BRODY AND CHER BEAR DO THEY, REALLY, LOVE EACH OTHER
CHAPTER I
One day, Cher bear came from Duvall retail store which she has been working for through the internet for some time. Since, she jus happened to get done with the monthly inventory. And she, also, checked with what’s been going on with her business. So, she headed home in the early afternoon. She, only, has to travel over there, once, a month being she runs a business through Comcast internet. And during that time, she, only, needs to take care of the monthly which makes it unnecessary for her to go there more than twice a month.
She jus happened to be pregnant with her second child, and the first one, a girl, was at the tender age of two. Whenever she had to travel to the retail store to do the inventory. This, still, gave her, plenty of time to be with her little girl. Cher Bear was about four months along in her pregnancy.
And that very day, she jus happened to have an appointment with her doctor. She has to find out how the baby is doing inside of her. However, she started having this cramping in her stomach right where the womb is located. And she jus assumed, at first, it was the baby, moving around inside her womb. However, when she placed her hand on her stomach, she couldn’t feel any movement from the baby, anywhere.
So, upon her, arriving home, she discovered her boyfriend, asleep when he should have been awake. Then, he shouldn’t have fallen asleep, that time of afternoon because he knew. That she has an appointment with her doctor, that very afternoon.
So, upon her walking upstairs after calling out his name, she got no answer. She’s feeling very disappointed, and somewhat angry at him. So, she has to do something which she hated to do because he did this, often. He jus never seemed to take the responsibility of looking after the two-year old, Madison.
It jus so happened. That she never could trust him to look after Madison when she was gone over at the retail store to take care of the inventory for the place.
So, from now on, she has to bring Madison over at the store with her inside her office for most of the time. She has to be over there when the inventory is due to be done. Sometimes, she has to have a friend of hers to be a babysitter for her little girl. And in the long run, she has to, then, worry about finding some time to be with Madison during a break of hers. This was whenever she would have to be over at the retail store.
BACKFLASH:
Brody and Cher Bear made this agreement with each other, originally, not too long ago. And this was jus because she thought; he was so much in love with her when she happened to become pregnant with Madison. And this agreement which they had made with each other was to live together in Brody’s house.
And the two, originally, agreed to live with each other, mostly, so, they could make sure, Madison would be brought up in a family, not jus by a single mother. Also, Brody was supposed to keep an eye on their little one whenever Cher Bear would be gone, somewhere, like at the Duvall retail store. This they agreed upon jus before they moved in together, although, she moved into Brody’s house jus when she happened to be pregnant with her.
However, he tended to believe that the mother of the child is the one who should take on full responsibility in taking care of her little one whether she be at work or not. Also, when she has to travel, some place, no matter what it is for, she, always, is supposed to take her child with her. So, the mother can watch over her at all times.
Through a DNA test, though, Brody has been found to be the real father of Cher Bear’s little girl.
Lately, for certain, whenever she has to run over to the retail store, she has to, always, make sure. She takes Madison with her jus because he tends to fall asleep instead of taking full responsibility for their little girl.
So, then, upon her, waking up her boyfriend, Brody, from a deep sleep, he didn’t seem to dig her, doing this to him. However, it has gotten laid on his hands for him to take her to see her doctor, every time, she has an appointment.
Being there, only, was one car in the family, a cranberry Cadillac convertible Sebring; he has no choice but to have to take her there. However, whenever she has to take off to the Duvall store which wasn’t very often, she, usually, walked there being that it, only, was down the street from Brody’s house.
So, jus as she happened to wake up Brody, she started getting these weird pains in her stomach. And then, before she realized it, she found herself, bending over, and feeling like she was having labor pains. So, then, he didn’t have any choice but to bring her along with Madison over to the hospital because it would have taken too long for an ambulance to get over to his house.
So, Brody was carrying Cher Bear and Madison over to the car convertible with her half-bent over. Cher Bear happened to be in so much pain. She didn’t even take notice of the beauty of the mountains in the distance. How they were creating such a beautiful cast amongst the clouds on such a hot fall afternoon. Jus after he got Madison and her, settled in the car, he saw that Cher Bear was in tears. So, he could, really, sense that something, really, was wrong with her, right now.
As Brody was getting into the driver’s seat, Madison said to her mother, “Mommy is something wrong with you. You seem to look like you’re crying.”
Cher Bear, really, didn’t want to explain the whole truth to her. So, she jus said to her little girl in a desperate voice, “Yes, my dear, Madison, I’m ready to cry. I would tell you what is wrong. However at this time, I don’t know how to explain this to you. I’m sure that you will be able to pick up what’s wrong with me, after daddy gets us to the hospital.”
So, then, for the rest of the ride, Madison kept having that look of awe on her fee. Although, the short ride over to the hospital, was a little too much for her. The ride for Cher Bear seemed to take forever being she was in so much pain. That she wasn’t even aware of what was going on around her.
Jus as Brody pulled the car into the hospital parking lot, and got out of the car with a cigar, hanging from his mouth, he said to Madison.
“C’mon with me, Madison. Mommy has to get checked out by her doctor. I’m not sure but I think that something bad might be happening to her. When I find out what’s going on with her, I’ll try my best to tell you what’s going on with mommy. Jus allow mommy to get into the wheelchair which the guy is bringing over to the car. He will bring her right to emergency. And while he is doing so, I’m going to have to watch you, my dear girl.”
“When can I get to see mommy, though? She doesn’t look well, and she’s in tears at this time.”
“That’s because she’s in a lot of pain at this time. And it’s so bad that she couldn’t even walk over to the hospital and into emergency. The doctor or nurse will let us know when we can see mommy. In the meantime, jus walk inside the hospital with me. And wait with me in the hospital lobby.”
As soon as Brody and Madison arrived inside the lobby, she said to him, “Daddy, can I have something to eat and drink while we’re waiting to see mommy? I’m very hungry and thirsty, right now.”
“Okay, my dear, Madison, jus wait here on the couch. And I’ll go over to the machine. And I’ll get you, your favorite sandwich and something to drink. What kind of sandwich did you, want me to get for you? Do you like chicken?”
“Yes, daddy, I like chicken.”
“What would you like to drink? Do you like orange drinks?”
“Yes, I do, daddy.”
“Well, I’ll get your orange drink for you, too. And this lady sitting on the couch next to you jus happens to be a good friend of mine. So, she’ll look after you while I go over to the machine, and get you, something to eat and drink.”
Okay, daddy, I will stay on the couch with her until you come back.”
“That’s my girl,” replied Brody with much sadness in his eyes because he’s worried about Cher Bear.
In the meanwhile, as Cher Bear was taken to emergency, immediately, the doctor found a bed for her to lie down in. And as he did, she said to the doctor, Dr. Michael Pauley, “What’s your name, by the way? I have a short term memory, and I’m not good at remembering names.”
“My name’s Dr. Michael Pauley, I’m an obstetrician. And I’ll be looking after you, today. What seems to be the problem, here? I know you are about four months along in your pregnancy. You appear like you are in a lot of pain at this time, my dear? And if you are, from a scale from one to ten, tell me, what number, you think you’re in pain.”
“Well, for me, the pains feels like number ten. The pain started as soon as I arrived home from my job as the retail store. I take inventory, once or twice a month besides running the business in sales through the internet.
I wasn’t able to walk over to the car. And as soon as I was inside it, the pain grew, steadily, worse. Now, I’m in so much pain. I’m afraid; I might be heading for a natural abortion because the cramping feels jus like labor pains. And can I have something for the pain?”
