THIS HAS BEEN ONE NICE TRIP BY CHERYL V.

THIS HAS BEEN ONE NICE TRIP

This has been one nice trip to North Carolina. While there, I felt like all the mountains around the cabin, were all lush with nature. All the cows, especially, what someone called, “hippy cows”, were something else because the mother and daddy cows held back the baby from going up to the fence. Although, the parents were suspicious of humans being near and humans, who just wanted to eye all the buffaloes there at this big ranch.

What was very surprising to all us, residents, was how the owner of this buffalo farm, actually, allowed all of us to go down the mountains. So, that we all could get a good view of all the beautiful buffalo over at this ranch. Couldn’t get over how friendly the owner was to all of us. The owner even allowed Florence to take pictures of all the buffalo.

Although, the mountains were very steep, we all, still, managed to walk up and down the grassy mountains.

Another thing, I just loved doing in North Carolina, was walking up and down the hilly streets. All the Southern folks are very friendly.

Even this one woman, who, really, doesn’t know me, took a walk up and down this one hilly street. Also, we stopped over at one of her friends’ house. And there, the owner wanted us to stay for dinner. But I and the woman couldn’t stay long. We both had to get on our way.

Whenever I go down to North Carolina, I never want to have to go back home, again, because it’s so different down south. What I can’t get over is how all the Southern folks welcome others, even strangers, into their homes.
