THE GREAT ACCIDENT

Bill rode his horse, Flash; very loyally in this horse competition being there was a special tournament going on in Texas, where all the celebrity horses of the state were in competition with each other.

As someone summoned Bill, the lead guy opened up the gate, and Bill’s horse took off soaring down the track alongside the other horses. However, on the way down the track, he managed to get way ahead of all the other horses. And jus as his horse took the lead, suddenly, the horse became undomesticated for no certain reason that Bill could figure out.

Also, the horse, suddenly, caused much commotion on the track. All horses ceased movement in their tracks, and stopped so suddenly, that Flash, literally, shook Bill right off his horse. It’s a good thing that all the other horses, also, stopped, in comeback to all the terror that Flash was in.

As a couple of the riders desaddled their horses, and came up to Bill, he jus seemed to be lying motionless on the track. As the two guys approached him, it’s a good thing, which one of them used to be a paramedic, because his swift action in giving Bill, some CPR, and his lifesaving formula saved Bill’s life.

However, neither guy would have the guts to shift him around, because neither one was sure how dreadful Bill was injured. So, first, the one, who used to be a paramedic, carefully, felt the guy for fractures. And because Bill was able to move all parts of his body except for his legs, the ex-paramedic knew that both of his legs could be busted in dissimilar spots.

So, then, the guy’s girlfriend came running over to Bill, and gave her husband, the material so, that the guy could swathe Bill’s legs in casts. And jus after doing so, it’s a good thing that Bill jus happened to pull out of his comatose state, again. However, he was screaming bloody murder. So, then, the ex-paramedic gave him, some pain reliever all the way through an IV.

Then, along with the other rider’s assistance, both guys, then, carried Bill jus as he was slipping into a coma over to an ambulance, which was waiting for him. The two guys went in the ambulance with Bill over to the hospital.

In the meanwhile, while Bill was on his way over to the hospital, which wasn’t far-off from the horse track, the paramedics were watching him, closely to distinguish if he was going to come out of his coma. And while they were in surveillance over Bill, one of the guys happened to have Bill’s girlfriend’s phone number.

So, he made a call over to Laura, who jus happened to be very troubled about him being she hadn’t heard about Bill until she acknowledged this phone call, because being she hadn’t been able to watch Bill, compete on his horse. This was because she had jus happened to be over at work at a high school at the time of the race.

And she jus happened to be able to secure permission to depart her class, and encompass some alternate teacher, to take over for her, because she jus happened to stumble on about Bill being in the hospital with two busted legs. Also, she was very apprehensive for him, because she was overanxious if he would ever be able to go racing on his horse, ever again.

So, she acknowledged a call from the ex-paramedic, Dave, who jus happened to be over at the hospital, waiting for Bill to perceive if he would come out of his coma. And Dave along with the other guy, who have been looking out for Bill, ever since, he goy knocked down off his horse during the horse racing competition, were good companions of Bill.

Jus as she jus happened to be coaching one of her classes at the time of the phone call, she jus had been fortunate. That Beth, a substitute teacher, was able to take over for her with such short notice.

As soon as Beth arrived over at the school, Laura let her distinguish the bad news about her boyfriend. So, she jus happened to be a very compassionate person to Laura, and didn’t mind taking over for the duration of Laura’s class. Though, she jus had been making headway in her class at the time.

So, then, Laura thanked Beth, for taking over for her on such short notice. Then, she hurried out of the building, and, was acting like she was running for her life as she, reached her PT Cruiser.

Upon her, hopping into her car, she took off for the hospital, where Bill, still, was at, in the midst of trying to wrestle for his life. And while she was on her way over there, Bill’s two friends, really, were apprehensive about Bill, who, still, seemed to be in a comatose state, the last time, the doctor checked him out.

On her way over to the hospital, Chicago General Hospital, she stopped over at one of the express food places, an Arby’s, because she jus happened to be famished at this time, because she hadn’t devoured any breakfast, that morning.

Upon her, arriving over at Arby’s, she ordered a roast beef sandwich along with a big coffee in carry out. She was flabbergasted at how quickly; she was able to take delivery of her order. Upon paying the cashier for her order, then, because she was scurrying like a mouse, she didn’t bother stopping anywhere to eat. She jus took her food along with her.

Not too much time later, she arrived over at the hospital, and again, she hurried as fast as she could out of her car and through those hospital doors. Upon her, arriving over at the desk in the emergency area, the woman, there, at the emergency desk at that time, tried to put in the picture to her. That she wasn’t even tolerable inside the critical care unit to observe her boyfriend.