“Okay, I’ll give you, a shot of Morphine for the pain. And the nurse will be right here to put you on an IV. And administer the Morphine to you. I won’t give you too much because I don’t want to hurt the baby anymore than it’s hurting, right now. Tell me, now, do you have RH negative blood? If you do, I’ll have to give you, a Rhogam shot, right away, so that you won’t have a miscarriage.”
“It jus happens that I am RH-negative. And at two months along, I was given the shot. But I’m afraid that maybe the shot was given too early or maybe not early enough because I’m feeling like I’m starting to bleed.”
“Jus try to relax, now, my dear. The nurse jus gave you, some Morphine. And I’m afraid that you might be heading for a miscarriage. However, since, she jus gave you, a Rhogam shot, that might stop you from losing your baby. So, jus try to relax with the Morphine. So, it will work better for you. The nurse will stay at your side to make sure, you’re not having a miscarriage. But if you are, she has to be here for you, my dear.”
“You said I am having a miscarriage, is that correct? However, how am I, going to explain this to my two-year old daughter? Somehow, she can sense. That I am about to lose my baby. And she has been looking forward to me, having this baby because she wants a baby sister.”
“Don’t worry about anything until we are certain, you’re having a miscarriage. And then, if it turns out, you are, be sure to tell her, you, still, can give her, a baby sister. However, let her know, you’ll have one when the time is right.”
“Can you do me, a favor, doctor? Please go get my boyfriend, Brody, he’s, probably, in the lobby with my daughter, Madison. Please encourage him to leave her with a friend of ours. I jus have the feeling; this woman is in the lobby, too, waiting for her husband because he has had a heart attack, recently. And I knew that she would be coming to see him, this afternoon.”
“Okay, my dear, I’ll get Brody. And tell him to leave your daughter with your friend. Your daughter jus might not understand what is going on at this time with you. She’s kind of young to be able to comprehend all what has been going on with you, this afternoon.”
So, then, the doctor walked out of the room, and over to the desk where one of the nurses is on duty over at the nurses’ station.
As soon as he arrived there, he said to the nurse, whose name is Candy, “You know the woman who jus came in not too long ago, complaining of having terrible pains in her stomach? Well, she would like you to get her boyfriend. And for him to leave their daughter, Madison, with a friend who, also, has been waiting in the lobby.”
“What does this guy look like by the way? Does he have a tall build with a rugged-looking face and curly brown hair?”
“Yes, that’s the guy, so, please go and get him. And be sure to tell him to leave the little girl with their friend because she isn’t allowed to come into the room to see her mother, Cher Bear. In fact, she has jus been admitted to the hospital. And needs to be monitored overnight to make sure. That she doesn’t start hemorrhaging because she could be going through a miscarriage at the present.”
So, then, the nurse walked right out into the lobby. And sure enough, the guy who the doctor was talking about was right there in the lobby. He was sitting beside his friend with Madison, on his lap.
So, upon arriving out in the lobby, the nurse said in a frantic voice to him, “Hey is your name, Brody by the way?”
“Yes, it is, is something wrong with my woman in the emergency ward?”
“Yes, I think there’s something very wrong with her? However, the little girl has to stay, here, with your friend because Cher Bear’s being admitted. And, only, you’re allowed in the room to see her at this time.”
Trying to get her breath, she said in a frantic voice to him, “Right now, the doctor has been checking your girlfriend out, very thoroughly. And it’s possible that she could be having some complications like hemorrhaging at this time. And your little daughter is not allowed in the room for that very reason. Besides, how could a girl as young as her, possibly, know, exactly, what’s going on with her mommy?”
“Okay, Madison, you stay right here with my friend, Sarah. And she will take good care of you while I go see what’s up with your mommy. She could be in tears at this very moment. And I don’t want you to see her, crying because it could make you cry, too. I’ll be right back as soon as I’m through visiting with your mommy.”
So, then, as he walked over to Cher Bear’s room, Madison was taken down to the nursery. And there, a woman had her lie down and get some sleep being she’s very crabby. And Madison didn’t even put up any fight with either Brody’s friend or the woman in the nursery.
As soon as he arrived inside of Cher Bear’s room, she, actually, has tears in her eyes at this time. However, she said to him, “Brody, please come over to my side. I need you right now. The doctor jus told me that I’m having a natural abortion, a miscarriage. And he wants me to stay at least overnight for observation.”
Then, he walked over to where she, still, was lying in bed. She, suddenly, got all choked up inside. And so, he pulled up a chair to the bed. And tried to calm her down the best he could. And the nurse jus has given her, some more Morphine through an IV along with a blood transfusion because she has been hemorrhaging.
So, jus as he sat down by her, she was falling asleep from the tranquilizer and Morphine. So, she, suddenly, fell into a dream which seemed so real to her, that she started talking in her sleep. So, he jus sat there, and listened to her, and tried to make out what she was saying to herself.
So, she was mumbling, “I don’t know how I’m going to carry on in life. I’m feeling so empty inside, my dear. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to cope in feeling this way. I never have felt this way before in my life.”
She was dreaming of him, lying beside her in the bed, and thought, he, actually, was in bed with her.
She said to him, “My Brody, I don’t know what to say to you. I have jus lost my baby. And right now, I’m feeling, as though, like life seems to be so worthless to me.”
And jus as she was saying this to him in her dream, she realized, he, actually, has crawled in bed with her. And he’s lying right next to her, holding onto her hand. And he’s trying his best to comfort her as he’s very aware; she’s finding that in having lost her baby is so hard on her at this time.
In the meanwhile, Madison has been taken down to the nursery by his friend. However, she’s having a fitful sleep, herself, as she knows darn well, something must be wrong with mommy because she hasn’t come out of her room for some time. Brody couldn’t keep it, a secret about Cher Bear, being sick at this time because Madison would have found out about her mommy, sooner or later.
And Brody jus found out from that doctor, that Cher Bear will have to stay overnight over at the hospital. He knows that she could be facing a life or death situation. This is because she, still, is under the threat of possibly losing a lot of blood throughout the night.
Then, she, suddenly, awoke from her dream, and called for the nurse being she has to make a trip to the restroom. And she knows deep down inside, she’s having this feeling; something’s trying to fall out of her.
So, then, she beeped the nurse into the room. And upon the nurse walking into the room, Cher Bear, then, said to her in a frantic and sorrowful voice because Brody wasn’t allowed to try to help her out of being she’s feeling quite weak at this time.
Nurse, I have to get up to go to the restroom. I have this odd feeling inside. That I need a bottle at this time. And I can feel the baby, trying to come out of me.”
So, in grabbing a bottle nearby, the nurse, then, helped her out of her bed. However, she has to hold onto the nurse being that she could fall and hurt herself otherwise. So, as she arrived inside the restroom, the nurse has to stay with her jus in case she needs her for any reason.
Upon Cher Bear, arriving inside the restroom, she jus happened to see something odd looking on the floor. As the nurse picked it up off the floor, and washed it off in the sink, Cher Bear’s aware; it was her baby which the nurse was washing off for her.
Then, Cher Bear felt, as though, she was slipping into a state of shock being she jus noticed her baby’s dead. Also, she saw it has no head, hands or feet.
As the nurse, then, put it inside a bottle, and was ready to walk off with it, she jus realized that Cher Bear needed her help, walking back to bed.
As Cher Bear arrived at her bed, she said to the nurse, “Please don’t take my baby away. I know that my baby is in that bottle. And that, although, it’s deformed in some way. I want to keep my baby.”
But, then, the nurse said to her as she helped her back into bed, “This baby needs to be checked out. Although, there’s no way, I can save her. The baby’s dead. And it has to be checked out in the lab. And when it has been sterilized in the lab, I will bring it back to you.
