddenly aware of all these years?
In which he has had the child for a patient
Ever since the child has been a baby, as the doctor struggles for patience
As its mother finally gets the girl to calm down
And stop acting like one foolish clown
So that the doctor can check out the child
To try to figure out what’s been causing her fever for awhile
But as he checks her over
Again his mind starts drifting as he spots a four leaf clover
Before his eyes although the child’s gotten restless
Jus because she can sense, that the doctor’s not all here, today
And so the girl desperately wants to make him pay
For allowing the receptionist to distract him from his duties
And again allowing he to daydream about this cutie
Over there at the desk near the waiting room, today
However as the child hits the doctor’s arm with a horn
Its mother starts laughing as he’s appearing so forlorn
Jus because he can’t find out what’s wrong
With the child jus because he finds that one woman, so strong
With all the sex appeal that she possibly can muster
On this one cool and sunny morning, so the doctor’s flustered
Over her so much, that in becoming this way
Is actually helping him throughout the early day
In diagnosing the child with a nasty case of the flu
While in his daydream, he’s seeing this one woman as if she’s in youth
And as the mother grabs the prescription for cold medicine
From the doctor, he finds himself completely out of his head
And head over heels over the receptionist over at the desk
So, since, he can’t seem to stop acting towards her like one pest
Finally his assistant nurse takes over the rest of the cases for his shift
And sends him, home to get much rest which nurse leaves him in a drift
Which upon walking out of the one room and over to the starry-eyed woman
Jus before he leaves the office, he walks right over to this woman
And asks her for her home phone number
So later on, he can give her a call, which leaves him smarter not dumber
So now he’s smarter than the average bear and back to reality
This leaves him much aware, that he’s fallen in love
And that this woman at the desk, later on, is going to join him in his cove