However, the doctor, taking care of Bill, jus happened to be going over to the desk. So, upon him, having overheard what the woman at the desk, jus told to Laura, he, then, handed her, the go-ahead to visit her boyfriend, Bill, because he jus didn’t know how much longer, Bill would be able to subsist if he didn’t come out of his comatose state, soon.

So, then, she rushed over to the critical unit with Bill’s doctor, leading her over there. So, she wouldn’t end up anywhere to be found, because she wasn’t sure jus where the critical care unit was at.

Jus as she was under her own steam inside that area, she jus happened to see, that both of Bill’s good friends, who both happened to be horse racers, themselves, weren’t flabbergasted to see Laura, show up over at the hospital. So, as soon as she approached Bill, she jus happened to perceive. That she had the notion, she jus saw him, shift around a little. Also, upon her, taking his right hand, he seemed to move his arm.

So, this happened to be a good indication that he might be coming out of his coma. So, since, the doctor jus happened to walk into the room at this time, because he sought after Bill to ensure he was no longer comatose, Laura said to him in a frantic voice.

“Doctor, I believe that it might be imminent, he’s coming out of his coma, because he jus moved his right arm upon me, stirring his right hand. Also, I jus detected him, opening up his eyes, too. He seems to be responding to me, and I think he’s aware of the fact with the intention. I’m, here, for him.”

“Well, we’ll find out very soon, if he, really, is coming out of his coma. While I’m checking him out, why don’t you talk to him, and see if he responds to you. If he opens up his eyes, again, and starts talking to you, we’ll know that he’s, actually, come out of his coma.”

So, feeling frenzied and very vexed about Bill’s well being, she said to him, “Bill, it’s me, Laura, I’ve been very fretful for you for about the past two hours, because I thought you made it through the whole race. However, because I haven’t heard from you, I, really, started to get panicky inside for your life. At first, I thought that another horse had run you over, and that you had ended up being dead meat right on the track. So, if you can have the sense of hearing me, try to say something to me.”

Then, he started opening his eyes, again, and this time, he seemed to be able to keep his eyes open. So, then, in seeing her, standing by his bedside along with his two best friends, he, then, said to her, “My darling, it’s you, here, I’m glad you came to see me, because you never made it over to the race track, today, did you, honey?”

“No, my dear, I was going to call you before, but I figured by that time, that you were on the track, racing, and didn’t want to be disturbed at that time. However, now, I feel very awful inside, because I knew darn well. That you were going to be on the race track, today. But because I had to be over at the school to tutor this morning, I, really, didn’t have time to call you.”

Upon getting her composure back, she said to him, “And somehow, I forgot my cell phone, so, there was no way, I could call you, earlier, before you entered the race track. How are you, feeling at this time? I heard through a phone call over at the school. That you were scared out of your wits in having been thrown off your horse, and had an unfortunate outcome with two broken legs.”

Then, while Laura and Bill’s two first-rate companions were near Bill’s bed, the doctor, upon examining Bill, thoroughly, came to the conclusion. As soon as Bill’s legs were restored back to health, he could, then, initiate physical therapy.

However, jus after the doctor examined him, he started coding. So, then, Laura and Bill’s buddies had to leave the room. And the doctor called in the nurse into the critical care unit with the machine, required stopping him from coding.

Then, the nurse kept trying for about ten minutes or so to retrieve a heartbeat in Bill. But she had no accomplishment in getting his heart rhythm back to normal. And upon understanding this, his friends and Laura jus started breaking down into tears over Bill being gone.

So, they all stayed as long as they could at Bill’s bedside. And then, a chaplain was called into the room from the hospital chapel, and said the last rites for Bill.

Then, afterwards, when he left the room, Bill’s two companions figured that for Laura, it was considered necessary, she have some time unaccompanied with him. So, she stayed another hour, jus chatting to him as if he were still breathing and could have the sense of hearing her, talking.

So, then, while being in tears enough to fill a bucket, she said to him, “Oh, my Bill, why did you have to depart us like this? I don’t discern what to do without you in my life. And I’m going to be anguished a long time over your death, my dear. Another thing is that I’ll perceive that you remain in my prayers. And I’ll be sure to attend your funeral, which is going to be held right here inside the hospital chapel.”

Then, after chatting to Bill for a little while, she jus stopped, there, inside his room. So the guys can come to retrieve his body inside his room. In the meantime, she was meditative over some prayers for him, so that he would go to Heaven. And before she became aware of it, a couple of guys arrived to pick up his body.

Then, while she followed them, they took him right over to the chapel, where her and also, Bill’s two horse racing buddies, also, attended the funeral, which turned out short and sweet.