And then, you can bring the baby, home, with you when you’re discharged from the hospital. However, there’s no way, the baby can be brought back to life, again. It’s apparent, that it died in your womb. That’s the very reason; you had a miscarriage, my dear. And now, try to get some rest because you need a lot of rest badly, and need to stay overnight, too.”
She couldn’t understand what the nurse was trying to tell her. She, really, wasn’t listening to her being she was very groggy. So, then, she jus fell asleep. However, she felt like her body’s fading away being her never has had a miscarriage before in her life.
The whole thing about having a miscarriage, jus felt so weird to her. That it’s started to haunt her inside. Because she’s, still, feeling so weak and worn out at this time, sleep jus seemed to take her over.
Then, she happened to awake, an hour later being she has to have a blood transfusion, so she doesn’t pass out anywhere and ends up falling out of her bed. Then, right after the transfusion, she jus feel asleep, again, with Brody, lying next to her.
Her little one seemed to sleep through the rest of the night which was good. Being that Brody was so tired; he slept right in the bed near Cher Bear until the nurse walked into the room. And then, she made Brody, get out of the bed. And then, she had him, sleep on one of the couches in the lobby, the rest of the night.
When the morning came around, the nurse walked into Cher Bear’s room to see how she’s doing, she woke up. Then, right before breakfast was being served, the nurse gave her, an injection of Morphine and some tranquilizer through her IV. And the effects from the Morphine and tranquilizer made it quite hard for her to wake up to eat some breakfast. She had to force herself to eat. And then, right afterwards, the doctor came in to see her. And by then, the coffee, she had for breakfast, seemed to wake her up.
Also, the nurse had to give her, another blood transfusion, being she has lost a lot of blood throughout the night. However, the best thing about it was that she survived through the night. And she, no longer, was in danger of having any complications.
In the meantime, Brody’s jus waking up. And upon realizing, he’s in the lobby, he’s having a hard time, figuring out what he’s doing there, at first. However, the doctor walked into the lobby, and said to Brody, sounding surprised, “Why don’t you go down to the cafeteria, and get yourself something to eat and have some coffee to wake yourself up? You don’t have to pay for any of it. You need to have some food inside your stomach, and some coffee, too.”
So, while he’s on his way to the cafeteria, then, a nurse was on her way down to the nursery. And upon her, arriving, there, little Madison has jus awakened. And a woman who works, there, is getting her, all freshened up. And in the meantime, the nurse is bringing her, something to eat from the cafeteria.
Upon the nurse, arriving inside the nursery with some food for Madison, she, already, is sitting down in a plastic blue chair jus her size. And she has a pretty white and pink bib on, so, that she won’t get her clothes all dirty. And Madison didn’t seem to be acting like she’s worried about mommy at this time. At least, if she was, it didn’t seem to be showing in her face. She’s so hungry, and all she seems to be thinking about is getting some food into her little tummy.
However, as soon as she’s finished eating her oatmeal, jus as her daddy showed up inside the nursery, she, immediately, perked up. She’s sporting a look of curiosity on her face in, finally, having her mommy on her mind.
In the meantime, Cher Bear is being all freshened up by a nurse right inside her room. The nurse is in the process of giving her, a nice sponge bath right at the sink.
And jus after the sponge bath, and, finally, having her own blue robe on over her green and white hospital gown, the nurse said to her, trying to act like she is concerned about Cher Bear’s health, “Don’t worry about your little one. Brody has jus been sent down to the nursery to fetch her. And as soon as she’s through eating her oatmeal, he’s going to bring her back up to the lobby. And there, he’s going to do his best to keep her, company, while the discharge papers are being filled out by the doctor. Its okay for you to go back home, now, being you’re in stable condition according to the doctor’s report.
However, you’re going to need to rest the rest of the week. And you’re far from ready to be able to go back to work, yet. However, it’s okay for you to work off the internet as long as you don’t spend more than two hours at a time, there, without taking a ten minute break. However, there’s no traveling for you except for Brody to get you back home, again, so, you can get all the rest, you need. And the discharge papers will explain all you need to do while at home, resting. And don’t forget, you’ve been through a trying time, yesterday, when you had that unexplained miscarriage.”
In the meantime, jus as Brody walked inside the nursery to get Madison. She, then, grew real frantic jus as she caught eye of him, there. She has this look on her face like if someone dropped a bomb on her. So, she jus ran out of the nursery and right down the hall as fast as her little feet could carry her.
So, the woman who worked in the nursery and Brody came running after his little one. And jus as they reached her as she’s all cooped up in a corner, she tried to squeeze right out of his arms. So, he jus grabbed onto her, and held her, tightly. He was holding onto her jus as he used to when she used to be jus a baby, although, she, still, was a baby to him being she hasn’t grown very much for her age, yet.
And Madison said to him while he’s holding onto her, snugly, “C’mon, leave me, alone. I want to see mommy. And I want to run away with mommy. Because I know, she lost my baby sister. And I want to help her, find her.”
Brody said to her in frenzy, still, holding onto her, “I don’t know how to say this to you. Your baby sister didn’t run away. She jus disappeared. And as she did, she jus floated up to Heaven above the clouds to be with the angels. Mommy lost your baby sister. And there’s no way, your baby sister came come back to earth, again, except through your dreams, my girl.”
She was lost at what words to say to her daddy. So, she, jus, suddenly, turned very quiet. And then, Brody took her by the hand. And he, then, has to carry her in his arms up to the lobby, again.
Once there, he said to her, “Let’s wait, here, for mommy. The doctor said it’s alright for her to come back home, again. While we’re waiting for her, I’ll hold you on my lap. And then, in your way, help me; say a prayer for mommy and your lost baby sister. So, someday, your lost baby sister comes back inside mommy. So, that, one day, you can have a baby sister of your own. And maybe, some day, your mommy will give you, a baby brother.”
So, he caught eye of Cher Bear. She was walking towards him, no longer, in tears. However, she, still, was feeling sad over losing her baby.
So, she said to him in a desperate voice, “Jus before we leave please hold me. And be sure to pray for me. So, that I’ll stay alright. I’m, still, feeling a little weak. However, the doctor has given me, some pills to take to keep me, calm. This is so that when I get back home, I’ll be able to get enough rest. He, also, gave me, some sleeping pills to help me, sleep at night. So, my dear little girl Madison, I’m alright. And I can come home with you and daddy.”
“Daddy jus told me that my baby sister floated away to Heaven. Is that true, mommy?”
“Yes, its true, my dear little girl. In fact, daddy and I are going to work on finding your baby sister. I don’t know how we’re going to go about it. However, he’s going to keep trying. This is so that I’ll end up with another baby inside me, again, some day. However, I don’t’ have any idea when it’s going to happen. And since, you want a baby sister, badly; a baby sister is what we are going to work on, my dear Madison.”
So, then, Madison couldn’t say another word as her mother took her by the hand as Brody took her other hand as they all walked out the doors. And as they all arrived at the sidewalk, an intern was waiting, there, with a wheelchair which he pushed Cher Bear in over to the car as Brody followed him. And as they were on their way to the car, little Madison was sitting in her mommy’s lap.
And once, they all arrived at the car, the intern were nice enough to open the door for Cher Bear. And then, after he helped her into the car, he shut the door for her. And Brody picked up Madison into his arms. Then, he set her in the back seat in her car seat. And he fastened her in her seat. This was so she wouldn’t far out of the car seat while Brody drove her and her mommy back home, again.
And upon them all arriving back home, again, because Cher Bear was kind of weak, he held onto her hand with Madison on the other side of Brody. And once, they all were inside Brody’s house. He made Cher Bear like down with Madison curled up on the day bed with her.
However, Madison wouldn’t stay on the couch. So, then, Brody took it upon himself to see that she got to her room. And once there, he helped her into her kitty blue and white pajamas. Once, she’s in bed, he pulled the covers over her. She fell right to sleep after he read a story to her. Then, he got ready for bed, and went right to bed, himself.
However, jus after he fell asleep, he heard Madison, come running over to the bed. And once there, she said to him in a sorrowful voice, “Can I sleep with you, daddy? I jus had a nightmare about my baby sister. And can’t fall back to sleep, again.”
“Okay, my dear little girl, give me, your arm,” as she hopped onto the bed. And then, once, she was lying beside her daddy, she fell asleep in no time at all. And her daddy was surprised, that she could sleep through the rest of the night in mommy’s spot.
In the morning, Cher Bear didn’t dare get up out of the daybed until Brody came downstairs. And happened to wake up before she did. And he allowed their little girl to jus lay on the bed for now because she, still, is sound asleep. At least, to him, she appeared to be sleeping, soundly.
In the meantime, he was sitting up on the bed. He’s trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes. As he looked at the alarm clock, he has a surprised look in his eyes as he jus happened to notice Madison, still, lying on the bed. However, as he woke up somewhat, him, then, realized, Cher Bear, still, was downstairs on the daybed. And she wouldn’t get out of bed that early. She, still, is feeling a little weak from her miscarriage.
Little Madison wouldn’t even talk to her daddy at first, and then, said to him, “Where’s mommy at? Is she at work right now? I want to see mommy, now. I want her to give me, a baby sister.”
“Don’t worry about that, my dear. Mommy and I are going to give you, another baby sister, some day. We are going to try hard to do this for you. First, she has to rest a couple of weeks. And she can’t even go back to work, right now. She has to recover from what she went through while at the hospital.”
So, then, Madison said to him, “Daddy, please help me, get dressed. And then, carry me, downstairs. So, I can get something in my tummy. I want to eat with you and mommy. I want some pop tarts, those yummy things with frosting on them.”
“Okay, my dear Madison, did you have enough sleepy eyes?”
“Yes, daddy, I slept like a cat, last night. In fact, my teddy bear took me to see mommy, last night.”
“What do you mean by that, my dear Madison? You must have dreamed about your favorite toy, your teddy bear. A teddy bear isn’t alive. It’s only a stuffed toy. I took you to see mommy, last night, when she was at the hospital.”
“But daddy, my teddy bear grew as tall as me. And then, he waited on me, and gave me, my favorite cereal.”
“That must have been in your dream, darling. Your teddy bear is good to you, isn’t he?”
“Yes, he is, daddy. Now, that my pj’s are put away, and I’m dressed. Please take me to mommy. And if she’s, still, having sleepy eyes. I won’t wake her up. I’ll lie down next to her until she isn’t having sleepy eyes.”
Cher Bear has some strength back from having had a miscarriage. And she, now, is strong enough after a two week’s time to travel in her car, again. So, one day, Brody woke her up in the morning, and he said to her with loving eyes, “C’mon my darling Cher Bear. Today I have to take you to see your doctor. You need a follow-up after having had your miscarriage which was pretty rough on you.”
Upon her, getting up off the couch, she jus had some breakfast on a portable tray. So, then, she said to him with much confidence in her voice, “I’m alright, Brody, don’t worry about me. I’m strong enough that I can walk over to the doctor on my own. After all his office is, only, down the street.”
Then, she walked over to the kitchen table and grabbed whatever she needed to take with her to her appointment. Then, as she was walking over to the front door, she said to him, “Now, I’m going to leave for my appointment. So that I don’t have to take Madison with me, please feed her and watch her for me while I see the doctor. I can manage for myself. So, I’ll see you in about an hour and a half or so. It doesn’t take me long to see him.”
As little Madison walked up to her, she said to her mommy, “Where are you, going mommy? Can I go with you?”
“I’m afraid that I have to go alone to see my doctor. He won’t allow me to take you with me being I can’t go see the doctor otherwise. Daddy has to watch you while I’m gone. Don’t worry, my darling Madison. I’ll be back home before you know it.”
“Why mommy, can’t anyone over at the doctor’s office, keep an eye on me?”
“No, my darling Madison, they don’t have any babysitter over there to watch you. I’ll be back home soon. Goodbye, my darling Madison.”
“Bye, bye, mommy,” said Madison as Cher Bear gave her, a big hug and kiss.
So, then, before Brody realized it. Cher Bear was on her way to see her doctor. And on the way, she happened to get a little wet. Because it was raining a misty rain and foggy as she walked over there to her doctor’s office.
As she walked inside the doctor’s office, a lady signed her in. And jus as she was about to sit down, the doctor walked out into the lobby. And with a surprised look in his eyes as she was a little wet, he said to her, “Oh, good morning, Cher Bear. I jus hope that you aren’t feeling weak anymore as you, surely, had a rough miscarriage over there at the hospital.”
“Oh, after all those transfusions, I’m sure, I’m jus fine, doctor.”
So, then, he said, “Jus call me Michael from now on. We know each other pretty well by now. It’s not necessary to call me by my official name, anymore.
So, he took her by the hand as he led her into his office. And as they walked inside his office, he said to her, “Okay, my dear, jus lie down and make yourself, comfortable. If you want to sit up instead that’s jus fine. However, you look pretty good. So, jus sit in the chair, here, and I’ll be right with you.”
She noticed that as she sat down in the chair. And picked up a magazine to look at, that he has this sparkle in his eyes. And so, as he walked back inside a half hour later, a sudden urge hit her inside. And she didn’t know why. However, something made her, literally, jump into his arms.
As he caught her in his arms, he said to her in a surprised voice, “What in the world, has come over you? I thought you were, happily, married, and I know you have a little girl. Because you, always, like to remark about her.”
So, she replied, also, surprised, “Whenever did you get the idea, that I’m, happily, married? I’ve never been married at any time in my life. In fact, ever since, my miscarriage, I’ve been feeing so empty inside. This feeling seems to be driving me, crazy. And I think you, always, have been very nice to me, doctor.”
Then, he said to her, still, surprised, “I can say that you, surely, are driving me crazy. It’s a good thing that I’m not married, either. Because I think you’re a real nice and interesting woman. And I would like you to be mine, also.”
Jus after he got through checking her out, then, he said to her, “I don’t have any more patients at this time. At least, I don’t have another one until about a half hour from now. I don’t know how to put this to you. Please lie down on the bed, there. I’ll be right with you.”
In fact, he was, only, gone from the room for a couple minutes. And as he came back inside the room, she, still, was lying down on the bed. In fact, she was asleep, so he knew, he had to do something like reduce the amount of medicine, he was giving her. So, then, he eliminated the sleeping pill from her medicine routine. And she didn’t seem to mind this change, either.
Then, before she realized what was going on, he, literally, flung himself on top of her. And then, she, frantically, upon waking up, started kissing him, ever so passionately. And he was doing the same. Jus as they were going to get into making love, a nurse walked in, and looked at them with a surprised look on her face. She happened to catch them, still, inside the room. And she wondered what they had been up to as he, almost, missed his next patient.
So, she jumped up off the bed, and then, said to her, “Well,” as the nurse walked out of the room, after saying to him, “Your next patient is waiting for you.
So he said to her, “Well, my darling, you seem to be doing quite well after having that miscarriage. However, you must continue to have extra rest for a couple more weeks or so. Then, if you need to, you can travel all you want. But, by then, you should be, fully, recovered from your miscarriage. But it might take longer to recover, emotionally, from it. So, bye for now, and here’s your next appointment,” as he handed her, a card with his name on it.
As she arrived over at the house, she jus walked inside the house when her daughter happened to notice her lipstick was smeared. So, she said to her mommy, “What’s that on your face, mommy? You have something red on your cheek. Don’t let daddy, see your face. He jus might chase you out of the house.”
“Now, my darling Madison, daddy isn’t going to chase me out of his house. I jus came back from seeing my doctor. And he told me, I’m doing pretty well. In fact, it jus happens that he’s a good doctor. Its lunchtime, so, come with me, and I’ll get you some lunch. How about a peanut butter sandwich with Oreo cookies. Doesn’t that sound good to you?”
“Yes, it does, mommy. I’m very hungry, and need some food in my tummy.”
Cher Bear was very surprised that she, still, talked like she was jus a little girl when she has a mind of a five-year old. Still, she was pretty smart for her age, and, still, she was going to start Kindergarten, pretty soon.
When the evening came around, Cher Bear, suddenly, felt like she has the urge to go over to the Duvall retail store. And she knew she couldn’t take Madison with her because she knew that Brody could do something with her for once. And another thing was that the doctor was supposed to meet her, there, too, tonight.
So, she said to Brody, “Do something for me for once. I’m the one who, usually, has to look after Madison. And I don’t think she should go with to the store because there has, always, been a chance, she can get lost when I’m checking on how the business is doing. So, will you look after our little girl, for once, and stop placing the responsibility on me, all the time. I am well enough to run the business, again. And she wants to spend time with her daddy as well as her mother. It’s important that both her mommy and daddy try to find time to spend with her.”
“I hope this jus isn’t because I’ve lost my job over at the factory because I don’t want all the responsibility of taking care of Madison, thrown on my shoulders all the time.”
“No, it isn’t Brody; in fact, you know darn well that she likes playing games with you like hide-and-seek.”
“I don’t understand why she doesn’t have any friends around the area to play with. She should be playing with kids, her age, not jus me and you. Doesn’t she have any friends over at the school, who she loves to play with?”
“I’m sure, she does, but I can’t understand myself why she can’t find anyone around in the neighborhood, who she loves playing with. I know she’s too young to have a boyfriend, but I’m sure she would love to meet the new neighbors jus down the street who have some kids around Madison’s age, especially, a boy who she wouldn’t mind meeting. So, while I’m gone over at the store, take her over to the new neighbors’ house, and introduce her to, at least, the kids who live there. There’s, at least, one kid who lives, there, a young boy about her age. I’m sure she would love meeting him.”
“So, what is it, exactly, you would want me to do with Madison while you’re gone at the store? What if she doesn’t take to young boys, yet?”
“Don’t forget she’s very smart for her age. So, I’m sure she’ll get along with the new boy in the neighborhood. Also, I’m sure she would like to have a young boyfriend around her age, too. So, take her down there, and get her acquainted with this new boy. Then, they won’t mind, watching her, too, while I’m gone. If there happens to be any misunderstanding or trouble between Madison and the new boy, jus tell one of the new neighbors to bring her back home, again. And then, try, again, another time. It might take some time for the boy and Madison to get used to each other.”
As Cher Bear was heading out the front door, she said, “Bye for now, Brody and I wish you good luck with the new neighbors. In fact, the young boy is a nice one. I jus happened to run into him on the way home from the doctor’s office. And the kid was nice enough to tell me, he would like to meet my little girl.”
So, then, Cher Bear hopped into the family car, and before Brody realized it, she was on her way over to the retail store. So, in the meanwhile, since, Brody has jus served dinner to both Cher Bear and Madison, he then, said to Madison, “Would you like to meet the new boy down the street? He’s a very nice boy because mommy ran into him on the way home from the doctor’s office. And he even said he would like to meet you.”
Jus as Madison was finished with her dinner, Brody has her, wash her face and hands, since, she got them, very dirty, from the spaghetti, she jus ate. So, since, she is nice and clean now, Brody, then, said to her, “What will it be, now, my girl? Would you like to meet the new neighbor, Ted?”
“Yes, I would, daddy. I’ve been going to kindergarten, and every boy, I meet, there, seems to be real nice to me. So, I’m sure that Ted will be real nice to me, too.”
So, then, he took her by the hand, and upon the two, walking out the front door, and after Brody made sure, it was locked, the two walked down to the new neighbors’ house. And once, they arrived at the house which was a small house but nicely built with white aluminum siding around the house. It even has a nice front porch in front of the house.
As Brody and Madison reached the front door, Brody rang the doorbell. And only a couple of minutes later, a women with long reddish, curly hair and a nice, trim build came to the front door. Upon her, opening the front door, she said to Brody, “Aren’t you two the neighbors’ jus down the street?”
“Yes, we are,” replied Brody in an anxious voice, “in fact, only about a few hours ago, my girlfriend, Cher Bear, happened to run into your son, Ted. And my daughter, her, Madison, would like to meet your son. Is he around at this time? I mean is he home, right now?”
“In fact, he is home; jus a minute, wait right there by the door. I’ll be right with you; I have to go to the back yard. I think that Ted may, still, be playing back there, yet. In fact, come around to the backyard with me, and bring your daughter with you,” she replied with much confidence in her voice as she walked out the front door.
So, jus as they all arrived in the backyard, sure enough, Ted was there, playing around with his motorized red Chevy which he was playing with through a remote control on a wire. And as Ted happened to notice Brody and Madison in the backyard, he set the remote control from the car on the porch. And then, he walked up to them with stars in his eyes. Right away, Brody jus knew that Madison and Ted would get along with each other. He has that kind of feeling inside of him.
In the meanwhile, Cher Bear was jus arriving over at the Duvall retail store because it was time to take care of the monthly inventory, again. And there at the store, being it was the doctor’s day off, jus as she arrived inside the back of the store, she jus happened to run into the doctor.
And the two jus stood there in the back room for a moment or so, jus staring at each other. Cher Bear didn’t expect the doctor to be there at the store. And the doctor didn’t expect her to be there, either.
After clearing his throat, he said to her in a surprised voice, “What is it that brings you, here, to the store, today? I jus happened to come here because I needed a new pair of shoes for myself. And being today is my day off; I decided to embark on this issue, today.”
“It jus so happens that I was able to, finally, get my boyfriend, Brody, to take my daughter, Madison, to meet the new neighbors down the street. And since, my daughter is going to kindergarten, now, I figured that she might like to meet the new boy, Ted, down the street.”
“This, really, is a coincidence, Cher Bear, because I’ve jus met the new neighbors, myself, lately. And I think that the boy’s parents, Michele and Michael are very nice persons.”
Then, Cher Bear proceeded over to a computer where she was going to work on the monthly inventory. However, when the doctor noticed she was sitting down at her computer in the back room of the retail store, she said to him upon hearing his footsteps, “You’re not spying on me, are you, now? I’m, here, to check on the business, how it’s been coming along because my computer at home has gone on the blink. And I have to wait until the computer guy comes to the house, tomorrow, to fix my computer for me. And it’s a good thing that I have all of my stuff concerning my business on disks because otherwise, I wouldn’t have known the first step to take to get my business back together.”
“You’re kidding me, Cher Bear; you mean that you could have lost all that data on your sales with your business if it wasn’t for disks being invented? That would have been a big mess at that if that would have happened to you. Do you mind if I pull up a chair, and jus sit near you while you are trying to get everything concerning your business sales, organized, here?”
She didn’t know that he has something up his sleeve, so, she said to him in a surprised voice, “Go ahead, jus don’t disturb me because I don’t want to goof up on anything on the sales. It’s a good thing that my monthly inventory isn’t due yet like I thought it was be because it would have been pretty hard to get the monthly inventory going without my computer at home. This is because I need to go through the internet in order to do my inventory. Also, I have all the information, I need on a template on my computer, and it’s a good thing, I, also, have that information kept on a special disc.”
However, jus after he pulled the chair up next to her, she jus happened to notice that he has that starry look in his eyes. It’s his special look whenever he’s up to something, or has something planned to stir her away from her work over at the store or wherever she jus happens to be at that time.
So, she said to him, “If you have something special in mind for now, you better put a hold on it because I jus might end up being held up, here, at the store for a couple hours or so. Can’t it wait until later on, my buddy,” as she could sense that he, really, is starting to act kind of off track at this time.
“Well, what are you, going to be working on at this time, and how long do you think, it will take to finish at the most?”
“Since, my computer is on the blink at home, plan to have me, stuck at this computer for a few hours, that’s about three hours, at least. That’s how long I’m, usually, working on my sales bit when I’m at home. I’m careful to limit myself to a certain amount of hours being that when I’m at home, I, also, have my daughter to tend to besides doing my work for my business. And if I don’t spend enough time with my daughter, then, Brody tends to get all hyped up, and so does Madison.”
So, after she turned some music on, on her computer over at the retail store, and got settled into working on making enough sales for the day and part of the afternoon, too, she didn’t realize, exactly, how long she has been on her computer until four hours had passed by. And by that time, her doctor buddy had fallen asleep for about an hour, and also, had been to the cafeteria to get something to eat and some coffee to help him, stay awake.
In fact, by now, the amount of food which he had brought back from the cafeteria, jus happened to, still, be warm by now. And when she was done on her computer which she, only, used in an emergency and for her monthly inventory, she couldn’t believe how long she has been stuck on her computer. So, in jus finishing up the last sales bit, she was so hungry and thirsty, that she didn’t even realize, at first, jus how long she has been without any food or coffee.
Since, her doctor buddy has brought some yummy food like her favorite turkey sub along with some coffee and diet pop, she, finally, was able to close out the last deal on her computer. And she, really, was ready for that turkey sub being it, now, was early evening. Also, she couldn’t believe that she hadn’t heard from her boyfriend, all this time, on how Madison did over at the neighbor’s house.
So, then, being her doctor buddy has dozed off for a short nap; she had to wake him up. And as soon as he was awake after she tapped him on the arm, she was wondering where her food and drink were at. So, she asked him in a loud voice that, really, woke him up, “C’mon now, my boy,” which happened to be her nickname for him being she, always, has a hard time, remembering his real name, “I can’t believe that you fell asleep. I thought that you jus loved listening to the music which I’ve put on for you. Maybe, you need some more coffee in you, and by the way, have you had any supper, yet, my boy?”
“Yes, my Cher Bear, jus before I fell asleep, here, only, about a half hour ago,” he said as he peered at his watch, “I have had some coffee and a turkey sub like the two subs, I have brought back from the cafeteria for you. I hope that you’re hungry enough by now to eat, at least, one of the subs.”
“In fact, I am very hungry; I’ve jus realized how empty my stomach feels, right now. And do you have some hot coffee, handy for me, also? I could use some, right now, as I’m starting to feel very tired from working on my computer, all day long. In fact, I’d better give Brody, a call. I’m sure he must be waiting to hear from me. Also, I hope that my computer is fixed by tomorrow afternoon at the latest because I can’t go on much longer without the use of my computer at home. I have to be able to have enough time to spend with Brody and my little girl, too.”
So, then, both Cher Bear and her doctor buddy had some coffee besides a turkey sub. And as soon as they were finished eating, Cher Bear got her cell phone out of her pocket, and tried to get in touch with Brody over at his house.
So, upon calling him on her cell phone, she couldn’t get any answer. So, then, she called over at the neighbors’ house, and finally, he answered the phone. So, then, he said to her in a frantic voice, “Where have you been all this time? Madison has been wondering for a couple of hours now where you are at? Are you, still, by the way, over at the retail store? And by the way, the computer guy is over at the house. I let him in jus before I walked over here to get Madison. I’ll be right home, and don’t worry, I can trust the guy. He’s a good friend of mine from the army by the way.”
She answered in a surprise voice because her doctor friend was over there at the store. So, she said to Brody, “Where do you think I am at? I’m sure can’t be anywhere else except over at the retail store. You know darn well that my computer isn’t in working condition, right now. And that I have been caught up in my work in sales for the store for all this time. You sound as if I committed a crime or something. As soon as my computer is in working order at home, I’ll be able to get back into working off my computer instead of being caught up in work over here at the store. Are you going to take Madison right home, now? I, certainly, don’t want that guy over at the house when I don’t even know who this guy is. You never know, even though, you knew this guy from the army, he, still, could have turned into a different person, since, that time.”
“Don’t worry about anything, my darling Cher Bear. I’m on my way back home right now, and Madison is with me, too. Madison, did you want to talk to mommy, right now? She’s on the phone, she wants to know how you like the new neighbor, Ted. C’mon here’s the phone, my dear.”
As Madison put the phone by her ear, she said in a happy voice to her mommy, “Oh, hi, mommy, where are you, right now? Did you beat us home, yet?”
“No, my darling little girl, I’m over at the store, yet. You know that store, I, always; take you to when I buy you clothes and stuff? Well, that’s where I am at this time, and as soon as I finish my work over at the store, I’ll be right home.”
“You know something, mommy? That boy, Ted, who I jus met, today. Well, he is a real nice boy, and he seems to like me a little bit. And he’s very friendly with me, and treats me like if I was his stuffed toy.”
“I’m glad to hear that the two of you are getting along so nice. How do you like Ted? Do you think that you’ll like him to be your boyfriend, some day?”
“Yes, I do, mommy. I don’t, really, know what having a boyfriend all is about, yet. But, I’m sure that Ted will make a real nice boyfriend when the two of us become buddies if we ever become that way.”
“Well, my darling Madison, you never know what is going to happen between you two. In fact, I’ve had a few boyfriends when I was young like you are. And at least one of them, have been a boyfriend of mine. Well, my darling, I try to get home as fast as I can. I’ll see you soon, my darling Madison. Bye for now. See you at home.”
“Bye, mommy, see you later.”
“Bye, my darling Madison, see you later, too. And tell daddy, I said hi, too. I have to get going because the store is going to close soon. And I don’t want to get caught at the store, all night long,” which she said to her daughter jus so that her and her doctor friend could get down to business before her daughter started suspecting that she was up to something other than being concerned about spending time with her, that evening.
So, as soon as Cher Bear was off the phone, her doctor buddy, still, was at the store. Then, it seemed, as though, a dart was traveling through her, and caused her to jump right into his arms, almost, knocking him and her both off their chairs.
“Boy, my dear Cher Bear, what has, suddenly, come over you? I can’t believe what you jus tried to do. You, almost, made you and me both end up on the floor back here in the storage room. Do you have something on your mind at this time? You seem to be acting very strange, all of a sudden.”
“It’s jus that some sudden urge overcame me. And this urge seems to hit me, every time, I happen to see you over at the doctor’s office, too. I think that I might be falling for you, doctor. I hope that you aren’t taking this, too personally, right now. It’s jus that I’ve taken a liking for you. It isn’t that I don’t love Brody, anymore. I jus hope that that’s not the case because every time, I happen to see you whether it be at the doctor’s office or at this store or anywhere else, something seems to make me, jump into your arms.”
“Well, I think that we should do something about this urge. What time do you have to be back home for your boyfriend and Madison? This is because I jus hope that you aren’t in a hurry to get back home, yet.”
“I want to spend some time with my daughter, tonight, but right now, I am somewhat mad at Brody for not giving me a call, this afternoon. He was supposed to call me as soon as he got a chance. He knew darn well that I, probably, would be stuck at the retail store for a few hours, today. And that it was because my computer isn’t in full working order, yet. At least, he hasn’t told me when the guy is supposed to be through working on my computer, and getting it fixed, so that I can get back to doing my sales routine at home, again.”
“C’mon my darling Cher Bear,” he said as he carried her in his arms over to where there happened to be a mattress, lying on the floor. And this mattress has been left, there, in the back room, from another time in which someone had to spend a night or two over at the retail store.
So, then, as he carried her over to the mattress, he lay her down, gently, on it. And then, he hopped on it, himself, and before they realized what was going on, the two were, literally, kissing each other. And then, the two jus started touching each other like something jus exploded from inside them. However, since, Cher Bear has to get back home to her boyfriend and her daughter; the two didn’t get any further.
So, then, the two, suddenly, jumped off the mattress.
Cher Bear didn’t want Brody, finding out about what’s been going on between her and her doctor buddy, she took off first in the red Cadillac. And then, after she has pulled out of the parking lot, and is well on her way back to Brody’s house, only then, did her doctor buddy head on his way back home.
And since, he was living by himself; he didn’t have to worry about getting back home to anyone, right away. However, since, he’s feeling very tired, and has to get up for work, the next morning, quite early in the morning, he made sure, he got home, right away.
After this time, every time, which was every two weeks, when Cher Bear had to walk over to the doctor’s office for an appointment, Brody started getting leery. This was it seemed that every time from now on, on which she went over there for an appointment, she, always, gave Brody, an excuse for being gone for more time than the appointment was for. In fact, her excuse, always, seemed to turn out the same. That the doctor ended up, having some emergency case, and wasn’t back at the office, right away when he should have been for his appointments.
So, the next time, she went over to the doctor’s office for her appointment, Brody didn’t want her, seeing the doctor anymore because he could seem to sense what was going on between her and the doctor. And that it was more than seeing him for an appointment.
When she didn’t want to stop seeing her doctor because she couldn’t seem to find another doctor who would see her, every two weeks, then, Brody demanded that he take her over there, himself. And the first time that he took her over to the doctor’s office for her appointment, he seemed to be waiting in the lobby for over an hour.
So, then, he walked up to the desk, and demanded that he have a talk with one of the nurses who was under the doctor. And when that didn’t work at first, he, then, demanded that he talk to the doctor, himself. And when it came to that, then, one of the nurses under the doctor said to him, “What is it you want, now? Your girlfriend, Cher Bear, will be right out. It shouldn’t be much longer because he has another appointment with a guy in about fifteen minutes.”
When it turned out to be more than fifteen minutes, then, the nurse walked right into the room where Cher Bear was being seen. And as she entered the room, she jus happened to catch Cher Bear, lying down on the bed. And the doctor was sporting a weird look on his face. So, then, she knew that the doctor has been up to something besides seeing Cher Bear for her appointment.
And then, as she walked out of the room, she then, went over to Brody who, still, was sitting in the lobby. And as she arrived where he was sitting, and noticed an angry look on his face, she said to him in a frantic voice, “As far as I have been able to see, neither Cher Bear nor the doctor have been up to anything in the room. You see, there’s something going on between them. However, it seems whenever the doctor sees her that the two are, always, in the room past the recommended time for seeing a patient.”
“Okay, nurse, thank you for telling me this. I’m going to have a good talk with Cher Bear, myself. I’ll see that this doesn’t ever happen, again, because she is my woman, not his.”
So, jus as Cher Bear was coming out of the room, she noticed that Brody has an angry look on his face. Also, he wasn’t aware until now, that Madison was with her, and also, she has a suitcase in her hand. So, he said to her in an angry voice, “What in the world are you doing with a suitcase? And it’s not usual for you to bring Madison with you for an appointment. I thought that little girls aren’t allowed in the room with their mommies when the mother has an appointment with the doctor.”
She replied in a curious voice, “It jus so happens that while you were waiting in the lobby, all this time, that Madison walked over here on her own. Also, she’s the one who brought this suitcase over to me.”
“Is that right, Cher Bear, and Madison, what in the world are you doing in walking over here to the doctor’s office on your own?”
“As of today, mommy and I are moving in with the doctor.”
“Since when have you and Cher Bear decided to move out of my house?”
Then, Cher Bear with Madison beside her in the lobby area, said to Brody, “You can’t stop me from moving out of your house. In the first place, Madison and I never would have decided to move out if you would have taken a responsibility from when I first moved with you with my daughter to watch over her and keep her, company. So, you haven’t been doing your part, so, Madison, here, is now, afraid of you.”
“Why should she be afraid of me? I never did anything at any time to hurt her in any way. I never have abused her in my life.”
“Well,” said Cher Bear in a frantic voice, “The doctor jus happened to check her over, today, because she came into this office, crying her head off. And he found marks all over her body, and no one else could have done this to her, not even the computer guy who fixed my computer. In fact, he likes her jus like his own daughter, and by the way, the doctor who I am in love with, also, loves her like his own daughter. So, as of today, Madison and I are moving out of your house, and you can’t do anything to stop us because I’ve got a court order to have custody of her. Also, this court order says that you aren’t even to come near Madison, anymore. Because if you try to get near her in any way, or even find out where we are going to be living, and come by the house, you’re going to end up in jail for this.”
“No,” said Brody in a desperate voice, “Madison is my daughter as well as yours, and I never would do anything to hurt her in any way. You can’t do this to me; I love her, very much.”
However, since, the doctor’s shift was about over, Brody couldn’t do anything about the situation. So, then, one of the other doctors said to him, “You are to leave the premises, now, or else, I’m going to get the police to come over here and take you away. Is that clear, now, Brody?”
He wouldn’t leave; so then, the doctor had a nurse call over at the police station. And in no time at all, the police were over at the doctor’s office, and one of the police walked inside and said to Brody, “Leave this place, immediately, or you will be forced out of here, and be taken into our custody.”
So, then, without saying another word, Brody walked right out of the doctor’s office. And then, he headed for the family car, but the police wouldn’t allow him to get into the car. Then, Cher Bear’s friend, her doctor buddy, forced Brody to give him, the keys to the car. And then, he hopped into the car and being he didn’t bring his car, he then, drove Cher Bear and Madison right over to his house.
The doctor’s house wasn’t too far away. And as soon as he, Cher Bear and Madison arrived at his house, then, Madison started crying. It wasn’t because she missed her daddy. In fact, she didn’t miss him at all after the way, he’s been treating her. These were tears of happiness from her, and jus after Cher Bear put her bed, and read her favorite bedtime story to her.
And then, when Cher Bear was sure that her little girl was asleep on the doctor’s bed, then, the two of them joined each other in his bed which was a water bed. So, the bed felt weird to her because she’s never been on a water bed before. In fact, she felt as she was floating in a sea of water which was never-ending.
In fact, she jus jumped on top of her friend. And then, the two of them, got into kissing each other, wildly, with so much passion, that the passion inside her, jus seemed to melt like chocolate candy. And as they got into touching each other, the passion kept building up inside of them. And then, the two got into making love, so quickly, that neither of them thought of using any protection. She was on birth control pills, but, although, she has them with her, she forgot to take one, that day, and forget it, that night, too.
She didn’t have to fight for custody of her daughter because she never married Brody. So, she didn’t have to bring their case to court except to get that court order which she has, already, to be granted full custody of her little one. And since, her doctor friend, already, got that order to keep Brody away from Cher Bear and her child; they didn’t have to worry about that one, either.
Now, the two of them, Cher Bear and her doctor friend were into making love. And they were so passionate with each other by now, that both of them felt a heat inside them like they never did before in life. This was because neither of them has ever been able to keep a boyfriend or girlfriend in their lives up until now.
In fact, only, a month later, Cher Bear started getting morning sickness. So, when she started experiencing this morning sickness, she had a pregnancy test. And there was no doubt that he has gotten her, pregnant. There was even a DNA test done to confirm that the baby belonged to him. And he, definitely, was the father of this baby.
So, jus in knowing that she was pregnant with him, being the sole father of the baby, made them both feel so good inside. And he knew in the future, that when she had her baby, that he was going to have to quit his job as a doctor. However, he didn’t, fully, quit his job.
He, instead, made part of his house, his basement, into a doctor’s office, and then, had patients come to see him in that part of the house which Cher Bear didn’t mind at all. Not that she had any say in the matter. But since, she was living with him, permanently, in the same house; this didn’t even bother him, a bit.
One thing which, really, surprised both Cher Bear and the doctor, was that Brody didn’t dare try to come over there to the house. By the way, there’s no way, he could ever find out where they were living be cause the doctor’s number was unlisted. Also, he had gotten a new number, so, that Brody couldn’t call over there, and try to get Madison back as a daughter, or harass Cher Bear in any way.
In fact, one day, when Brody’s child abuse case was brought to court, he didn’t have any good defense attorney to defend him in any way. This, mainly, was because he couldn’t prove that he hadn’t abused his child. In fact, he was proven guilty during the court case. And then, he was given a life sentence without parole.
So, there’s no way, he could break out of jail because if he even tried to do this, he was going to be placed in the electric chair. So, then, he was stuck in jail for the rest of his life.
And somehow, Cher Bear found out that he was in jail. So, this gave her, a happier life with her daughter and the doctor friend of hers.
So, Brody’s trust for Cher Bear has gone downhill. And there’s nothing he can do to get her back in his life jus because he’s in jail now for life. Neither was he ever able to get a job in a factory or anywhere else, again, for that matter.
Once, Brody tried to send Cher Bear, a fake DNA test in the mail jus before being taken to jail. However, it never worked out because her doctor friend had the letter examined by a professional. And that’s when the doctor found out that Brody, somehow, managed to forge the letter to the doctor’s address.
Once, Brody did manage, somehow, to break out of jail. And he was harassing Cher Bear for a few months until the FBI tracked him and then, he was put back in jail in the electric chair. And that was the end of him, and when Cher Bear found out about this, there was no remorse from either her or Madison.
And Madison had started hating him from the very time, he started abusing her. However, he never was able to get around to raping her because he was caught by the FBI before he ever had a chance to try this on her at any time.
Because both Cher Bear and her doctor friend, now, her indefinite lover and father of Madison and the new baby yet to be born, he, now, is the official father of Madison because he got papers through court, confirming custody of Madison.
So, then, the day came when Cher Bear started having labor pains. And at the time, she was about eight months along in her pregnancy. So, then, it’s a good thing that her doctor friend and good lover has his practice at home. Because even though, he has his doctor’s office in his basement, she jus has to call him on his cell phone.
And as soon as he heard his cell phone, playing Cher Bear’s favorite song, he was in the middle of seeing a patient. However, the patient’s complaints were severe, so, then, he gave his patient, a prescription, for pain because all she has is a case of the flu. And the medicine, he gave her, is the type of medicine that is for viruses. Also, he gave her, a flu vaccine, which, also, was going to help her, get over her virus faster than if she never had the vaccine and medicine.
So, as soon as his patient left the room, he, quickly, answered his cell phone. And he was very surprised to find out that Cher Bear has jus gone into labor. Since, Madison was with Cher Bear; he then, managed to put Madison to sleep for her nap. Then, he went ahead, and, quickly, upon noticing that Cher Bear’s water has broken, has his nurse clean her up. And then, when she was having contractions closer together, he drove her to the hospital, himself.
And upon having the nurse watch over Madison, he was free to take care of Cher Bear.
As soon as they reached the hospital, he, quickly, dropped off Cher Bear at the emergency entrance. And while an intern drove her to obstetrics, after Cher Bear’s doctor friend and lover parked his car. He, then, ran into the hospital and over to obstetrics, letting the doctors know there, that he was there at the hospital to help Cher Bear, deliver her baby.
So, then, he got himself all scrubbed up, while in the meantime, a nurse was getting Cher Bear ready for having her baby. She was somewhat scared being her, only, was eight months along in her pregnancy, however the nurse assured her that her baby was going to be okay. That it wasn’t uncommon for woman to, sometimes, deliver their babies at eight months along in their pregnancies.
Right after he was scrubbed up, he returned to obstetrics. And once there, he has one of the residents stay by Cher Bear’s side, so that he can cue her into her breathing technique which is used in Lamaze. She jus started taking her Lamaze classes when she started having her labor pains. So, she knew some about the Lamaze technique. It’s jus that she never had the chance to; actually, practice the breathing techniques along with the doctor friend of hers.
So, Cher Bear, now, was to the point that she needed some anesthesia to help her with her labor pains. However, she wanted to stay awake so that she could be awake to deliver her second baby. So, a nurse gave her, an epidural, which suited her jus fine. However, the labor pains seemed to start taking her over. And they were getting that way because she never has been able to practice breathing in such a way, not even with her first baby, so that in a way, it would help her get above her labor pains.
So, then, Cher Bear got to the point that she was screaming at the resident. So, since, he couldn’t take any more of her yelling, he, then, gathered some patience inside him, finally. And then, he kept making Cher Bear, take deep breaths, although, he was finding it very hard to put up with her screaming. When he couldn’t take any more of her screaming, he had to leave the room. And then, another resident took over for him, and now, Cher Bear was to the point of it being time for her to deliver her baby.
So, then, her doctor friend took over, and told her to start pushing very hard, as hard as she could with what energy, she has left in her. Then, the baby, finally, came out of her womb. And all she could cry, now, was ecstatic tears of happiness as her doctor friend has the resident, cut the cord on the baby. Then, after the baby was all cleaned up, her doctor friend placed the baby boy on her chest, so that she could hold him.
Then, in the meantime, the rest of the umbilical cord and the contents of the womb were being disposed of. And then, Cher Bear started breastfeeding her baby, and jus afterwards, when she was done, she wanted to get on her doctor friend’s cell phone. She, badly, wanted to give Madison, a call, and let her know about her baby brother. And after the nurse answered the phone, who was taking care of Madison, didn’t want to wake up Madison being it was too early in the morning. However, Madison overheard the phone, ringing, and the nurse made it to the bed to tell Madison, the good news.
So, then, the nurse told Madison being she was, partly, awake at this time, “Hey, Madison, guess what? Your mommy has jus given you, a baby brother. How do you like this?”
“I like this a lot, nurse. In fact, I wanted a baby boy for awhile, now. When is mommy going to be back home, again?”
“It’ll be a few days because the baby was born before nine months were up. They have to make sure that the baby is okay. And then, mommy will be back home before you know it.”
Then, in a few days, Cher Bear was picked up by her doctor friend. And as soon as Madison saw his car pull up in the driveway, she ran outside, all happy inside. And as soon as she saw Cher Bear get out of the car, a blue Korvette, she gave her mommy and daddy, a big hug.
Now, Cher Bear, Madison, the new baby, Kevin, and Cher Bear’s doctor friend all became one happy family. And even although, Cher Bear and her doctor friend and lover never got married, they all remained one happy family.
